Bill Parcells spoke to New York Daily News columnist Gary Myers Friday and, in his most definitive statement about his situation with the Dolphins following the team's sale to Stephen Ross, finally made it clear he intends to remain with the Miami Dolphins in 2009.
"My intention is to do what I've been doing," he said. "I think we will have ample time to figure each other out. I'm very optimistic. I've had two or three meetings with Steve Ross and he seems to be a guy who wants to do things the right way. There will be a period of adjustment. He's got to find out about the business. We are going to try and make things work. I'm not doing this forever."
Parcells, who has a clause in his contract that stipulates he can walk away from the Dolphins in the next 25 days and still collect the entirety of his contract's $9-$12 million still to be paid, also dismissed the notion he wants to rework the deal in exchange for not exercising the stipulation.
"I will never take another dollar from the Dolphins other than what I am earning," he said. "I'm not trying to leverage anything. I got more money than I can spend now."
This is great news for Miami and its fans.

Well kids its really a sad tale that can be traced back to 1992, joe robbies son( we'll call him scum bag#1) sold the fish to wayne(scum bag #2) huizanger, which brought about the demise of the greatest coach ever. s.b.# 2 brought in jimmy johnson, not a bad choice until he designated dave(scum bag #3)wanstadt as his succsessor. s.c# 2 not knowing anything except "please rewind or we'll charge you $5.00) and garbage said thats great( not knowing that s.b.#3 killed the once proud bears team) so s.c took over for j.j in 2000 and brought the fins to an all time low untill he was let go in 04 after taking a plyoff team and making them a laughing stock of the nfl.next the garbageman/video guy brought in nick(scum bag #4)sabin, he had moderate success and left the team high and dry(like m@@cs wife) and next came cam(scumbag#5)camroon who built a impressvive 1-15 record bringing the fish to a even lower level(some say 76 bucs level but thats for historians to debate) finally the fish landed the tuna, will look what the mans done , from 1-15 to 11-5 enough said, will kids i hope this story will put you to sleep because writing it has almost put me to sleep, and with that i wish you all a good nite....

The morale of the story kids is dont worry about 1 scumbag, it takes a collection of scumbags to bring a demise of something.... Just look to wall street...

Armando and all you guys need to remember one thing....Bill Parcells last year said he would not trade Jason Taylor, but then he did so. Parcells is a proven liar, so please do not trust him.
