Suspect grabs genitals, tells cop: 'You have a right to this'

From the Tampa Bay Times:

A homeless man taken into custody this week had a special message for the deputy who was arresting him.

"As I attempted to read the defendant his Miranda warnings he grabbed his genitals and stated 'you have a right to this,' " the deputy wrote in an arrest report.

The man, Andrew P. Carra, 37, was sitting in front of a Pinellas County bail bonds business on Monday evening. Deputies said he was drunk and began screaming and cursing at the owner when he was asked to leave. When a deputy arrived, Carra threatened to kill him, arrest reports state.

Carra also told the arresting deputy "to lay off the Viagra rookie cop," reports state. It's unclear what he meant by this.

Carra was charged with disorderly intoxication and threatening a public servant.
