If the young Dolphins are suffering from playoff jitters, they're not showing it.
The Dolphins converted a Baltimore Ravens fumble into a 3-0 advantage when the offense moved the ball pretty well on its first series.
The Ravens, no slouches they, answered with a field goal of their own.
The second quarter will show which of the two teams, if either, can break this tie.

we have life...i think we can win this game

Let's see what Sparano has got - can he make adjustments with a very limited palette at HT?
We get the ball first in the second half.

I CANT BELIEVE IT TOOK US A WHOLE 1ST HALF TO REALIZE TO BLITZ A ROOKIE QB?!

thats the way to end a half!!! the O-line needs to smacked around to wakeup!!!!
Posted by: | January 04, 2009 at 02:28 PM
parcells is waiting in the locker room to give this team a kick in the butt
Posted by: jason | January 04, 2009 at 02:28 PM
Looking a bit bleak right now. No rush and no protection on the O line.
Posted by: Dolfan abroad | January 04, 2009 at 02:28 PM
No play calls to Fasano or Martin - ???
Posted by: Brian | January 04, 2009 at 02:28 PM
GAME OVER. No way we put up any more points on the board...much less 10. We are out-manned and out-gunned. Offense unable to do ANYTHING WHATSOEVER. We barely can run an offensive play and not LOSE yardage on it.
I'm going outside to enjoy the whether. See you next year Phin Fans!

10 quarters without a touchdown-Ronnie touched on the hand off + immediately falls down
Posted by: David | January 04, 2009 at 02:29 PM
ITS OVER FOLKS
see you next year

Break the air conditioning and blow steam into the visitor locker room.
Posted by: darncart | January 04, 2009 at 02:30 PM
The missed TD early and the pick 6 have ended this game. Unless we get 2 such big plays in our favor, its OVER.
Posted by: Andrew H | January 04, 2009 at 02:30 PM
Time to re-group. We get the ball to start the 2nd half. Not all is lost. We need to get Bess back in the game. Ronnie is ineffective, Cobbs and Ricky should handle the running.
Posted by: Dolfan abroad | January 04, 2009 at 02:30 PM
we can still win this-use our secret weapons-max protect + don't let Ronnie touch the ball
Posted by: David | January 04, 2009 at 02:30 PM
I BELIEVE WE CAN BEAT THEM IT ONLY TAKES SOME FAITH GUYS COME ON!!!
Posted by: farrington07 | January 04, 2009 at 02:30 PM
IF ED REED IS GONNA SPY GINN AND WE HAVE NO RECIEVERS ANYWAY, WHY NOT HAVE GINN ON RETURNS? ITS NOT LIKE HE'S BEING USED IN THE OFFENSE.

The interesting thing to me is the mauling that the Ravens O-Line is getting away with. On the last drive, the big pass play to Clayton, the left tackle hooked the d lineman, held him, and then for good measure, tackled him. I guess thats OK. On the other hand, if Chad would be patient, this would be a 3-3 game. Finally, why not give Polite the ball at the goal line for a change. He gets yards. man, give him the ball.

Nice first half, f*ckwads.

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Suck it, homos.

Second half. Bring on Chad Henne if Pennington trows another int. He is the reason right now we are in the playoffs, however he is also the reason we will be out the playoffs is he plays another half like that one. Henne could blow this game apart if he came on. The Ravens have not prepared for that and would be thrown into chaos. Pennington looks like a spent force.

For the half time speach Bring in Parcells, Shula, JJ, Iron Mike Ditka. What ever it takes to get this team going! Our O-line and TE's needs to step it up and help this team today instead of getting pushed around and hurting the team.

OK folks, hang in there. THE THIRD QUARTER POST IS UP. MOVE THE LIVE BLOG THERE, PLEASE.

What does 10 quarters without a TD in postseason have to do with this fins team, coaching staff or front office. Nothing, it is a meaningless stat that simply is spouted by the commentators to show they studied for the game. What a useless thought.

our o needs to block
our dbs need to play closer man to man
better play calling
spread the ball to the TEs
more pressure on FLacco
we' ve held them to 49 yds on 15 carries
the pass is killing us from a rookie

Ball control - Bess, Fasano, Martin .. We can still win this!
Posted by: Brian | January 04, 2009 at 02:34 PM
chad henne anyone?lets try the other chad next half and see how that works.
Posted by: HENNE | January 04, 2009 at 02:35 PM
Game is almost an exact replica of first game. We score first in both. Ravens scored defensive TD to take lead in both. Ravens score late to take 2 score lead at half in both. We can only hope we have a chance in 4th Qtr to tie the game as we did in the first game. Major difference is that our offense moved the ball in first game and is currently playing scared.

WE ARE YOUNG ON THE O LINE.
WE ARE YOUNG AT WR.
Dfence needs help in spots.
If we lose lets look ahead.
WE HAD A GREAT SEASON...
KEEP THE FAITH

Henne will be warming up guaranteed. Pennington should never have thrown in Reeds direction. Ginn must have shown Pennington by now that he will win about 20 % of his jump ball battles. He is no Randy Moss and the sooner he is gone and we have a true number one WR the quick we will be a championship team. Ginn is a goner. Get the ball to Fasano, Martin, Cobbs, Bess and Ricky. More Polite in the second half, the guy is a force when he has the ball in the running game.
