The Dolphins were backpedaling at the start of today's game as New England came out passing and took a 3-0 lead.
But an interception by Renaldo Hill set the Dolphins up in good field position and they converted with a TD pass from Chad Pennington to Greg Camarillo.
So the Dolphins are leading, but the Patriots were driving again near the end of the first quarter.

thanks for the tip

What has happened to our defense. The secondary needs that depth, play call questionable.
Posted by: The Boz in Oz | November 23, 2008 at 02:18 PM
The defense is terrible today. Two turnovers is all that's saving the game from being a total embarrassment. They need to step up their level of play in the 2nd half. Miami isn't going to win a shootout.
Posted by: The New Kid | November 23, 2008 at 02:19 PM
Patriots have won 38 consecutive games in which they are leading at halftime.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 23, 2008 at 02:19 PM
BEEF SEZ, YOU GUYS R RIGHT BOUT DIERDORF I THIN HE HAS A HOMOSEXUAL INTREST IN CASSEL.
Posted by: BEEF SUPREME | November 23, 2008 at 02:19 PM
another gut check. 2 minutes to go. Field goal and we're still in it. I think we get the ball first in the second half?
Posted by: tjh | November 23, 2008 at 02:20 PM
We are asking too much from our offense
Posted by: dolphanforlife | November 23, 2008 at 02:20 PM
He should've broken that outside!!
Posted by: Joel | November 23, 2008 at 02:20 PM
hey armando what about the nice tackle by hill
Posted by: paul | November 23, 2008 at 02:20 PM
You have to give him help with a safety or bracket him and hope gaffeney can be tackled in the middle of the field. Jerkdorf and Gumble calling cassell aka brady
Posted by: nyfinfan | November 23, 2008 at 02:20 PM
Honestly, this commentary team's man-love for the Pats is totally sickening.
Posted by: yuck again | November 23, 2008 at 02:21 PM
Dierdorf is a turd, btw. Glad I'm just watching the game on a sports ticker
Posted by: tjh | November 23, 2008 at 02:21 PM
This is the day all of those streaks of the Pats come to an end...

38 games.About time for that to end today!
Posted by: Tony T Bone | November 23, 2008 at 02:22 PM
"Patriots have won 38 consecutive games in which they are leading at halftime."
You must mean regular season, they lost the Super Bowl.
Posted by: sjs | November 23, 2008 at 02:22 PM
Beef Sez:NOT THAT THERES ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT.
Posted by: BEEF SUPREME | November 23, 2008 at 02:23 PM
Who thought at the start of todays game that our secondary, including Jason Allen, Goodman and weak nickel backs could stop the better passing attacks in the NFL ? I didn't, but couldn't see such a nose dive in performance coming
Posted by: The Boz in Oz | November 23, 2008 at 02:24 PM
Cassel threw 24 times already. They have no run game at all or just think our secondary is weak... I hope they keep throwing i see Another INT before its over
Posted by: Beerphin | November 23, 2008 at 02:24 PM
Metamorphasis, right before your eyes, back into our old ways....
Even if we don't win another game, its been a heck of a turnaround!
Posted by: Livefrom305 | November 23, 2008 at 02:24 PM
Let's see a deep ball to Ginn.
Posted by: Joel | November 23, 2008 at 02:25 PM
lower your head and get some extra yards Bess!!!!
Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 02:25 PM
Bess was DUMB to go out of bounds; needed to tick off the clock; GRR
Posted by: Andrew H | November 23, 2008 at 02:25 PM
24-14 coming up!!!!
Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 02:25 PM
Pennington went to the weel once too often.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 23, 2008 at 02:25 PM
Come on Dierdorf.........you can find it within yourself to say something about Jake Long beyond the fact he works hard and is a nice guy. Oh no, you can't
Posted by: pathetic | November 23, 2008 at 02:26 PM
Field is kicking the crap out of the ball today.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 23, 2008 at 02:26 PM
Hopefully that 3-and-out isn't too costly.
Posted by: The New Kid | November 23, 2008 at 02:26 PM
higlight of the game is a punt?
Posted by: dolphanforlife | November 23, 2008 at 02:26 PM
Back to the Bess thing, isn't he supposed to be the third option? The Dolphins haven't thrown to Ginn once today.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 23, 2008 at 02:26 PM
Great punt! We need the ball back before the half!
Posted by: beerphin | November 23, 2008 at 02:26 PM
"I'm not sure there's anyone in the league I like watching return punts more than Wes Welker".
just horrifying
Posted by: dierdorf at it again | November 23, 2008 at 02:27 PM
Quit bitching about Dierdorf and turn the sound off.Why listen to an idiot?
Posted by: Tony T Bone | November 23, 2008 at 02:27 PM
I think i'd let time tick off the clock. Don't let them get a score. Just take the 3pt defecit Tony
Posted by: Andrew H | November 23, 2008 at 02:27 PM
Turnover please !!
Posted by: The Boz in Oz | November 23, 2008 at 02:28 PM
NO WORRIES. GO ATTACK NEW ENGLAND ALL OVER THE FIELD. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO RUN THE BALL AND KILL THE CLOCK. THEREFORE, THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO THROW. THAT CAN LEEEEAD TO TURNOVERS! KEEP BELIEVING GUYS!
Posted by: Hayden Fox | November 23, 2008 at 02:28 PM
Totally agree we need to involve Ginn Jr. Our playmaker in our receiving corp
Posted by: Beerphin | November 23, 2008 at 02:28 PM
crowder has really played pretty well today
Posted by: actually | November 23, 2008 at 02:28 PM
I think "attack". Don't settle for anything today.
Posted by: tjh | November 23, 2008 at 02:28 PM
They hold every damn play
Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 02:29 PM
Beef Sez:OVER 200 YDS PASS BY DIERDORF LOVE INTREST, NOT GOOD. I THINK DIERDORFF WILL EXCUSE HIMSELF AT HALF TIME TO RELEASE HIS LOVE FOR CASSEL IF YOU KNOW WHAT IAM TALKING BOUT.
Posted by: BEEF SUPREME | November 23, 2008 at 02:29 PM
Ginn needs to be back there.
Posted by: Joel | November 23, 2008 at 02:29 PM
Poor Dan Koppen......bad elbow......nasty refs calling a penalty for holding
Posted by: copyright dan dierdorf | November 23, 2008 at 02:30 PM
Coach P cost us a chance at 3 with not having the right personell on the field earlier.
Posted by: Hayden Fox | November 23, 2008 at 02:32 PM
Ginn was open downfield. Amazing. If Pennington holds the more one more millisecond and sees him it is a TD.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 23, 2008 at 02:32 PM
3rd down should be bomb to Ginn, worst case is like a punt
Posted by: sjs | November 23, 2008 at 02:33 PM
What I really hate about Dan Dierdorf is: whenever it's a Pat, it's his own opinion. Welker his favourite returner etc.
But when it's a Fin, it's what Sparano or Parcells thinks. It's that Parcells thinks Long is special, and that Sparano couldn't be happier with Porter's effect.
Dierdorf makes me sick
Posted by: unbelievable | November 23, 2008 at 02:33 PM
Did they steal a second off our game clock?
