The Dolphins are losing 10-0 at halftime. The offense that suffered only 13 turnovers all of 2008 has two turnovers already this season.
And that offensive line that cost $156 million has plowed the Falcons aside to the tune of only 38 rushing yards.
Pat White participated in three spread offense plays -- one of which was an overthrow to a wide open Ted Ginn Jr.

At least Henne can come in the 4th Q and gets some points on the board like last year at Arizona

go to hell hannibal!
Posted by: azfin | September 13, 2009 at 03:06 PM
Forget about scared confused, it's time to move on. How long are we going to wait? Get him out of the game right now. Anything, I mean anything is better that this. It's too late for a come back now.
Posted by: FB | September 13, 2009 at 03:07 PM

WTF IS GOING ON?
Posted by: PMTamayo | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
OK Sparano, want to tell us about your decision to put Henne on the inactive list? Oh yeah, I forgot, White and the cat.
Posted by: cocoajoe | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
now we will see what kind of character we have. Are we giving up or fighting to the end. We never gave up last year but i am feeling we are in this game. Not a good sign. Seems like same thing against jax in the playoffs. Aggressive teams intimidate us. Maybe we can take a knee on kickoffs
Posted by: finfan23 | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
We are beating ourselves with the damn turnovers. This is a disapointing game for sure.
Posted by: Knight | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
Looks like the team has quit.
Posted by: Po White Trash | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
Dierdorf on his knees for Gonzalez
Posted by: Joel | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
Legit question:
Chad Henne is the third QB. he can play in the fourth quarter. Do you as the coach put him in the game ahead of Pennington?
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
I just accidently put 5 shotgun shells in my TV
Soiled :)

first down....woo hoo!
Posted by: Panic Central | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
Why didn't we go after Gonzalez? I know we have Joey Haynos, but just saying...
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
Either the falcons are the next Patriots or we really suck! I don't know how else to look at this...And this is when Brown wakes up. Congrats!
Posted by: FB | September 13, 2009 at 03:08 PM
Bell's missed tackle is the difference between a FG & TD . Fins are killing themselves. TO do not win games!!
Posted by: BKNYFINFAN | September 13, 2009 at 03:09 PM
oH COME ON FASANO!
Posted by: finfan23 | September 13, 2009 at 03:09 PM
Fasano won't be getting an extension if he keeps fumbling.
Posted by: Joel | September 13, 2009 at 03:09 PM
Complete meltdown.......
Posted by: Richard3000 | September 13, 2009 at 03:09 PM
Lets face it YB looks like an average NFL scrub! Need to address the SS position during next years draft and we also need to look for some real WR's.
Posted by: azfin | September 13, 2009 at 03:10 PM
Terrible day for Anthony Fasano. Second fumble of the day.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 13, 2009 at 03:10 PM
Anyone else think Fasano is getting cut?
Come on - hold on to the g*d damn ball!

Phins need to scratch the trickery until they get the fundamentals down.
Posted by: Joel | September 13, 2009 at 03:11 PM
Why don't we go after some good offensive players
Posted by: Ericbam | September 13, 2009 at 03:11 PM
Well, this only an NFC game. Doesn't hurt our division or AFC conference record. We only made it last year because we lost to AZ (but beat SD) while Pats beat AZ but lost to SD. These lil things can come to matter a lot later.
Posted by: Andrew H | September 13, 2009 at 03:11 PM
I would like to tell all the Dolphin fans who continuosly stick by the picking Jake Long over Matt Ryan. YOU ARE STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: miami71 | September 13, 2009 at 03:11 PM
Is Fascano a veteran?
Posted by: Rosieprieto | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
I wanna puke!
Posted by: Standley23 | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
Hey Parcells, what do you think of that??????????????????
I think we're fighting hard out there...And the worst of all, Fasano doesn't even look fazed by any of this. You'd think he has 100 yds already. No emotion on his face.
Keep it up Phins, this is what we waited 8 months for.
Posted by: FB | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
What is wrong with fasano?
Posted by: Zach | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
The defense looks like it's fighting.
The look on the faces of the offensive players when they've come off the field the past two possessions says they are over their head. They don't seem to know how to overcome the adversity.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
Time to put in Henne. He's the only chance. We need someone who can throw it 50 yards downfield. Then we can pray he doesn't make mistakes. But chad's arm isn't going to do that for us
Posted by: finfan23 | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
Answer: Henne
Posted by: cocoajoe | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
Loving that Jake Long pick. How much are we payin for that offensive line, they look to be worth maybe 25 cents. Looking like a long maybe 4 win season right now.
Posted by: stevenj | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
It's only the first game , let's keep saying that untill next week
Posted by: nposada | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
Sad just sad.
Posted by: Brett144 | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
WE NEED THE SAME THING WE'VE NEEDED FOR OVER A DECADE....A QUARTERBACK!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: Marc | September 13, 2009 at 03:12 PM
im actually laughing a lot right now. this is priceless, even Jacksonville and Tampa look better than we do today. Chad and Fasano 2 turnovers each!! Let the Henne era begin next week and let Fasano hang on the practice squad for a few weeks

Do you think Dierdorf likes Gonzalez or Tom Brady better?
Posted by: Sark | September 13, 2009 at 03:13 PM
This team is THE same. Gimmicky offense and MUST play mistake free too even keep it close.
Now, we have to listen to Sparano's obvious turnover ratio/winning % stats...
Merling played well.

THIS IS THE DOLPHINS I KNOW AND LOVE.
Posted by: S | September 13, 2009 at 03:14 PM
our poor Defense !!! Henne will be coming in to protect Chad P.
Posted by: philm | September 13, 2009 at 03:15 PM
Oh, but to answer your question Mandy. I would start my crippled colleague ahead of Pennington
Posted by: Marc | September 13, 2009 at 03:15 PM
attn folks its the 4th quarter which means that we can put Henne in!!!!!!!! Hes teh 3rd string emergency qb and he is eligible in the 4th provided we dont let white or noodle arm back in
Posted by: ziggy | September 13, 2009 at 03:15 PM
The clue should have been the poor performance by ALL units in ALL of the preseason games.
