Friday night lights and newsy item

Final post of the day and this is whatup:

Cleveland Browns coach Eric Mangini told gathered media he has, "no interest in moving Josh Cribbs," according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

The Dolphins have shown interest in Cribbs but have been rebuffed.

Cribbs has not requested a trade, but has requested his contract be renegotiated. Yeah, that will happen during the season. Anyway, it seems less likely than ever that Cribbs will be available to Miami by the Oct. 20 trade deadline.

Of course, Mangini is something of a poker player. He is perhaps trying to drive up the price on his star kickoff and punt return man.

For those of you asking the question in my previous posts about Cribbs, he was a college QB and has dabbled as a WR and a Wildcat type triggerman in the NFL. But lest you be fooled, his present value is in returning punts and kicks.

One final question for you: Why are you here?

It's Friday night ...

Go out. Have some fun. See a movie. Take the girlfriend to the submarine races.

Or ....

Put on the record below (yeah, they used to have things called records before CDs) and have a party at home. Right now.

Hey, Inimounts you tool: I'm Hispanic. And I love Rush. Because he's my friend. So WTF are you talking about you ignorant jerkoff?

Rush is not racist or against Hispanics. Do you know how many charities he contributes toward? YOu heard of La Liga Contra El Cancer?

He contributes.

Get educated before you talk crap, fool.

Willi , good job setting the recored straight. One of his best friend is black.

Just finished enjoying watching Ohio State get beat by Purdue 26-18. Since the travesty of January 3, 2003 when they stole the Fiesta Bowl and BCS National Championship from our beloved Canes, it's always a pleasure to watch Capt. Sweater Vest take it on the chin.

Now, on to the Fins -- with a bye week, maybe the Trifecta can spend some extra time with Messrs. Crowder and Wilson for extra lessons in tackling (put your shoulder in these and wrap the guy up) and Mssrs. Allen, Davis, and Bell for some extra time to explain that we are supposed to cover the other team's receivers -you know, the ones with jerseys that are not the same color as ours. (Hope no one is offended with my reference to color, even if it pertains to jerseys - Crowd here's been a little sensitive lately).

Will all of the opinions expressed in recent days, I've learned that there are a lot of people who attend the blog that are intelligent, independent thinkers. Let's focus all of that energy on what we have in common --loving the Fins and hating the Jests!!!

I just want to point out the fact that Mangini is a a**hole...of course he won't do a trade with Miami when he works for the JETS still.I mean how many cake trades has he made to the damn JETS.Maybe Mantini Weenie and Sexy Rexy have a little bump and grind going on ha ha Man I can't stand these guys...That's it I need a RED BULL.It's ok we still have hope in KC ha

BTW NJ I just want to point out...I'm watching Taylor Mays rite now...wow what a stud:)

Let's play a game. If you all could have two players to complete the Dolphins, who would they be...
My picks are Ed Reed and Reggie Wayne
