Well, the Dolphins offense picked up where it left off Monday night, keeping the ball, driving the ball, and not scoring TDs.
The Dolphins drove from their own 2 yard line to the San Diego 1 yard line in the first quarter and didn't score.
A fumble went out of the end zone, resulting in a touchback for the Chargers.
So we were locked up at 0-0. But the Chargers then went on a 73 yard drive and got a FG from Nate Kaeding to take a 3-0 lead.

Hey finfan. 3-0. Read it and weep. 0-3 typical dolphin start.

Are you kidding me!?!? 3rd and 2 and you throw it SHORTER THAN 2?!
Posted by: Marc | September 27, 2009 at 04:56 PM
Great job CP10. Love your accuracy on all the <5 yard passes.

Jesus that was lame.
Posted by: scurrilous | September 27, 2009 at 04:56 PM
What was that play call? Doesn't that play need to go beyond the sticks?
Posted by: Hayden Fox | September 27, 2009 at 04:56 PM
smh why not throw the ball beyond the first down marker.
Posted by: miateamsfan | September 27, 2009 at 04:57 PM
Cobbs was open on the slant and Pennington went to Bess.
Miami's last 3 and out before this one was the penultimate drive vs. Atlanta.

WHY DOES CHAD EVEN THROW THE BALL SHORT OF THE FIRST DOWN MARKER ON 3RD DOWN!!!!!! ROOKIE MISTAKE MORON!!!
Posted by: ziggy | September 27, 2009 at 04:57 PM
The Chargers have no problem using their starting RB on returns but we don't want to use our starting WR?
Posted by: Joel | September 27, 2009 at 04:57 PM
well......one fumble, and we've retreated into our shell.
coming next series.....a pass that could actually gain a first down if caught!!!
Call your friends & family.

its like one bad play and the dolphins just completely lose all momentum and give up. come on last year they had to fight til the end everygame. I at least want to see heart if im not gonna see wins

In watching the Dolphins Chargers game from 94, I really really really missed having a QB with a quick release and a gun of an arm. Man, I miss Marino.
Posted by: Lips | September 27, 2009 at 04:58 PM
Chargers coming out with multiple receivers for this drive. So Dolphins take out Ayodele and Merling and bring in Nate Jones and Culver.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 27, 2009 at 04:58 PM
0-2 worked for us last year? Oh yea jetfan (didn't know they had any) where did that leave the Jets after our 0-2 last year? Same place they will end up this year.

Sweet another example of Chad P. reading his reads in reverse. Lets start in the backfield and work our way up field. Oh and another open receiver missed for his check down...

Joel, Ginn only falls down or runs out of bounds. Cobbs is better.

I recall Teddy returning a few punts for TD's...I think only one or 2 stuck, but, I haven't seen anyone else on the team come close

Wow salguero who uses penultimate ? What a geek.
Posted by: Jets4life | September 27, 2009 at 04:59 PM
Take the damn ball away!!!!
Posted by: Hayden Fox | September 27, 2009 at 04:59 PM
Channing Crowder covering Darren Sproles is a complete mismatch. I'm surprised Norv Turner hasn't exploited it more.
