It is officially a thriller.
The Saints erased a 24-10 halftime lead and got within 27-24 in the third quarter. But moments ago, Chad Henne and Brian Hartline combined for a 67 yard completion and Ricky Williams scored his third TD of the game to extend Miami's lead again.
And so we have a barn burner.
Join me in the comments section for the fourth quarter to see if the Dolphins can finish the upset they have started.

Someone has to really question coaching after this one. It is not an issue of execution. They panicked and abandoned the run; henne also is not along far enough to cope with the pressure. The wildcat would have kept things moving but they decided to get into a passing game when it was needed. also this is the fourth time they have blown manageable drives at the end of the game. Thus disaster will causemore damage then you think because players know that te coaches have let them down. Sad is not even the start of it.

I can't be a part of these guys getting paid anymore
Posted by: Gerry | October 25, 2009 at 07:43 PM
Too much bad defense. We are going to get schooled for a few weeks.
Posted by: Calphin | October 25, 2009 at 07:43 PM
worse than houston....and I was there
Posted by: UGH | October 25, 2009 at 07:43 PM
we're officially a joke, ginn plays like he is a bigger retard than stephen hawkins, he couldn't catch a std if he nailed a hundred disease ridden whores. henne couldn't pass wind, and to think I was planning on spending a £1000 pounds to come and watch the fins this year... Oh well i've saved some cash.
Posted by: Dol Fan | October 25, 2009 at 07:43 PM
Devon Bess end of the half killed us.
Posted by: Wayne Fontes | October 25, 2009 at 07:43 PM
Henne looked rough today but so did all the wr's. Blame this staff for not getting a number 1 wr in the offseason. Also weak play calling all second half, NO SHOTGUN ON 3RD AND 4TH DOWN!!!! what the f?$&
Posted by: Ziggy | October 25, 2009 at 07:43 PM
How many dropped passes does it take to get cut?
Posted by: Hd2463 | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
now I have to hear those a$$ clowns Christ Carter and Deon Sanders talk trash about the Fins and this choke job.
Posted by: el guru | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
Wow. Both the fins and the canes having amazing players and terrible coaching....it honestly makes me sick to my stomach.
Posted by: Inimounts | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM

Posted by: chunks000 | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
THE COACHES JUST BIG S..HT...THE HEAD COACH NO GOOD NO GOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
EVERY TIME DOLPHINS LOSE BIG THERE'S TWO REASONS;
1- TED GINN
2-HEAD COACH
Posted by: ALoco | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
I'd draft a WR and a safety...
Hartline looks good.
BUT it was the PLAY CALLING...
PLAY CALLING PLAY CALLING
Posted by: DAVE | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
Sure there were some bad coaching mistakes, but how many bad throws or dropped passes? Coaches can't be totally at fault.
Posted by: Calphin | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
What can you say after a game like that! We suck!
Posted by: mgo268 | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
typical...put this one right up there with the jets loss in 4th quarter over at the swamp...It was better when they were 1-15...no stress after week 4.
Posted by: UWE | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
well it just shows we are only an OK team. not there yet. Too mant turnovers. dropped passes. Jets won too so its gonna take a lot to get back in the hunt
Posted by: dave | October 25, 2009 at 07:44 PM
Maybe Ginn can be like Jason Allen and only contribute on special teams.
Posted by: jrc | October 25, 2009 at 07:45 PM

Armando send these blogs to Ginny. Let him know we are all behind him. Rofao
Posted by: Dawnb112 | October 25, 2009 at 07:46 PM
We just cannot play with the big boys.
Ginn and Wilson were once more severely exposed. WR and FS must be a priority in next year's draft.
Posted by: Yann | October 25, 2009 at 07:46 PM
Lol we are the worst NFL team at two minute drill ever.
Posted by: Inimounts | October 25, 2009 at 07:46 PM
THey allowed the SAINTS to gain momentum and then they shifted to their base defense in the second half no disguising or shifting!!!! Not enough play action at the end of the first half when the Saints were down. Boneheaded offensive play calling too much wildcat to the outside not enough to the middle for 4 and 5 yard gain. What a let down defensively!!!! This defense stinks they can't stop the run when they have to the safeties are terrrible not bad, terrible terrible. Thightends do as they please with our defense!!!!!!!!
Posted by: Shadow Templar | October 25, 2009 at 07:46 PM
WTF are they doing??
Posted by: FinFan | October 25, 2009 at 07:46 PM
3 int's by Brees and we still lose. Just don't have the horses to compete with these guys. Especially when we have the refs missing critical cals. That momentum killer before the half was the turning point in the game. Mando -- Please question TS on the logic of that called timeout. Next two division games are must win, otherwise, call it a season.

I'm sooooo Maddddd
Posted by: 54thDolphin | October 25, 2009 at 07:47 PM

Posted by: Dol Fan | October 25, 2009 at 07:47 PM
Mando are Ginn and G. Wilson on waivers yet? And will anthony fumbolano joing them soon?
Posted by: el guru | October 25, 2009 at 07:47 PM
Lol. Can we only pass for 5 yards downfield!?
Posted by: Cmgchico | October 25, 2009 at 07:47 PM
How many more passes will this man drop! Clutch passes! Leave him on special teams.
Posted by: mgo268 | October 25, 2009 at 07:47 PM
The Defense choked so bad in the second half. 36 points. they suck. man this is so depressing. a win here would have created so much momentum thru the rest of the season.
Posted by: dave | October 25, 2009 at 07:47 PM
%UCK GINN!!! Fired the Bitc%
Posted by: Finatic | October 25, 2009 at 07:47 PM
What a bunch of whining f***ing babies. Boohhoohoo they lost theyre the wors they suck. And when they win it's all " we're great, we're the best etc.". Posted by: Account Deleted | October 25, 2009 at 07:48 PM
Sparano really isn't much of a coach. Love to see the overrated Taliban Tuna take over as head coach.

Posted by: dave | October 25, 2009 at 07:48 PM
can someone explain why they are throwing 5 yard slants now when they are 2 scores behind (not like any chance of coming back but c'mon)
Posted by: big I | October 25, 2009 at 07:48 PM
I'm not watching the Dolphins again. Them and their stupid celebrity owners can kiss my behind. And now Ginn makes a catch. Great display of skills! This team is worthless. I'm out.
Posted by: FB | October 25, 2009 at 07:48 PM
Seriously all kidding aside ginn has to go he causes more harm than good
Posted by: Chewyphins | October 25, 2009 at 07:48 PM
I think it's obvious that that g Wilson fasano and Ginn will not be on this team next year. Trhey are just being used since there are no replacements
Posted by: Richard3000 | October 25, 2009 at 07:48 PM
they will say ginn completed... that's a sympathy vote
Posted by: Dol Fan | October 25, 2009 at 07:48 PM
