This is where it's going to happen.
The live blog will begin here from Land Shark Stadium at 7:30 p.m. as the Dolphins meet the Carolina Panthers.
As you know, Jason Allen and Sean Smith have the sniffles so they are not playing.
Brian Hartline will start tonight for Davone Bess. Bess is not among the sick players as he is dressed. Vontae Davis will start for Sean Smith and Dolphins Thomas is starting at right guard for Shawn Murphy, who started last week and lost his starting job.

LEX POWER

Our defense looks a lot better this year with the new additions and some quality depth. If the offense can control the clock and get them enough rest during the season, our team may have a better season than we expect.
Posted by: Account Deleted | August 22, 2009 at 09:46 PM
That is a stupid call.
Posted by: Hayden Fox | August 22, 2009 at 09:46 PM

DOLPHINS LOOK NASTY GOOD
Posted by: Gopats | August 22, 2009 at 09:46 PM
Nyscott. hilliard would have to clear waivers to be put on The PS. some team will surely grab him.
Posted by: NJ PHIN FAN | August 22, 2009 at 09:47 PM
Jersey you still here? I know you know the answer to this question, what's the deal? "If Lex gets put on the practice squad can another team claim him"?
I can't remember how that works but I think that's the case and I can't see him flying under the radar again this year.
Posted by: Account Deleted | August 22, 2009 at 09:48 PM
Let hillard return kicks and be the 4th RB!
Posted by: Lips | August 22, 2009 at 09:48 PM
Hilliard is going to make this team. No doubt.
Posted by: Fin Fan | August 22, 2009 at 09:48 PM

Posted by: phinfan from birth73 | August 22, 2009 at 09:49 PM
Thanks Jersey, that's what I thought.
Posted by: Account Deleted | August 22, 2009 at 09:49 PM
Dolfans have voted. The old style Dolphins fight song is being applauded. Crowd likes this one over T-Pain.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | August 22, 2009 at 09:50 PM
I wonder if we could experiment with Hilliard on kick off returns so he could make the team as a special teamer. I would hate to lose him.
Posted by: Fin Fan | August 22, 2009 at 09:51 PM
jus gotta keep playing(song) it both of them dry as hell though
Posted by: phinfan from birth73 | August 22, 2009 at 09:51 PM
In the total "who's watching that?" department, am i the only one who thinks Kowalewski is looking sweet at the fullback position? He may be a real find
Posted by: MIAinBFLO | August 22, 2009 at 09:51 PM
MOST OF NJ PHIN VIEWS ABOUT YOUNG PLAYERS CAME TRUE SO FAR.
Posted by: Gopats | August 22, 2009 at 09:51 PM
what about cutting that fullback we sign not long ago? let hilliard take his spot then we don't need ta worry bout losing him.
Posted by: sammo | August 22, 2009 at 09:52 PM
How can you cut Hilliard?
Posted by: Super Scout | August 22, 2009 at 09:52 PM

Posted by: Gopats | August 22, 2009 at 09:59 PM
You know, worse comes to worse, we can go with Lou Polite as our only fullback and use a tight end as a backup fullback.
Posted by: Fin Fan | August 22, 2009 at 09:59 PM
Vontae with lockdown coverage. Gotta love it. Forcing the field goal.

One big disappointment for me tonight is that Ted Ginn had only one pass thrown his way. One.
Last week they seemed to feature him. tonight, nothing.
He did not catch a pass.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | August 22, 2009 at 10:04 PM
Moses is going to lead us to the promise land NJ Phin. Moses will be on Randy like Moss.
Posted by: Fin Fan | August 22, 2009 at 10:04 PM

Posted by: phinfan from birth73 | August 22, 2009 at 10:04 PM
Anyone know any good sites to watch the fins on the PC?
Posted by: Dishpan | August 22, 2009 at 10:05 PM

Sorry I meant Henne backers! Stupid autocorrect
Posted by: Dolfandad | August 22, 2009 at 10:08 PM
Another game and Henne hasn't shown much again
Posted by: Ampd | August 22, 2009 at 10:08 PM
There you go menace, they're looking for someone to sing acapella at the games.
Posted by: NJ PHIN FAN | August 22, 2009 at 10:08 PM
yes i am a pat fan but i always love to see the tuna taking the under dog team and the young players to a super bowl . no thing is better in football.
PS, this team has core of new players who love each ,you can tell that very easy even the names are made for stars;
WAKE
VONTE
SMITH
MOSS
GINN......
Posted by: Gopats | August 22, 2009 at 10:09 PM
man did anybody remember that wildcat play where ronnie faked to rickie and did a pivot or spin faking the ball before he took off, i can see pat white doing the same thing but instead throwing it
Posted by: phinfan from birth73 | August 22, 2009 at 10:09 PM
our "scrub" pass rushers look like anything but scrubs tonight
Posted by: Catch22NM | August 22, 2009 at 10:10 PM
MOSES.....I WRITE LIKE A DUMBO
Posted by: Gopats | August 22, 2009 at 10:10 PM
Dolfandad, I totally agree with you. This is the second game and there hasn't been a spark of greatness.
Posted by: Ampd | August 22, 2009 at 10:10 PM
Henne's starting to really concern me......showing nuttin.
Posted by: Vic Damoan | August 22, 2009 at 10:10 PM
We are looking very solid at the linebacker position and it would be even more solid if Roth would get healthy.
Posted by: Fin Fan | August 22, 2009 at 10:12 PM
I think Henne Is trying to show that he can make smart decisions after throwing a pick last week.
