Dozens of cars broken into in Little Havana

Miami_PoliceNearly 50 cars were broken into overnight at a Little Havana building.

Miami police are on the scene at 120 SW Eighth Ave.

A rude awakening for dozens of residents of a Miami apartment building after they awake to find their vehicles had been broken into overnight.

The vehicles' windows were smashed and some were burglarized.

“I woke up and I’m like, OMG, this can’t be happening, both of my cars got hit, I can’t believe it,”  Marco Garcia told CBS4.

The building and garage have security, Miami police said.

“"We’re still trying to figure out how they entered the building to damage all the vehicles,” said Miami police spokeswoman Frederica Burden.
