City nightmare: Cops will not always come to the rescue

Oaklandpolicechiefbatts Oakland police chief Anthony Batts announced that police officers in his city will not always be able to come to the rescue.

He listed about 40 possible crimes that officers will be forced to disregard. Burglary, car wrecks, identity theft and grand theft are on the list.

Batts said he has lost about 10 percent of the police officers in his department.
