Well, the Dolphins offense picked up where it left off Monday night, keeping the ball, driving the ball, and not scoring TDs.
The Dolphins drove from their own 2 yard line to the San Diego 1 yard line in the first quarter and didn't score.
A fumble went out of the end zone, resulting in a touchback for the Chargers.
So we were locked up at 0-0. But the Chargers then went on a 73 yard drive and got a FG from Nate Kaeding to take a 3-0 lead.

Why would he not be excited? It is a win for the defense.

Is this what they call a defensive battle or an offensive struggle? What a barn burner!

what we proved in the first half is we have fixed some of the problems from last week. We have more pressure but need more. Still have linebacker coverage problems. We don't have new players so all we can ask is the ones we have play better and they have. Next half we need to ignite the offense
Posted by: finfan23 | September 27, 2009 at 05:27 PM
Offense needs to get a mentality of scoring touchdowns..Our defense cannot carry us through the season with the personnel they have out there. At least they are getting pressure on the qb so they are not getting exposed.
Posted by: miateamsfan | September 27, 2009 at 05:28 PM
We are making progress
We need more wildcat in second half
Go Dolphins

Sparano wasn't cheering the missed FG, he was cheering halftime.
Now he gets to go back to the locker room and have a sandwich.

To CP Haters: He is NOT the one losing us this game (or the last). You can only blame the terrible coaching or the shoddy D.

Professional athletes and they keep falling!

Nat Moore says coaching has faith in offensive line. Nat says once inside5 yard line, more in the gap so as they are trying to get to linebacker, they beat the block ,and he's in the backfield. Nat says halftime is about analyzing what they are doing down there so next time you can hit them in the mouth and score the touchdown

What's the deal with Cameron Wake? He can't get on field? Why did we sign this guy?
Posted by: Jaythefin | September 27, 2009 at 05:33 PM
ronnie had 50 yards in first QUARTER and only 8 in the second with only a couple touches . We better come out with that same plan and intensity we had in the first. Ronnie is in his groove

Hey phil76 don't worry about me. Worry about yourself. You are just like Jets4life. A-hole.
Posted by: CarlosVP | September 27, 2009 at 05:34 PM
Why not go w/ the WC in the RZ and 50% of the other plays UNTIL anybody stops it? Just make CP player/coach. This offense is schizoid.

Need more play action in the red zone. This is where Fasano needs to return to form, and we should have Camarillo, Hartline, and/or Bess in the game.

Pennington is hurt; put in White or Henne. I don't care, just do it!
Posted by: FB | September 27, 2009 at 05:43 PM
Put in Henne. Why dont they throw the ball more than 15 yards. and Jake Long is always on the ground LONG = BUST!

I feel like slapping our play callers. They're disgusting.
Posted by: FB | September 27, 2009 at 05:59 PM
Say, how long do you think we're going to keep SD's offense in check? The answer will come very soon. Watch!
Posted by: FB | September 27, 2009 at 06:02 PM
They should put White in the shotgun and let him make plays. Unchain the freakin' players dude! This guy can make plays but he can't be worried about every step he makes. It's not all about "Smart, tough, discipline" Enough already!

Please see post above!
Posted by: FB | September 27, 2009 at 06:04 PM
like how are defense steps up when it counts like the drive right after our team takes a lead in a game !!! It hurts watching this !! Time for Henne to earn his money amd the starting job..
Posted by: philm | September 27, 2009 at 06:09 PM
we blow its like anything goes wrong and they pout like a bunch off little kids and mess up everything !! 2nd and 15 and we run it into a wall so our inexperienced QB can get teed off on on 3rd down .. wow we dont give ourselves a chance to win doing these bum things..
Posted by: philm | September 27, 2009 at 06:19 PM
I was writing that our defense will give up the big play now and we will be done and it happened
Posted by: philm | September 27, 2009 at 06:21 PM
our secondary is getting toasted and these receivers aren't even fast....loooooong year of giving up big plays and hoping some of our guys learn how to make a few here and there...UGH
Posted by: dagaNJ | September 27, 2009 at 06:26 PM
Ginn blows he cant catch
Posted by: philm | September 27, 2009 at 06:28 PM
Cant teach hands and he has NONE...he catches everything with his body. They need to stop forcing throws to him..
Posted by: dagaNJ | September 27, 2009 at 06:32 PM
Lets bench ginn put Hartline in and throw every down until we learn how !! We have a good running game just not everydown !! Then when we get the passing game down we can start winning some ball games .. Henne is going to be good foe this team.. He needs to play though..
Posted by: philm | September 27, 2009 at 06:33 PM
NOW HENNE NEEDS TO BE IN THE SHOTGUN THROWING, SINCE WE ARE DOWN 10PTS WITH 7MIN TO GO.
Posted by: GetterDone Phins | September 27, 2009 at 06:43 PM
they are not letting Henne throw down the field so the chargers are just sitting on all the underneath routes....thats on Tony!!! If you put him in LET HIM PLAY!...
Posted by: dagaNJ | September 27, 2009 at 06:46 PM
NICE WORK HENNE...YOU SURE YOU'VE HAD 2 YRS TO BE GROOMED...HE LOOKS WORSE THAN A 1ST YR ROOKIE WITH THAT PICK 6.
Posted by: GetterDone Phins | September 27, 2009 at 06:46 PM
THAT'S THE BALL GAME! NICE WORK TONY AND DAN HENNING. YOU REALLY PREPARED THIS TEAM WELL.
Posted by: GetterDone Phins | September 27, 2009 at 06:48 PM
you cant play scared in the NFL.. and you cant win when the defense cant cover WR OR make big plays....said it before its going to be a looooooooooong year. hopefully they will be able to see who cant play and get these rookies some time and keep on the rebuilding as the schedule only gets worse.
