JACKSONVILLE -- The Dolphins owned the first quarter. And the second quarter.
But Jacksonville seemed to find a sense of urgency when Chad Henne scored from 1 yard out on a QB keeper to give Miami a 14-0 lead.
The Jaguars answered with a six-minute drive that culminated with a Maurice Jones-Drew 1 yard run to make it 14-7.
Henne is having a great day so far. He has completed 14 of 16 passes for 146 yards.

Thanks Kevin Harlan! Put the whammy on carpenter! Guess it's our own fault though, holding, sacks etc.....

Nah don't think so, but we better get our act together here, give the damn ball to henne and let him take care of business!!!
Posted by: richard3000 | December 13, 2009 at 02:54 PM
good call...you figure they defense gives you 6-7 yards to make it a 40 yard field goal. If it is incomplete is is almost a 50 yarder...he just needs to make it. Shows how much you folks know about football
Posted by: HP in PA | December 13, 2009 at 02:54 PM
this is exactly the type of SH## that is keeping jax in this game, fumble by bess and now another drive in to jax territory with no points!!
Posted by: superPHIN | December 13, 2009 at 02:54 PM
3rd and 18 and we run????? when Chad has completed 14 passes in a row? What are we doing? Do we ever play to win, to finish off a team? And then we miss the darn field goal. Play conservative and lose. We should have thrown the ball and tried to get the first not give up and take a missed field goal. Again bad coaching

It is Buffalo all over again.
Plus, can we get turnovers?

Posted by: mntmanfinfan | December 13, 2009 at 02:56 PM
we are averaging 4 yards a run. we were lucky ricky got 8 and it still wasnt close enough. when your qb has nearly a perfect game running throw the dang ball 10 or more yards and try to get the first.
Posted by: finfan23 | December 13, 2009 at 02:56 PM
that play is the reason the sweep on third and 18 was HORRIBLE!!!!
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 13, 2009 at 02:57 PM
are you fing kidding me? wow.
Posted by: shaggy | December 13, 2009 at 02:57 PM
Garrad's inability to complete a pass is keeping us in this game.

bess leads the team in rec and yds and 2nd in the league in 3rd down catches, those are fact. He ain't going anywhere and THAT"S a Fact ! now go back to crying me river and posting only negative plays.
Posted by: NJ PHIN FAN | December 13, 2009 at 02:58 PM
It is troubling that we are dominating this game, and yet the Jags are about to tie things up. We don't have a killer instinct...cannot put teams away.
Posted by: Jules | December 13, 2009 at 02:58 PM
We suck god damn it! We look like crap. This coaching staff deserves to be shot! Unacceptable for this team to allow such a long pass. F'in Sparano!
Posted by: FB | December 13, 2009 at 02:58 PM
S. Smith not paying attention again!
