Dolphins lose second in row, 27-13 to Ravens

The Dolphins figured they could get back to .500 today.

They figured wrong.

They didn't figure on Chad Pennington throwing an interception that went for a Baltimore touchdown.

They didn't figure on having their Wildcat package declawed by the Ravens first-ranked defense.

They didn't figure Willis McGahee would come off the bench and gain 105 yards on only 19 carries for a 5.5 yard per carry average. They didn't figure rookie quarterback Joe Flacco could prosper against them.

The Dolphins least of all didn't figure Cam Cameron's offense would dominate the Miami defense. By the way, I detail the frustrations and misdeeds of the Dolphins defense here in a column I wrote for today's newspaper.

All that happened and now the Dolphins stand at 2-4. They play division leading Buffalo at home next week.

So what do you think?

U Want To Know What Ted(hands Of Stone)brings To The Table? He Ll Bring A Knife A Fork And 2 Or 3 Relatives Thats All He Brings

1-Ginn is done.. No more chances.. Drops kickoffs, runs out of bounds just short of a first down OR because he is afraid to get hit.. Bench him and try someone else.
2-The defense sucks. They started with good fundamentals, now, they forgot how to tackle and over pursue constantly. That is why cut back runners are so effective against them. The DB's can't cover my dead grandmother! They are way to small as well. The draft and trades/free agents are the only thing that will fix that.
3-There is NO deep threat, PERIOD! None! Zilch! NADA! This is not just a receiver issue but also the fact that Chad P. cannot throw a long ball! Great manager, no arm.. Keep him as a mentor for Henne! I saw Henne at the Senior Bowl and he has the complete arm.. Shot gun and touch..

Coaches.. Much better than last year! Keepers!

More new player talent needed. 2 more years folks!

How to beat the Dolphins:

Stop the run.

Yeah, Pennington is a leader and can 'thread the needle' - but there is not one game breaker among the receivers.

U Want To Know What Ted(hands Of Stone)brings To The Table? He Ll Bring A Knife A Fork And 2 Or 3 Relatives Thats All He Brings

I Always Said U Need Two Things To Succede In This Game # 1 Is A Qb That Can Throw #2 A Reciever Who Can Catch, What Iam Seeing Here With These Dolphins Is A Qb That Cant Throw More Then 20 Yards(hell I Can Throw It Farther And Ive Been Dead For 35 Years)and Ur Guy Ginn Stinks ,and This Coming From A Corpse, but Then Again I Feel Lucky To Be Watching Football ,reception Down Here Is Pretty Gond(thanks Direct Tv)and Oh Yeah Hey Wayne Bring Ice..

IF YOU NEED 7 YARDS FOR A FIRST DOWN, STOP THROWING IT 4 YARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lets put in chad henne

ginn will be okay once we use henne ( arm strenght)

oopps strength

I didnt get to see the game but either they didnt try to run enough(only 22 tries and 4 of them were Penny going for yardage after nobody was open again or just because Pennt has no arm strength. The ravens ran 35 times! It really makes it easy for a young QB when he doesn't have to do all the work. Hell, the Ravens had a 5 yrd average on runs! We need a NT in draft just like a lot of other positions. Oh well, its year one and the positions drafted have been solid. Go Phins!

We aren't old enough, tough enough or talented enough. But we are improving each week. We can see it happening. We are still inexperienced and find ways to lose. So everyone stop whining. We were 1 and 15 last year. The one fluky win was against the same guys that were out to kick out butts today. We will win a couple more, draft in the top 5 and keep growing. Nothing wrong with what we are doing. Did we honestly think sb this year?

Oh and to answer Mando's question... the Bills will maul us. They are one of the best teams out there this year and if Edwards hadn't been hurt I believe they would have won last week and be undefeated. We just don't have the secondary to compete and if Ferguson is sidelined at all we will get eaten up on runs as well.

The Bills are solid and we have a little ways to go to get there.

Can we agree that the wildcard is not opening any more back-doors?

well if you saw BIG Tuna..he was mad..and if coach is all he has, they are on way to a great draft, but draft no help at moment..penny did what he could, but o-line came apart..and missed takels did not help...and dropped passes..or overthrows.it was lousey game. their linebackers did ok, but rest of defense let down..and play callimg was outdated..so lets blame every body..including fans who did not show up...plus look at it this way..team gets a crack at 1st round or 2nd round pick after this season..and that means they have to play hennie some time this yr..yes fans are down on team..as well they should be, but part of it is coaching..as well it should be..and owner is not happy, so something has to give..i wonder when??? THEY CALL ME RICK..

What I think has not changed from day one. Our Miami Dolphins will win 4 to 6 games this year, an improvement over last year. I also think that 90% of the people that post in here are mentally challenged. I would like to point out that the Dolphins were 1-15 last year and before this year they hadn't had a good draft in over a decade. So expecting them to turn it around in one season is incredibly ignorant. There are NO teams in the nfl that you are "supposed" to beat when you're coming off a 1-15 season and your #1 and #2 pick from the previous season are not contributing. There are so many reasons not to whine, and cry, and belittle, and second guess the coaches but most of you wouldn't be happy if you weren't so ignorant, so all the power to you. Keep it up Dolphins fans, we are extremely close to beating Jets fans as the dumbest fans in all of sports, be proud.

Post at 7:52 was me.

I think Bills will win game..thats what i think..and because everybody is guessing..no telling..with this team..but it was same ol nothing..its like they can score, a field gold is better..and they are are afraid to take chances..WHY??? I dont know..anyway coaches call game..so blame it on them..it seems to go down to players..and wildcat play is always the same..that wildcat can have a bunch of varations, in it..so they should try using them...THEY CAll ME RICK.

If Miami can't beat Buffalo next week, put in Henne for the last 9 games. A 2-5 record would be the end of season and any wildcard playoff dreams.

WELL if you are smarter than we are, why not use your name...it does take a yr or so for a team to develop in to play the way fans would like them to play..but as fans we have right to say whats on our minds..and you have right not read or report what you think fans are saying is bad..most posts are from true fans who love team but because of way its played, they get upset..so what..thats their way..and if we are morons, than it takes 1 to know 1..and now you know why country is messed up..morons running it.. THEY CALL ME RICK.

I agree with ny scott about the 90% are mentally challenged on here. People that call others names like idiots and whiners are in that 90%. So you are in the majority with all your post. I would love to see you tell one of the fin players face to face they are going to win 4-6 games this season. That would be funny. So heres some advice, post your opinion and respect others opinions.Thats what this comments page is for. Typing is not tough guy stuff, you know what I mean.

ignorant fans are a dime a dozen...every where, but its no brainer to say coaches are right, and players are wrong..and fans are ignorant..we pay our way to games, to help pay the coaches and players saleries,so thats give us right to demand a winner, and when team loses, it hurts..and we complain about it..does that make us all wrong or ignorant..or are we just unhappy home folks, when we see our team lose..and for no name poster to say that we ignorant..because we dont back team..and we dont know how long it takes to get team up to speed, you my no name friend are wrong..thats are way, and we dont make excuses for bad play..THEY CALL ME RICK.

Yeah , on the money Rick!

I'm tempted to say put Henne in but after seeing the horrible job Flacco did today we need to keep Henne on the bench for several years so he can get better. Having him on the field, driving the offense up and down, would only hurt his development the same way it is hurting Flacco and Ryan.

Listen, Henne is not going to play this year. Or at least he shouldn't. Pennington has not been the problem, he's the best we've had for the past 5 years. Let Henne learn from the sidelines. This is a team that won one game last year, they're being re-built. It doesn't happen in one year. Another draft, a couple of free agents, this will be a winning team soon, just not this year. Relax.

how long does it take before a rookie qb understands the nfl game.henne is from michagan.pretty tough school w/plenty of tough teams in its conference.flacco is from delaware and ryan is from bc.both are smart guys playing now.but they didn't play against tougher teams in college.why can't we see him in a series or a half to see just what he could do.they let d.thomas play guard, they let bess return kicks and catch a plays at reciever.they let merling and langford play d.what make this situation any different.everyone knew we would be a pretty bad team this season.only the wildcat surfaced and we surpised 2 teams and almost a third.but is this how a parcells team wants to be like.trick or treat type of team.letsc see if henne has learned anything since he has arrived other than hol a clip board.at least if he is the future.we will know.

As much as I want to see the Dolphins progress and not regress, I can't help but feel optimistic about our odds at landing Crabtree next year in the draft. Obviously, this won't make us immediate Super Bowl contenders seeing as our secondary can't make a play with the exception of Bell, but a big play primary receiver like Crabtree would have helped us WIN a game against a team like Baltimore that allows teams to go over the top on them.

Starting Henne is NOT the answer. Let's not ruin a young QB by throwing him to the wolves. QB's take time to develop, usually in their 3rd year they produce. We all can't have a Matt Ryan or a Dan Marino. Thats is RARE. What WE NEED is the draft. So be patient and wait until the offseason. It's just they way it is. Don't mortgage the future (Henne) just for a couple of wins today. Besides, get real we are NOT going to the playoffs this year anyway.

I won't blame anybody but I'm really dissapointed like every dolphin fan.
Miami never take advantage of opportunities for instance:
1-we should've beat the jets with the last play of the game.
2)Yeremiah Bell forced a fumble(andre johnson) close to the end zone, we recovered, we didnt score(it was a one possesion ballgame).
3)Yeremiah Bell forced a fumble(Willis Mcgahee) close to the end zone, we recovered, we didnt score(it was a one possesion ballgame).
I noticed we can't defend any screen pass, why they keep running the same play with the wilcat formation? why Sparano doesnt have the guts when it's 4th and goal? they have to be more aggressive!!!
I ain't gonna say no more about the dolphins until they win...

Today was a very winnable game for the Phins! But this is just another step towards our rebuilding process, they need to know how to beat teams they are supposed to beat! I'm not really to concerned about our growth, yeah it would be nice to get a win here or there. But lets be honest, did anyone here think we were going to make the playoffs? I'm only expecting a 4/5 win season. There are lots of areas that need to be addressed this next off season. Secondary in my opinion should be top priority, as well as WR. these 2 positions besides the QB spot take the most time to develop.
There is no need to throw Henne in while Pennington is doing a great job. Consider that he has NO talent at the WR position and he has pretty good numbers, not great but good numbers. If he had some talent on the outside he might be having a pro bowl type season. It was nice to finally see Ginn on kick offs again, he is a major improvement over Bess. Keep finding more ways to get Cobb the ball!

Time for Chad Henne , we need the big threat on our pass offense and he has the big arm.

Defenses know we are going to do short passes and run the ball so they stack the line.

I like Pennington, he is a good QB but his lack of confidence to throw deep balls is bad.
He always checks it off to a 3 or 5 yd pass.
like when it was 3rd and 7 he throws a 3 yd pass, HELLO????

Glad to see Ginn back receiving kickoffs, he will run a few back this year.

The best Player, Ricky Williams is not getting enough carries to get in a Rhythm.

Give him the ball and he will get the job done he is a 2nd half power house.

Pissed me off the cowboys got Roy Williams instead of Miami, Miami needs a big reciever threat to open the running game up.

Teams will double cover Roy Williams leaving Ginn and Camarillo more open. HELLO?????
And Roy Williams will catch the ball in double coverage and is good after the catch as well.

Be a great red zone threat as well and once again open the running game. but NO DEAL.

Love Parcells, but he wants to save his draft pics to rebuild.

A #1 pic next yr and Wilford and Hagan to Detroit for Willams? even throw i na late pic hell. the guy is young, big and powerful.

We need to keep Bell as a defense back and boot the rest of the d backs, and get hitters and players back there next yr.

Merling and Langford are good run stoppers
but we need a great pass rusher to go with Porter, they may develop though.

I will always be a loyal Dolphin Fan, I am just so sick of them being losers. pisses me off.
Sometimes the coaches think and do to much and that pisses me off.
1.RUN RICKY MORE
2.CHAD HENNE AS QB,
3.BIG RECIEVER TRADE DEADLINE?<<< To late for that one.
4. Go for it on 4th and Inches dammit no matter were the ball is cause even though we punt, the other team still scores on us.
It will give our team attitude and confidence and momentum because we will convert 90% of the time I am pretty sure.

I don't care if we are in the super bowl I just want to see a tough, smart team playing there heart out for the millions they make.
And coaches that dont over think or are scared to play as Men and not lets manage the game , be different go for it play brave play aggressive, teams will fear us. now they know what were doing and they can handle it.

Stick with the wild cat it will still work sometimes.

Without their starting nose tackle it was bound to be a rough game for the defense. Since they lack depth at the position it's no wonder they couldn't put enough pressure on Flacco. They really need to get Jason Allen more playing time back there. He seems to have the best hands of the bunch as far as pulling down INT's. His cover skills will improve with more playing time as he did last year.

Like any realist, I never expected our team to win more than 5-6 games or make it to the playoffs this year. But what I did expect was a gradual but steady improvement. Sorry but I'm just not seeing that.

I am seeing too many coaching mistakes.

This game was over at half time: Henne should have been allowed to play the entire 4th quarter! At least we could have tried to get the ball down field!! Pennington just had a bad game.

YOU IDIOTS STOP SAYING WE HAVE NO DEEP THREAT. PENNINGTON CAN'T THROW THE FU**ING BALL PAST 15 YARDS.

IF ANY OF YOU ACTUALLY WATCHED THE GAME IN PERSON YOU WOULD HAVE SEEN GINN OPEN DEEP THE WHOLE GAME. PENNINGTON CAN'T THROW DEEP. WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND ABOUT PENNINGTON HAVING THE WEAKEST ARM IN THE LEAGUE.

PENNINGTON HAS THE WORST ARM IN THE LEAGUE

PENNINGTON IS ONLY LOOKING TO THROW THE BALL TO THE GREAT WHITE HYPE (CAMARILLO)

STOP SAYING WE HAVE NO DEEP THREAT. GINN WONT BE EFFECTIVE AS A DEEP THREAT UNTIL HENNE PLAYS.

GET THIS THROUGH YOUR THICK HEADS PENNINGTON CAN'T THROW A DEEP BALL. WHY DO YOU THINK THE JETS BEEN TRYING TO GIVE HIS JOB AWAY FOR YEARS. HOW MANY DEEP THROWS HAVE YOU SEEN PENNINGTON MAKE? 000000. THE WILDCAT PASS AGAINST THE TEXANS TOOK EVERYTHING THAT GARBAGE ARM HAD TO THROW IT 25 YARDS

STOP TALKING ABOUT THE RECEIVERS AND TALK ABOUT THE QB. THE GREAT WHITE HYPE (CAMARILLO) IS GETTING TOO MANY PASSES THROWN HIS WAY. JUST LIKE WAYNE CHREBET DID IN NEW YORK.

I'VE BEEN A SEASON TICKET HOLDER FOR 10 YEARS. THE RAVENS SECONDARY IS WEAK RIGHT NOW ED REED PLAYED HALF THE GAME AND THE STARTING CORNER SAMARI ROLLE WAS OUT. I WATCHED GINN BEAT HIS MAN ALL GAME AND ON ONE PLAY HE WAS IN THE SLOT AND RAN UNCOVERED DOWN THE FIELD AND WHAT WAS PENNINGTON DOING STARING DOWN THE GREAT WHITE HYPE (CAMARILLO)

AFTER ONE SERIES OF PENNINGTON STARING DOWN CAMARILLO GINN SLAMMED HIS HELMET DOWN ON THE SIDELINE AND STARTED YELLING OBVIOUSLY FRUSTRATED BY HIS LACK OF OPPORTUNITIES. TED GINN IS THE ONLY GUY AT RECEIVER WHO'S SPEED THE OTHER TEAMS MIGHT RESPECT. PENNINGTON NEEDS TO REALIZE WHO HIS PLAYMAKER AT RECEIVER IS AND STOP STARING DOWN THIS FU**ING JOURNYMAN

On offense, Miami can play against any defence, even with the weak play at WR after Camarillo. However, on defence, they suffer from a severe lack of quality. They need to infuse more talent. All available money and picks should be spent on defence. If they can add one more pass rusher and one corner, one ILB and FS, this team could play against anyone.

EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL KNOWS THAT PENNIBGTON HAS THE WEAKEST ARM IN THE LEAGUE, AND THEY KNOW HE CAN'T AND WONT THROW DEEP

penne has the worst arm in the nfl and i would bet that 95% of college qb's have better arms than that pansy as$. what are your coaches thinking? your best qb is sitting at 3rd string. its pathetic to watch that girl penne out there struggling to shot put that ball it makes me laugh every time, theres a reason he was benched last year and the phins are lame for having him in there, but he looks perfect in those gay uniforms you guys got, so gay and perfect for a florida team

people were allready talking superbowl after 2 wins..This is a rebuilding year... With Pennington at QB we are limited to short gains and have to play mistake free to win... i would like to see henne get some snaps soon.. Ginn finally started fielding kicks and we had an improvement of at least 10 yards if not more on field position.

People say we have no talent at receiver? Camarillo catches everything thrown at him and gins's problem is that he get open where penny cant get to him. seriously i bet that gin can out run pennington's longest throw before it hits the ground.

When we were trailing with about 8 minutes left did anyone think we had a chance? NO. Even Penny knew he had no chance.
Henne would give us a chance to win late in the game.
But then again I wouldn't want to hurt his development. Sitting on the bench is much more beneficial than marching the offense up and down the field. Just look at how horribly Flacco is developing.

FLACCO DEVELOPING HORRIBLY? MASTER WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? 17-23 FOR 232 YARDS 1 TD 0 INT'S, A WIN ON THE ROAD HIS TEAM IS 3-3 SOUNDS BETTER THAN OUR SEASONED VETERAN. IT'S NOT LIKE HE HAS A BUNCH OF WEAPONS OVER THERE EITHER.

the play calling was very bad.
so conservative, running up the middle on good run def.time after time, not going for the big strike down field, these little dinky passes, what do you have to lose by throwing it up on a weaker pass def.just think of what manning did to them.
throwing it 5 yds when you need 10 and hoping the wr. can make the5 yds on his own.
play calling like they are on game away from going to the superbowl and playing to preserve a lead and not make a mistake.

if their going lose doing this dink and dunk ,run up the crowded middle every run crap ,then they might as well lose letting it fly at least 3or4 times a game and at least ginn gets some in game experiance trying to catch a bomb as far as chad can throw it.

not going for it on 4th an 1 when your def. if you punt it can't stop a decsent return and they almost get back to the line of scrimmage of the punt, take the chance on making the first, what do you have to lose, maybe a couple of spots in the draft,oh now I get it.
it's all about the spot in the draft,if they do to good this year it drops them in the draft ,that they need so bad.I guess it's best for the team to play like your going somewhere when your not to get a better draft spot.

Refresh my memory, did'nt we have just 1 win last year?

its funny how everyone blames our losses on pennington...if u were actually watching the game u would see damn near 20 missed tackles in each of the past 2 games...no doubt henne has a stronger arm but there is no way he would've done as well as pennington against the ravens defense...in the 2nd half pennington was 16-20 he had that one mistake in the first half and thats it...and heres a quick stat 4 yall...pennington is 4th in the nfl in avg. per completion and 11th in passes over 20 yards...both in the top half of quarterbacks...so shut the hell up with that cant throw past 10 yards bullshit

All I have to say is that if the secondary had caught just two of the three interception chances they had, the Ravens would have scored 14 points less. If they had stopped the ROOKIE QB, who is more of a pocket passer, than Mr. Mobility, on fourth down, they would have only had to intercept one pass. Of course, had they not jumped offsides on third down before fourth down, they wouldn't have been close enough to go for it in the first place. You make errors at bad times, and it costs you the game. Penny pulls that ball down, and the D mans up on those two afore mentioned drives, and we win, 13-6. I know if a QB isn't throwing any ints, he isn't trying hard enough, but field stretching ints, that are more like punts, are one thing, trying to throw an out, while a defender is holding your momentum back, when you admit to seeing the LB coming, and you are known to not have the strongest arm is clearly not the type of INT we want to see. Anyone can see that outcome, even as anyone could see that Schaub was going to run last week(another case of a mental error costing us the game).

I never called anyone an idiot. Being ignorant and being an idiot are two totally different things. If you weren't such an idiot you would know that.

This game certainly pointed out how far we have yet to go. The Ravens had a great defensive game plan… They gave us the deep ball knowing Pennington could not get the ball down field and then concentrated on the run game and short to intermediate passing. That allowed them to protect their depleted secondary and Pennington could not exploit it. This game plan will be duplicated in the coming weeks and I don’t think there is a lot we can do about it.

Armando wrote about Channing Chowder a few blogs ago and I paid particular attention to him during the game. He played a terrible game. He has no anticipation. He was constantly in the wrong place, over running the play, slow to the point of attack, getting blocked by pulling guards who beat him to the spot. There is no way he will get a big payday from the Dolphins. He may get is his money but it will be with another team. I didn’t realize at the time that Ferguson was hurt but it was an awful performance regardless.

But I still believe we are two drafts away but a lot better than last year. With that in mind I would not rush Henne into the fray. Let him learn a bit before throwing him to the dogs. At this point I don’t think he would make much difference. You guys are going to not like this, but I say lose and lose some more… I want talent, I mean game changing talent and that only comes with well selected high draft picks.

When and if the offensive line can help this team to run the football, it may be time to let Henne get SOME experience. 77 yards rushing yesterday sucks. We need to run and run and run and then slide in a few passes. If we depend on the pass, we will never be a dominant team. We need to control the clock, keep opposing offenses off the field and wear teams down. Pretty passes may wow the crowd, but grinding it out wins games. Give me an ugly boring win over a pretty passing loss any day

My last post was obviously a joke. Look Rick, and anyone else who commented on my post from yesterday, tell me what I said that was wrong. I am calling people ignorant for damn good reasons. If you weren't one of the people in here screaming that our DBs suck (we already know that right?) or calling Sparano "Spardumbo" than why do you care? If you weren't saying that we should start Henne because Pennington had ONE bad game, or being suprised that a team that is one season removed from 1-15 (and completely cleaned house) is struggling than why comment on my post? If you weren't one of the ignorant posters, what do you care? Are you saying those are all insightful well thought out opinions? And winners only,,,,,,I don't even know where to start with you. Calling someone a whiner is a fact, not an insult. If people come in here crying and whining and second guessing every play from their couch like they know anything at all about the game, they are whiners. FACT. But people who come in here calling the coach a fat goomba because they lost a game do NOT deserve nor will they ever get one ounce of respect from me. Calling the coach names is not fact, it's ignorance. If you want to lump yourself in with those jackasses by all means go right ahead. Also "we pay our way to games"? Really? Then why were half of the seats empty yesterday? How were you able to post in here all day if you were at the game?

It's not a bad or wrong thing to have feelings of dissapointment for your team but what I am referring to is the utter lack of any kind of reasoning ability in some people. Did we not all know that the team was going to take a few years to rebuild? Then why are you getting your panties in a bunch when our rebuilding team doesn't do well against the number one defense in the league? Why get upset when we already knew they were starting the rebuild with young o-line and d-line guys and we would have to wait for some WRs and DBs? Can't fix it all over night so why get so upset? The perception that this somehow makes you a real fan is laughable. "I would love to see you tell one of the fins players they are going to win 4-6 games this season". I'll yell it from the mountain tops my friend! Are you insinuating that I would be too scared to offer my opinion to someone? I bet you over half of the players are wondering if they can even win 6 games this year. They're not stupid, they can look around and see the lack of talent on the team due to years of bad drafting and poor personnel decisions. You think Joey Porter isn't looking at his DBs and shaking his head knowing we would have three more wins right now if they could catch the damn ball? You think Pennington isn't looking at his wr's knowing that if they could actually get open the Phins wouldn't have to use the wildcat to generate offense? Just stop the crying already. That's all I'm asking because it's getting old. We are not going to the superbowl and the playoffs seem like a very remote possibility. Just sit back and enjoy watching our team be competitive and watch the young guys like Langford, Merling, Long, Henne, Bess and others continue to grow.

dreday... stop YELLING MORON. Out.

I have to agree with NYScott... All you complainers need to quit crying already.

Facts:

* Our Defense does have holes and we turned over half our Roster AND We are a better team than last year. We do need to upgrade at DB and more Depth at D-Line (especially NT) but we are competitive.

* We also need taller WR's... My question is, why were Wilford and Hagen deactivated for this game again?!? The small lineup of WR really isn't working. Fasano and Martin are getting alot of those catches over smaller DB's. We need more size and better route runners who can get open.

Look if you're a real Dolphin Fan like me, you have a right to gripe. But Henne does not need to play this year. He's no Peyton Manning where he was able to learn under fire. He needs to learn the Neounces of the NFL QB and he'll be fine sitting on the bench and learning from a field General. Does Pennington have the arm strenght? Probably not but he doesn't force anything (besides yesterdays INT) and makes smart decisions with the football... I'm in Cali and totally hate the Raiders, as fans we can't become Al Davis and try and force a play when we don't have the right personell to run it. If our receivers don't know how to get seperation, how are we gonna throw the ball deep with Henne.... C'mon cry babies, have a brain.. I guess if you never played the game or coached it, you wouldn't have a clue what it takes to win a football game and last Sunday against Baltimore... Our Defense let us down... Our Offense was good enough to win the game, but our Defense couldn't get any stops/Interceptions when it was thrown their way... If we make that INT (i think it was Hill that dropped that for sure INT) we'd be giddy with Joy that the Dolphins are 3-3 and not crying for Henne to start playing... Keep him on the bench and let him learn (i.e.: Carson Palmer, Aaron Rogers), we don't want a Ryan Leaf, JP Lossman type QB where they get their confidence shaken up by NFL pass rushes. Let Henne see from the sidelines, take notes, and maybe next year he'll be ready to take the reigns, maybe his third year, but let's not rush him. We do have holes and I'm sure the Trifecta will address that in the off season, but I think they should pick-up Ty Law. That way if Fergy is out, at least we have a shut down corner on one side and we'll be able to blitz more to make up for Fergy being out.... Oh at least the JETS lost... I hate the Raiders, but will be happy for their win since it was against the Biotches, I mean the JETS...

WIN, LOSE, OR TIE, DOLPHINS TILL I DIE!!
