Dolphins-Jags live blog starts here and now

I don't know about you, but I've been waiting for this moment since the clock ran out on that playoff game against Baltimore last January.

Yeah, I know it's only preseason. But it's our preseason darnit!

By the way, Davone Bess is in the starting lineup ahead of Greg Camarillo. Shawn Murphy will open at RG. Rookie Sean Smith will open at RCB. and Jason Ferguson, who may only get a series or two, is expected to start nonetheless. Randy Starks starts at RDE for the Dolphins.

Matt Roth is the only scratch for Miami. WR Mike Walker, WR Maurice Dupree, DB Don Carey, FB Montell Owens, CB Scott Starks, WR Mike Thomas and DT Jonathan Lewis are scratches for Jacksonville.

The Dolphins are wearing their aqua tops and white pants. The Jags are going with their white tops and black pants.

And all the noise you've heard about JLo and Marc Anthony and Gloria Estefan and Jimmy Buffett this offseason? Haven't seen any of them on the field prior to the game.

disagree - vontae's penalty kept Jags from being pinned deep!

Holy speed batman!

That was a redemption run?

damn! Williams could have made up for his two mistakes by beating scobee on that one

Chris Williams with a 37 yard return. But kicker rides him out of bounds.

That will get him ripped more in the locker room than the muff or almost running into a safety.

Keep Allen, Smith, Davis, Allen, Jones...

C. Williams isn't going ANYWHERE!

I see SUCH potential as a kick off returner.

The eyes DOES NOT lie. :P

I want to see Henne throw the ball in game situations. That's ALL I care about here. I do not care about anything else here.

Henne must throw the ball!

they are partially on green but Davis got the 15 yrd penalty to start the drive. Agreed Green looks like the rookie

sean smith didn't get tested much. do you think its because of lack of game planning on jags or excellent coverage by smith? he has all the tools i am really excited about him!

Green won't be the starter watch if he keeps playing like he did

Everyone tell me their opinion of Ted Ginn's play so far...

Anybody know what website I can listen to the game??????

Ricky Williams looks huge...

I'm not laughing. I'll take Jason Allen over Green anyday, just like him over Betty Crocker las year. Tired of this veteran swagger crap. Play the young guys if they are better: like smith getting the nod

Why is Ricky in the game?

Mando, is Clemons #30? Long dreads?

Yes. Clemens is 30.

By the way, the first-team OL is still in the game and Thomas is getting his reps with the unit this drive. he and Murphy seem to be alternating.

wow the safeties bit on that last run, we should have play actioned that mother!

Yeah he does.

go to channelsurfing.net and go down until you see the fins and jags game and you can watch streamin video on ur comp its awesome.

Yup, Clemons #30 in the dreds.

ummm, they bit because it WAS a run?

I want to see henne deep to ginn or turner.

I love how they are handling Pat White - bring him along as a QB to learn the basics (after all, he is the #3 and needs to be ready), but we all know that they are working him in the Wildcat at WR and probably in the shotgun backfield when they're practicing in the bubble. Just watching shows that this Trifecta knows what they are doing and they invested a high 2nd round pick on this kid.

nah, they bit b4 the ball was even handed off, they were chaeting down.

Henne throws pass into triple coverage. Not too good.

horrible throw by henne...that was ugly

Miscommunication ?

Is he trying to kill our recievers?

And then Henne fires a ROPE to Hartline on the left sideline and it shows you why the Dolphins love his arm.

Brian Hartlinr with the comeback. Good recovery

good hookup .... plenty of time for that throw

How did the pass look?

Henne with another rope -- even throwing off his back foot while getting hit -- to David Martin.

That was a grown-up's throw Yeahhhhh!

getting close to turner territory!! lets see that jump ball

I don't know about you guys... I LOVE LOUSAKA

Want to see Pat Turner in the red zone.

Henne is looking real good!!!

cool. And Henne goes to Pat Turner. third down.

Turner! He looks huge.

you ask for it, you get it

10 yard reception by turner

OL is looking fine!!

Oh, Rickey, welcome back to prominence!

Ricky fighting hard!!!

Corner shot!

so is ricky

turner, thats our plaxico w/o the tech 9 in his pocket.

ricky wants it 2nite!

tough run by ricky to get first down!!! looking strong. i predict next play is lob to turner!

Lots of good individual efforts on this drive. Polite, O line, Ricky

Olin should look great. That's Jacksonville's second unit while Miami still has starters in.

go to turner here thats why we got him.
