The Dolphins are going to match up with Tom Brady and Co. while missing two defensive starters Sunday.
The team this evening downgraded inside linebacker Channing Crowder and nose tackle Jason Ferguson from doubtful to out. Neither will play Sunday.
Reggie Torbor is expected to start in Crowder's place for the second consecutive game. Paul Soliai is expected start in place of Ferguson.
Soliai obviously will play a majority of the snaps at nose tackle, but it is possible Randy Starks will also take nose tackle snaps in relief of Soliai. When Starks moves from his starting end spot to nose tackle, the Dolphins can use Phillip Merling or Tony McDaniel at the end spot.
The Dolphins have yielded an average of 168 rushing yards in games Crowder was out going back to 2007 . Last week the Jets rushed for 127 yards in a game Crowder missed.
The Dolphins also waived William Kershaw this evening. Kershaw was signed two weeks ago to play on special teams. Apparently he didn't play well enough as the club today promoted rookie J.D. Folsom from their practice squad. Folsom will play on special teams Sunday.

Woo-Hoo, looks like the Phins will now make a Jason Taylor and Solai sandwich out of Tom Brady!

Anybody know who will be calling this game?
I can't stand most of the biased dolts on TV. I rather listen to a couple of guys like Jim Mandich and Mike Ditka. These guys would make up a good broadcast booth.
Anybody know the link to a South Florida Radio broadcast for the game?
I'm having a game day party and I don't want everyone siting around listening to a couple of wimps swing from Brady's scrotum!
Posted by: odinseye | November 07, 2009 at 08:04 PM
I think you can listen to the game on WQAM which is 790 on the AM dial if you do not want to listen to the Brady cheerleaders calling the game on tv.

Odinseye,
How have you been bro?? Oh by the way it is me. I am not NJ and NJ is not me. Can't wait for the game.

TOMOROW IS 64 GOOD WEATHER FOR US .I HOPE JT AND HENNE DON'T SHOW UP WHEN IT COUNTS .DOLPHINS ALWAYS PLAY WELL IN BOSTON .
TOM BRADY SAID TODAY THAT THIS GAME IS THE MOST IMPORTNT OF THE SEASON ,HE THINKS FINS ARE WAY BETTER THAN THEIR RECORD .

Little Carlito Boy Blue!
Thank You.
PS: GOOD Meade is hard to find these days. One guy that's coming over always brings some "clear Juice" in a mason jar. I love it, but he never tells me how he gets/makes it. Go Figure.

This is the most important game of the season for the fins, I been saying it for a week so I take credit for Mando's last blog and Tom Brady's statement like Mando take credit for Ted Ginn on kick return.
Posted by: carlito from golfito | November 07, 2009 at 08:25 PM
Ferguson hurts, Crowder? Meh.. No loss.
Posted by: shaggy | November 07, 2009 at 08:26 PM
Ace,
During football season the Dolphins kind of dictate how I'm doing. I've honestly never enjoyed being 3-4 MORE!
Win, lose or draw, this is a tough hard nosed football team headed in the right direction. It feels so good to be proud of my team again.
Posted by: odinseye | November 07, 2009 at 08:26 PM
Gopats...there seems to be something wrong with your caps key.
Posted by: Hennething | November 07, 2009 at 08:29 PM
there's a talk here in boston of brady gets traded in the end of this season .the reason is pats wants to biuld for the future while they can trade him for high value .
ps..there's a little rift between the coach and brady since he got injured .
Posted by: GOpats | November 07, 2009 at 08:29 PM
Trade Brady?
Right!
Not Belicheat!!!!

Posted by: carlito from golfito | November 07, 2009 at 08:33 PM
hennething...life goes on with or without caps key .meanwhile tomorow is a beautiful day where tom brady the master of TD show the new comer chad henne how it's done w/class and moss and welker .three scary names .i can't wait to see r.brown up close .

Me being the Norse Viking God of War comes with quite a few perks and I do have my connections.
Anybody remember the "snow blower" game in Foxboro?
Well I have spoken with the football Gods and they have informed me that vengence will be served. Tomorrow!!!!
Posted by: odinseye | November 07, 2009 at 08:37 PM
You belong in a mental facility... First you say the pats are rumored to trade Brady at the end of the season then you say that the pats will win tomarrow? Crazy.
Posted by: Hennething | November 07, 2009 at 08:38 PM
Hennthing,
go get me some ice cream .
Posted by: GOpats | November 07, 2009 at 08:42 PM
Armando,
You're smarter than that aren't you? To attribute those yards to Crowder's absence is terribly misleading - an abuse of correlative logic. Crowder is a terrible tackler and is always in the wrong place on key gains. Torbor was no worse than Crowder in the Jets game. That's not a ringing endorsement but please don't make out like Crowder's absence is that big of a deal.
Fergie, on the other hand, is not so easily shrugged off.
Here's hoping Sumo continues to explode on D.

Get your mental health doctor to get it for you.
Posted by: Hennething | November 07, 2009 at 08:43 PM
GoPats,
You did call Brady the Master(baiter).
Then you claimed he would be traded.
Hennething is kind of right, you're not making to much sense.

Solai the Sumo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

guys don't get mad at gopats, he's just a little nervous that the Dolphins are coming to town to expose his team who feast on the NFL worst and can't handle the physical football of miami.
He doesn't know how to control himself.
Posted by: carlito from golfito | November 07, 2009 at 08:45 PM
Oh on the contrary... I'm not MAD at him I simply feel bad for him. :)
Posted by: Hennething | November 07, 2009 at 08:47 PM
Good 4 Folsom!!
Posted by: Phins4life | November 07, 2009 at 08:52 PM
ok people, what's wrong for kraft and the pats to trade brady in the end of season while he's doing real well and get a high value for him .
the pats thinking is they can't afford tom brady's price after his injury plus they need a new look since fans excpect pats to every game .it's about making more money no thing else .
boston is not florida where dan marino kept playing w/fins for 50 years .
Posted by: GOpats | November 07, 2009 at 08:52 PM
tomorow's game is very scary to us ? the miami defense is one of the worst defenses in the afc .
hennething is a good boy .
Posted by: GOpats | November 07, 2009 at 08:57 PM
Guys.....wait. I'm having a vision.
I see the final seconds ticking off a game clock.....
I see Brady, Welker and Moss starring dejectedly at their feet.......
GoPats....what does this mean....?
Posted by: odinseye | November 07, 2009 at 08:57 PM
Gopats,
Tom Brady and Bellicheck are terrify of JT, you should be too
Posted by: carlito from golfito | November 07, 2009 at 08:58 PM
Nice retort Gopats...not really...
Posted by: Hennething | November 07, 2009 at 08:59 PM
i must say odinseye comes up w/very funny posts .the feet, the starring very funny .i guss it's asy thought to come to his head since he cheered for fins the last ten years including the record 1-15 .
Posted by: GOpats | November 07, 2009 at 09:00 PM
let's see how points fins allowed so far this season ? multiply that by 2 and that's what you get tomorow .btw we wish crowder good health and hope he recovers by game time and play .
Posted by: GOpats | November 07, 2009 at 09:04 PM
Ummm ya it takes a true fan to cheer for a 1-15 team. Can't say the same for you though... You'd dump the patriots a** as soon as they went on a three game losing streak. Dolphin fans are TRUE fans.
Posted by: Hennething | November 07, 2009 at 09:04 PM
time to go watch FARGO .
Posted by: GOpats | November 07, 2009 at 09:06 PM
Gopats,
It's all good natured fun.....RIGHT?
For the record I have been a die hard Fin Fan since they were charged a draft pick for "tampering" when they TOOK Shula from the Dolts.
In all those years we have simply and unequivocally owned your patsies!!!!

Good throwback odinseye! Tomorrows game is going to be a great game to watch. Everyone I know and I will be enjoying this game more than any game the phins have played thus far! There are good match ups and scary mis-matches that can bust this game wide open for either team. But as usual my heart is with the Phins and I expect a win. 31-27 Miami! GO PHINS!!
Posted by: dolfan4life | November 07, 2009 at 09:15 PM
Wow, JD Folsom has made the gameday roster.
That means 6 of our 8 '09 draft choices have now made the gameday roster. 4 have made starts and Folsom makes his first ST's start Sunday.(Smith,Davis, Clemmons, Hartline, now JD Folsome.)
Only Turner and Nalbone have thus far failed to be gameday active. Although Nalbone now demoted to practice squad.
5 out of 8 draftees getting at least one start isnt bad at all guys. Hopefully Turner can get gameday active within the next few games at least.
Posted by: DyingBreed | November 07, 2009 at 09:15 PM
Umm, no one's a bigger Dolphins fan than I am. But I always find it a little bit embarrassing when the people on this board belittle the Patriots. Guys, they have won three Super Bowls this decade, and appeared in another in which they had a perfect regular season. We've had some good seasons this decade and some horrible ones, but our best record has only been 11-5. Let's get real. We don't have much to crow about in comparison.
Posted by: Nathaniel Dodsworth | November 07, 2009 at 09:16 PM
Tobor demonstrated last week, he does NOT have the instincts of a secondary man. The dude never turns to see where the ball has been thrown and looks ONLY at the receiver throughout the route until the WR makes the catch. PATHETIC.
Posted by: Art | November 07, 2009 at 09:18 PM
I know your just teasing each other I wasn't born yesterday. Oh and btw there seems to be something wrong with your caps lock again. NOW it's time to hit the hay. I'm beat, good luck to ya tomarrow GOpats.
Posted by: Hennething | November 07, 2009 at 09:18 PM
Art not to defend Torbor, but Ive never even seen Crowder that far down field trying to defend a player let alone have his back turned to the ball.
Just to even have a ILB that far down the field attempting pass defense looked somewhat like improvement to me. It has to begin somewhere. LOL
Posted by: DyingBreed | November 07, 2009 at 09:23 PM
Nathaniel,
"Wimpspeak" was OK when you were a Canadian....wait...no it wasn't!
I meant to say I understand you people because you've depended on us for protection forev.....ah......scratch that.
Nathaniel(what kind of name is that) we're going to war tomorrow, strap a pair on homeboy!!!!
Kill Brady! Kill Brady! Kill Brady! Kill Brady!

Allright I will say it again like I did last week the day before the game against the jets, it's time to put all the chatting on the side and for the Dolphins to put there hearts into this game and kick some butt, tomorrow the team that wins will give it thier all. Go Dolphins 31 to 17, dolphins win win win

As I saw the play develop that's exactly what I thought.
However he apparently doesn't know how to read the recievers body language or eyes. He never got his head around.

Does Brady have a bowel "problem"?
Is this in the injury reports?
Posted by: odinseye | November 07, 2009 at 09:41 PM
Odinseye, I refuse to rise to your bait. I refuse to point out that false bravado is customarily a sign of deep insecurity. I refuse to point out that my penis is bigger than yours (I'll let your girlfriend point that out.)
By the way, you're right about Canada piggybacking onto the United States for security post WWII. The great Canadian historian J.L. (Jack) Granatstein has pointed out the irony of no one being more ungrateful than the freeloader. He posits that can explain alot of the anti-Americanism emanating north of the border.

Ouch!!!!
I'll admit to having SLIGHT insecurities when it comes to facing Brady and the Patsies.
Slight and in regards to football only!!!!

You didn't used to be French Canadian did ya(spoken in the voice of Jed Clampet)?

Nathaniel,
There's nothing false about me.
Bravado is but a mere TOOL for me(snicker).
It is to be used in a positive manner in which one learns to overcome his insecurities.
You seem to know a lot about history. Any idea where the term Berserk originated?

We are always a great match for the patriots, their defense is not what it used to be, their OL can be pushed, only concern I have is "we do not see to be able to rattle any QB in this league" (exception is buffalo) 8 games into the season and I can't understand why our defense looks more like the 1-15 dolphins defense than last year, love JT but I think he is done, J porter lots of talk this year not a lot of sacks, don't even get me started with the secondary, could it be the schedule? Maybe as it gets easier we will see the defense overcome as we did last year, or could it be we have a lot of non productive big names on defense, what will the Tedd Ginn show bring us tomorrow? Are we ever playing Michael Turner, I know people said he stopes passes in practice, but for crying out loud he is almost 7", other than these concerns GO Phins!!!!!! Make no mistake this is our season right here, right now the afc east has to go trough foxboro, a win tomorrow and we will force anyone that wants our crown to come trough Miami in order to get it, good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
