The third quarter was not a friend to the Miami Dolphins.
They yielded 14 points as Randy Moss abused Jason Allen. They didn't have a whole lot of cohesion on offense although they did get one TD. And they lost offensive tackle Jake Long to an ankle injury for parts of the quarter.
Long is questionable but he looks like he wants to come back and at least try out the injury on the field.
This is a tough situation for the Dolphins. Join me in the comments section of the blog and we'll see what happens.

Gaffney versus Jason Allen. Oh boy. Long day for #32.

Posted by: BEEF SUPREME | November 23, 2008 at 03:45 PM
There is no way that was defensive pass interference.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 23, 2008 at 03:45 PM
Again, BigLexLuthor... I have no faith in this defense.
Why don't you post something useful?
Posted by: PhilDolphan | November 23, 2008 at 03:45 PM

OK little boys LET'S GET THAT HIGH DRAFT PICK, THIS DEFENSE IS HORRIBLE AND THE JOKE OF THE LEAGUE......
DON'T LET THIS TEAM FOOL YOU, IT ALREADY HAS FOR THE PAST 40 YEARS......
Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 03:47 PM

Posted by: paul | November 23, 2008 at 03:47 PM
Bull crap call!!!! PI on Moss and they call that Goodman???
I will say it again...
Beat the Pats, the NFL, the refs and the media. Make this the most enjoyable win in the last two decades.
Posted by: Hayden Fox | November 23, 2008 at 03:48 PM
would anyone be upset if I just spotted the Pats at least a FG here? it seems pretty automatic today.
Posted by: hurriphin | November 23, 2008 at 03:48 PM
Now plz do share your thoughts on the offense scoring OR not scoring on the ensuing possession, hopefully u get that one right THIS time!
Posted by: BigLexLuthor | November 23, 2008 at 03:48 PM
Doesnt look good but the fact that we are still in the game against NE, even with the scrub Cassell with our secondary (these receivers are open all anytime). Is still a good progress to me. remember...we still cant run when needed, have a shutdown corner or have much of special teams...it will take time but this season is a GREAT start
Posted by: daga-nj | November 23, 2008 at 03:48 PM
Jake Long is going to come back in the game.
Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 03:48 PM
That is BS. Moss totally held him.
Posted by: Ron In Charlotte | November 23, 2008 at 03:48 PM

Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 03:50 PM
Game over.
Posted by: Tony T Bone | November 23, 2008 at 03:50 PM
And New England and Billy's boyz ALWAYS get the call (its like the NFL is sry they had to punish them for cheating so they are making up for it). The constant downfield blocking on those WR screens is illegal but the ref are afraid to flag them
Posted by: daga-nj | November 23, 2008 at 03:50 PM
Paul, don't know if you're trying to be funny or sarcastic. But whatever.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 23, 2008 at 03:50 PM
...oh sorry....was I being too stingy with just a FG?
Posted by: hurriphin | November 23, 2008 at 03:50 PM
Camarillo down with what appears to be a knee injury.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | November 23, 2008 at 03:50 PM
What a crap broadcast.

Pasqualooser reminds of Offoladati under Shula!!!!!!
Posted by: Same crap Dif Season | November 23, 2008 at 03:51 PM
The season is first of all not over. Secondly, we MUST hold them to 3 and the game is still in the balance. Thirdly, what a crap broadcast that a man has a knee injury and CBS goes to a commericial.
Posted by: Hayden Fox | November 23, 2008 at 03:52 PM
we needed Pats to win last week against the Jets so they wouldt be so pissed off this week. Nothing going right lately.
Posted by: Andrew H | November 23, 2008 at 03:52 PM
This defense has lost all our games!!!!!!

Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 03:53 PM
come on we are much improved over last year. i didnt expect to make the playoffs. i don't think this team can compete with jets or pats. but still a much improved season. 4 winable games left. good job coaches.
Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 03:53 PM
I cannot wait for these frauds to play Pittsburgh next week. They will lose and we will beat St. Louis and all is tied again.
In other words, do not give up on this game.

GAMES LIKE THESE SEPERATE THE MEN FROM THE little boys
Posted by: | November 23, 2008 at 03:54 PM
Its good to get back to reality. This team isn't crap and the coaches are not very much better. Chad Pennington is not the answer I am glad he got exposed today. Now I can focus on the holidays instead of these bums. Joey Porter is the only guy who played to win this year. Scrw Bill Parcels.
Posted by: dolphanforlife | November 23, 2008 at 03:54 PM
Bob Kraft is a crook.
Posted by: Hayden Fox | November 23, 2008 at 03:54 PM
