Updated with video: Miami Springs police seek help in finding armed robber

Police are looking for an armed robber who held up the a Subway restaurant in Miami Springs.

At 7:55 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to Subway in the 4800 block of NW 36th St, near an active construction site.

​The suspect, described as a 5-foot-7-inch black male, in his mid 20's, with a medium build, pointed a "black semi-automatic pistol at employees and demanded money from both registers," the report shows.

​The suspect tried to run out a back door but it was locked. He was last seen walking down a nearby alley wearing a "white skull cap, baggy shorts and a black T-shirt."
