Metrorail stopped in its tracks over technical issues

Commuters traveling north on Metrorail's orange line are being asked to leave the train at the Earlington Heights station and take a free shuttle to Miami International Airport, said Karla Damian, a Miami-Dade Transit spokeswoman.

For the moment, trains are not able to proceed farther than the Earlington Heights station due to technical difficulties, Damian said.

"We have staff over there to help out," Damian said.
