Can Sanchise survive at the Meadowlands?

Please note the time of this post. The Jets and Bills are still in the first quarter of their 4 p.m. game.

And I predict Mark Sanchez will struggle today.

Why?

Well, my prediction is based on what I've heard from more than one NFL personnel guy. Mark Sanchez is solid, he is likely going to be just fine as a quarterback as long as the weather is good or he's playing inside a dome.

But in the Meadowlands? With the winds blowing? In the dead of winter's snow or rain?

The NFL folks tell me he's not equipped for that kind of weather.

Now, the winds are apparently blowing at Giants Stadium today. We'll see if the NFL folks are right or not.

Check back after the game for the results.

[Update: The game is over and in his first bad-weather game at the Meadowlands, Sanchez completed 10 of 29 passes for 119 yards with 5 interceptions. The Jets lost a game in which they rushed for 318 yards. Buffalo wins, 16-13 in overtime.]

That's all I got to say about that.

If Brady throws another touchdown, the Titans should be demoted to UFL or whatever that new league is called

Dirty Sanchez. Not equipped for this.

Brady is done for today

Well I think its pretty obvious the Dolphins weakest link is the secondary. EVERY single week we get beat for at least 1-2 deep balls. And is it just me or are we ALWAYS just a step late back there? Who would have thought Oakland actually knew what they were doing with Gibril Wilson? Of course pass defense goes hand in hand with the pass rush. JT needs to realize he can't get by on quickness anymore. I'm sick of seeing him just try to speed rush around the tackle. Anyway, looking ahead to next week I don't see any scenario where we win the game. Brees should be salivating at the thought of playing our defense.

Way they are talking on Jets radio, Kris Jenkins might be done for year...huge loss if that's true

another pick for sanchito

Sanchez picked for 3rd time !!?!

Let's all be honest here, Sanchez really doesn't have the tools to thrive past October as a Jets QB. He just isn't, and that's just dandy.

By the way Mando, I guess we should be hoping for inclement weather in 2 weeks? Whats the "inside scoop" on Henne? How does he handle the elements?

Can't wait for Jets fans to turn on Sanchito like they did on Pennington

This is why Belecheck is so hated...cmon 58-0 and Brady still in??? No class

Calvin Pace....it's interesting how guys like, Merriman and Pace, get games off for using roids, and then don't come back and play at the same level of performance. That would be an interesting article for someone like ummm, maybe Mando!

Henne played at Michigan. I think he can handle the cold weather pretty good.

Sanchise is BAAAAADDDDD! 5-17 3ints LOL!!!!

OK mando,go ahead and take the wife out to dinner, the menace has arrived, just saw the score for the pats, 52 to 0 tom bunchen 28 out of 34 for 360 yds and 6 tds.. ouch

Armando, do you think Rosco Parrish will end up as a Miami Dolphin by the deadline?

Lee Evans burns man. Wow

LEE EVANS!

T.D. Bills!!!

TD Bills!!!!

And yes, the saints putting up that many points against the G-Men, wow, be worried, be very worried..

tied up

Go Bills 13 all

Ugh, only catch me say this when they play the Jests or Patsies, but...

GO BILLS

Armando, do you have any sources saying who the Dolphins might pull off a trade for?

bills score Jets are fake oh i'm sorry it's too cold wht the h--l I hope it's freezing in two weeks Chads played in it and very well

This is right where the jets belong. Battling the Bills to determine the worst team in the east.

I'd like to see the phins start both rookies at the corners. Call me crazy but if we are going to get burned anyway, It would be nice to have a guy like Vontae who has the potential to make a big play going the other way

Cuban Menace:

I agree we should be worried about the Saints but on a positive note if we can play a similiar game as we did against the Colts we have a good shot. We need to keep the ball out of Brees' hands. The difference could be we now have Henne and our offense might be a little bit better than it was when we played the Colts.

Come on Jests, throw ...

No better way to refine them by fire than against the Saints offense

It's good to see that Tom Brady is back to 100%. Now it'll be sixteen times funnier when Cameron Wake tears that douchebag's MCL in a few weeks. I can't believe he was left in that long. Is Belicheat starting him on his fantasy team or something?

Sanchez almost threw a pick 6

Just looking at the Jets game now. Last series was Run, Run, Run. Have they already given up on Sanchez this game? How poor has he looked up to this point? I just tuned in right now.

just goes to show shut up and play talk and even the Bills take your lunch money Go BILL! at least for one week I now need another beer for rooting for the hated Bills

Man the Bills are bad. Just give the game away why don't you.

mmmtravis has just been named the MVP of this blog. That's good stuff man, lol ... Screw the patsies

Henne played in Ann Arbor. No worries.

In fact, the Dolphins are built to play BETTER in the cold. Is that not ironic?

Yup, the Miami team will play better when the weather gets nasty. You'll see.

hahaha. congrats jets. your future qb cant play at home. you may just lose to the hapless bills. see you in 2 weeks losers

Jones- 14 carries for 177 yards!! He will easily clear the 200 mark tonight.

It's not looking good for our DB's next week

4th pick by sanchype!!!

Heard it here first, Jenkiins torn ACL!!

Pick 4!!!

Completely agree Armando

Brett, bro the air breathing mammals had the ball for 45 minutes and manning shredded the secondary, thank god Payton didn't have the ball for 15 more minutes they'd have scored 50 points, but i agree having Chad(neck fat) Henne in as Q.B this will be a high scoring affair, take the over on this one guys, id even say bet the farm(unless the banks foreclosed on it)(then again screw it bet it any way)

Btw, Sanchez is 6 for 21 with 3 ints right now. You guessed correctly, Mando.

Nice call Mando. Now hopefully Sanchez completely throws this game away and the Bill get a W.

It is nice to see Sanchito doing so well. AHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Whoops, 4 ints I guess. Haha, that is a great irony you guys have pointed out though. Sanchez isn't made to play at the Meadowlands and the Dolphins could get better in the wind and the snow. How many cold weather away games are we expecting in Nov/Dec?

i seem to remember a jet fan here talking about fattening up on there next 2 opponents....apparently they are having trouble getting any fatter.....

Wow, the Bills are actually trying to win this game. And Trent Edwards, I think, won't get his job back.

Why does that one commentator keep calling him San-Chezzz?

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE REX RYANS FAT FACE IF THEY LOSE!!!!!!!!!!!

Offensive coordinator showing NO confidence in Sanchez.and he just got SACKED

Jet fans already booing Sanchez. Can't wait to see them turn on they sweetheart

Wow! Titans got big problems.
If the bills beat jets,Sweeeeet!!!
If the Fins beat the saints next week. Mark it down, we R superbowl bound!!!

The Sanchise is wetting himself all over the Meadowlands...I cannot wait to play this team again in two weeks.

Imagine rex(Two ton)Ryan getting fatter...e would be like a super nova collapsing upon him self and creating a super massive black hole..

Man, Eagles lose to the horrendous Raiders...They can't be happy in Philly either
