The Dolphins are losing 10-0 at halftime. The offense that suffered only 13 turnovers all of 2008 has two turnovers already this season.
And that offensive line that cost $156 million has plowed the Falcons aside to the tune of only 38 rushing yards.
Pat White participated in three spread offense plays -- one of which was an overthrow to a wide open Ted Ginn Jr.
The live blog continues in the comments section below.

Get Pennington out of the game, he looks scared and confused. Put in Henne or even Pat White. This game looks worse than the first two last year. Is that what we've worked hard all off season for? Where the heck is the game preparation?
Did they think they were playing against a pop warner team?

Can someone in the South Florida media write a story this week about Parcells blowing the number one overall pick in 2008 draft?
By the way...SC's Sam Baker is having a whale of a game at LT today...their 2008 2nd round pick.
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 02:49 PM
I need another Corona... never mind make that 3. This Offense is offensive! WTF is up with our O line getting punked today???

Posted by: FB | September 13, 2009 at 02:50 PM
Have to watch this and be Heckled by a dude from the A-team.
Posted by: Po White Trash | September 13, 2009 at 02:50 PM
Why can we not hit on draft picks? seriously we have had teh worst picks in the league for 10 years plus. No playmakers anywhere on this roster just a lot of gutless terds
Posted by: ziggy | September 13, 2009 at 02:50 PM
Cannot say Long's struggles have surprised. He had a difficult time in preseason as you guys that read the blog everyday would know.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 13, 2009 at 02:50 PM
Mandy. You see this team constantly. You couldn't have warned us that they were still terrible? Better yet. Tell Parcells that Penny is terrible and I want to punch him. Thanks
Posted by: Marc | September 13, 2009 at 02:50 PM
I told everyone here that today was a referendum on Parcells' decision making and he looks bad...Call it as you see it.
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 02:50 PM
Turner is eventually going to break one.

Posted by: finfan23 | September 13, 2009 at 02:51 PM
Merling is having a day. Lets get some more kids in there who want to play.
Posted by: TorturedDolphan | September 13, 2009 at 02:51 PM
you morons finally need to look your self in the mirror and say I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL, AND NOW I KNOW WHY WE SHOULD NOT SIGN MEDIOCRE SCRUB FREE AGENTS, and maybe we do need to sign TOP NOTCH/PLAYMAKING ALL PRO'S.......
BUT NO I'M A RETARD AND I DON'T WANT THE SALARY CAP TO BE MESSED UP
Posted by: hannibal | September 13, 2009 at 02:51 PM
Phillip Merling is playing great today. Probably he, JT and Camarillo the only bright spots so far.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 13, 2009 at 02:51 PM
merling!!!!
Posted by: LOL | September 13, 2009 at 02:51 PM
Go Merling. A brite spot
Posted by: Po White Trash | September 13, 2009 at 02:52 PM
BTW---the Jets are crushing the Texans in Houston......what was it you all said about a rookie quarterback on the road?
and we've got a veteran on the road & are stinking out loud.
Posted by: Panic Central | September 13, 2009 at 02:52 PM
Phillip Merling has had a whale of a game, but the Trifecta hates his practice habits. Nice assessment.
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 02:52 PM
absolutely pathetic performance by this offense--but we knew this going in. We need a game breaking WR. Of course, an OL that that actually blocks someone would help
Posted by: Big I | September 13, 2009 at 02:52 PM
Sad Offense
Posted by: Z | September 13, 2009 at 02:52 PM
Good 3 and out by the D
Posted by: Joel | September 13, 2009 at 02:52 PM
Another 3rd and long, they've converted the last couple , let's hope we've learnt something
Posted by: Dol-Fan UK | September 13, 2009 at 02:52 PM
D-line looks good
O-line and offence as a whole needs alot of work
Soiled :)
Posted by: SoiledBottom | September 13, 2009 at 02:52 PM
Fasano's fumble lost the game IMO
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 02:53 PM
Sam baker just got beat for a sack... so much for that whale of a game!
Posted by: azfin | September 13, 2009 at 02:53 PM
ok, bring out the cat, shake things up
Posted by: Z | September 13, 2009 at 02:53 PM
Chads got his game face on wandering the sideline. We need to score a touchdown this drive! Jake better remember last year and get it done! blow open those holes and lets go!
Posted by: finfan23 | September 13, 2009 at 02:53 PM
that is a great point, Pound. Where is Patrick Cobbs? He could be a spark.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 13, 2009 at 02:54 PM
anyone know where to watch online?
Posted by: A dolfan | September 13, 2009 at 02:54 PM
Sark--
you are on fire...figures that merling, ridiculed by the practice-obsessed trifecta, is having a great game.....and the polls are about to close on the Referendum, and it looks like a landslide for Should-have-drafted-Ryan.
Posted by: Panic Central | September 13, 2009 at 02:54 PM
Give the ball to Ricky!
Posted by: Andrew H | September 13, 2009 at 02:54 PM
Sparano was worried about the o-line, he was right.
Posted by: Joel | September 13, 2009 at 02:54 PM
why is marvin harrison still available out there whiule we have morons out there who cant run routes to save their lives?
Posted by: ziggy | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
Wonder if the coaches will just adjust to the fact that Merling's a Sunday kind of guy...
Posted by: twitter.com/DavidJNeal | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
Our D. is doing a great job its the poor passing game !!! Stack the line and stop the run and make the Fins beat us through the air.. To hold this High powered attack to a single touchdown is making a statement. We have to pass the ball to set up the run.. Can anybody say wildcat !
Posted by: philm | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
Are you serious Azfin? Long has been brutal today...don't go there.
By the way, Ryan would be the QB for us.
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
whats that stink in the building. oh its just the offense returning to the field
Posted by: LOL | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM

Need to get some points here! enough of this BS already!
Posted by: azfin | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
No point having a sterling defence without any offensive threat
Posted by: Dol-Fan UK | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
offensive line is getting obliterated.
Posted by: Eric | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
Falcons D, supposedly their weakness looks great
Posted by: Z | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
O-line = MIA
Posted by: Po White Trash | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
The left side of the o-line can't hold a block.
Posted by: Joel | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
WELL IN CASE YOU BOZOS don't forget LONG should be a RIGHT TACKLE CAN YOU SAY RIGHT TACKLE......GOOD
Posted by: HANNIBAL | September 13, 2009 at 02:55 PM
Oh yeah hannibal brilliant. What use is being under the salary cap if your team sucks for a complete Decade! Idiot!
Posted by: dolphanforlife | September 13, 2009 at 02:56 PM
Jake Long is a bust!!!!!
Posted by: miami71 | September 13, 2009 at 02:56 PM
The majority of you disgust me. Such fair weather fans...it's ridiculous.
Last year: "THE TUNA IS GOD! CP IS GOD! OMG WE ARE SO GOOD!"
This year: "OMG WTF OUR TEAM IS TERRIBLE! FIRE EVERYBODY! WHY DIDN'T WE DRAFT ALL THESE OTHER GUYS?!?!?!"
Shut up. Watch the games. Get some perspective on everything. We weren't as good as our record indicated last year. We are still rebuilding.
Posted by: I've stopped following these blogs due to whining | September 13, 2009 at 02:56 PM
Really need a TD here to have a good chance in this game.
Posted by: Andrew H | September 13, 2009 at 02:57 PM
Do I remember at the start of the game the media kept saying the Atlanta defense was bad? Either they are the 86 Bears or we are that bad...I know what the answer is.
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 02:57 PM
give up on the running game folks!!!!!
Posted by: ziggy | September 13, 2009 at 02:57 PM
its still in the third quarter and we're only down by 10, give it a chance guys!!
Posted by: A dolfan | September 13, 2009 at 02:57 PM
I like Ricky's legs today.
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 02:58 PM
We have seen some pathetic performances in the past few years by the Miami O, but this has to take the cake. 2/3 of the way through the 3rd quarter and we only have 11 runs? WTF??? Run the freaking ball!!!
Posted by: TorturedDolphan | September 13, 2009 at 02:58 PM
ricky looks more explosive than brown
