Live blog chat right here at 1 p.m.

After spending some time with the blog regulars during the 35-31 Colts victory over Jacksonville Thursday night, I got this grand idea that perhaps a live blog chat was in order.

So I dialed room service and ordered it up for today.

There will be a live chat on this blog at 1 p.m. and we'll go as long as you guys keep it interesting.

We can discuss Sunday's game. We can discuss the playoff picture. We can discuss anything and everything Miami Dolphins.

By the way, the Jacksonville loss Thursday night means the Baltimore Ravens (7-6) are now the No. 6 seed for the playoffs. The Dolphins (7-6) trail them, but obviously have the opportunity to make up that ground over the season's final three games.

Meet back here at 1 p.m. And if you can't be here then, leave whatever questions or comments you have now and I'll respond when the action begins.

Guys Young practiced for the second day in a row safe to say he starts.

I see Dying " Buffoon " breed aka heil hitler as it again . He just got deleted LMFAO ! What a Buffoon ! i can only imagine what he wrote. Buffoon take your own advice and GROW THE F UP ! FRAAAAAUUUD !

Going back to Pat white's horrible passing display this year. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't he the most accurate deep passing QB we had at training camp? As soon as Sparano took the gloves off, White's been a mess. Why dont they just let him where gloves?

Miami, the Dolphins have their scouts look at CFL players all the time. I don't know what player you're talking about, but if he has "issues," that truly does diminish his opportunity with Parcells and Company.

I'm glad you mentioned a bull. While I can't get you on a real one (I mean comeon I'm from South Florida too,) I CAN get you on a mechanical bull at Cadillac Ranch on lower Broadway conveniently across the street from at least 2 cowboy boot shops. You can even walk to LP Field!

Armando - When and IF Miami makes the playoffs, do you see them as a 1 and done team? I would really like a rematch against the Colts...

Kevin, in training camp Pennington comleted about 68 percent of his passes, Henne around 60 percent and White around 55 percent.

Aloco, "COME ON MAN" its none other then Ted(Sideline)Ginn jr. And his family....

What do you think will be in the works for the offseason by the trifecta?

Aloco I would say Gibril Wilson, but he has been awesome against the run. Him and Bell are both looking to have over 100 tackles over the season. I cannot believe Im gonna say this, but I think it is a three way tie between Crowder, Fasano & Akin

Zach Thomas has not officially retired, guys. But it's safe to say he's done playing.

I totally agree this is going to be one of the most anticipated offseasons ever by all finfans. Man Im so excited and pumped and the only thing that would help to alleviate it if we shockingly some how managed to win this year's super bowl in miami.

I know many will disagree, but its been a very strange season for us and how much more stranger could it get than ending in a super bowl win in Miami.

Absolutely no one would be able to say they saw that coming! I'll cautiously go on record and say "Why Not Us!"

Remember that line Armando? LOL

zachattack- just saw you post, my bad. Yes, I am going to the game. I've lived in Nashville for 6 years and seen them once at LP Field before, a loss. I've been waiting since the 2009 schedule came out for this. Sitting behind the Titans bench with my binoculars to I can stalk our bench and see Louie Polite's bulging musles

aloco . i already asked mando about what he thinks the coaches impressions are on merling and langford and how they've progressed. Now got to your room and do your homework.

ALoco, the worst performing starter on offense was Ted Ginn Jr. The worst on defense? Gibril Wilson, but that's based on what happened earlier in the season.

the one i was thinking about was Adarius Bowman of oklahoma state

DyingBreed you dont know how bad or how much I would love to see my Fins in the Super Bowl, but right now there is only one thing in my mind and that is getting to the playoffs. If they some how manage to get to the playoffs, hey anything can happen after that.

Our team has been extremely creative on the offensive side of the ball. We all know the kinds of "gimmics" we try to run to get an advantage.

One thing our team hasn't done since Sparano has been here is a fake punt. I realize that's probably not his style of football but maybe one time would be nice. I'm sure we can catch a defense off guard but we never seem to try.

I would like to know if Coach ever considers running a fake punt? I woudln't be surprised to see the Titans run one. I recall the one they ran in the preseason working out pretty well.

How long do you think Henning will stay on as Miami's OC? I think it's important to have a stable coaching staff in order for a young QB to develop. Changing systems can really damage a QB's chances at success (see Alex Smith, Jason Campbell). Do you think Henning will be around for a while?

Ryan they did a fake punt, went for a first, cant remember against whom though...

Indiana, you DO NOT want a rematch against the Colts.

The Colts are better in every practical department you might want to discuss. Stop it!

Have a good weekend everyone, see ya'll Sunday @ 1

Armando, please tell me that the dolphins are going to replace Crowder. I'm in TN and will be going to the game tomorrow. I'm going to keep an eye on him and count how many times he shoots the wrong gap. What MLB's can we acquire next yr that will be game changing (which Crowder never will be, Because HE SUCKS!)

cubam menace, you're right. I do recall now a fake punt being run once. I think that was last season though. Against the Bills maybe?

I just hope they atleast consider it at times.

CTPHinsFAn, as you know Henning is 67 years old. I would not be surprised if he wants to go another couple of years.

Some of it depends on what happens the final month of the season. We'll see.

It seems to me that Anderson and Torbor are better then the players in front of them and offer more speed in a game like Tn. Also Chris Clemens has incredible speed and may cover better then Wilson on the swing passes. Why don't they play more? Also It does seem that Bess, Hartline, and Cammarillo are similar and don't bring any uniquely different skill such as Turner might. Why not use that difference in a game.

whith the way Henne is developing, are you starting to like the Jake long pick?

5150, you are right, Crowder does guess wrong a lot. It is frustrating.

But he's not going anywhere. He just signed a new contract in the offseason. Sorry, dude, you'll be counting his missteps for a while, I think.

You know something I've been thinking about Pat White? For a couple of plays where we just want to run relatively standard running plays, I kind of like the idea of putting Pat White under center. Not too long, but maybe just a play or two. Then just have him hand the ball off.

It's always fun to play with the "there's a gimmick new player coming in, what's he up to, what's he doing?!" reaction that defenses have.

Mando I believe both Culver & Clemons have the potential to start in this league. What do you see Miami doing to upgrade FS.

Alright everyone, we've been at this for two hours and my fingers are about to cramp up.

I appreciate you coming here today.

Please remember there's a live blog on Sunday. Tune in then to see if Will somehow got me to wear cowboy boots and ride a mechanical bull before the game.

God bless.

Even if Henning's only around another year or 2, Im sure we keep the same system install and promote a new coordinator from within.

Worst case scenario Sporano temporaily takes over the duties until someone familiar with the system and terminology are found. Belief me this regime is to smart and to talented to screw with Henne's developement.

What I would like to see is more of the 3 safety package. Playing Bell as more of a LB, bring in Clemons or Culver as a FS.

They seem to only do that against a fast TE though.

Armando... I disagree with you, I would love a rematch with the colts. That would mean a few things, 1 we made the playoffs, 2 we won at least 1 playoff game and a 3rd possibility could be we are in the AFC championship game.

Later Mando, I'll take over from here my Friend......

Armando, actually I waould want a rematch. We just played the same team in back to back weeks and who played better against the Jags, MIAMI. Also, I would love for Miami to come play a game in the town I live in. If they do, I'll meet up with you somewhere and have a drink!! We allmost beat the Colts and even though they are a good team, we have gotten better and have a different QB...

Mando best blog all year. Thanks

love it. see any and all of you at the game. tweet me @wgober or something spectacularly cool like that. I'm coming to the press box with cowboy boots, dammit.

Indy, That would require a trip to Indy, NO THANKS, Manning is playing like a Man against 8 year olds, you dont want that my amigo, just saying.....

Think about it, if we can Pats let Wilfork go, and we get him and also go after one of the following WR: Brandon Marshall, Vincent Jackson, or Miles Austin (in tht order of importance).

Our draft will be sick, focused on getting young talent on def, possible a nice safety, so much we can do with two positions taken care of during free agency.

My i-pod app works now....I'm so happy,I'm gonna drink some Budweisers to celebrate.....GO DOLPHINS !!!!!!

Did Payton break a sweat last nite??I know it was cold but this guy is playing at a different level....

mclovin could not agree more on the WR and your order of preference. no way we take brandon marshall (too much of a diva...i know thats a cop out but it's also a reality.) Jackson will not be a F/A he'll get locked up. Miles Austin I think would be the most likely candidate, but even he has been playing well enough that the cowboys are going to have to at least explore signing him to a long term deal. Stephen Ross may want to offer more cash $ dollar bills than Jerry Jones, though.

Cuban Menace... You are wrong, we all want to see that.. That means we are winning in the playoffs and I would ask the rest of the people in here who would not want that? Get real... and we can play them tough... may not win, but we are a better team then week 2 except for the "HUGE" loss of Ronnie Brown.

Road to the SB goes thru Indy. Only other possible detour maybe San Diego. If you're "real" finfans get your gps' ready or stay the f'k home!

latter fellas.

Mando do you see the dolphins maybe searching the canadian league for a reciever instead of big wager battles for a big nfl name ....i cant remember the players name but there was a reciever that slipped through to the cfl cause of off the field issues i wanna say he is like 6'3'' 220 but i can trmember his name

The player I brought up a few weeks back is Adarius Bowman. Played at GT, physical speciman but was immature. He's maturing quite well with Winnipeg and is only 25. Youtube him. Definitely worth a flyer.

Breed, dont bet money on San Diago, There coach(Norv Turner) Is the biggest choker in big games.....

Adarius Bowman played at NC, then transfered to oklahoma St. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adarius_Bowman

DyingBreed, you're right. Don't know why I thought GT but I guess that happens when you're lazy and don't look things up when you aren't sure before you post. Laziness on my part. But I'm also hungover!

Cuban - If we make the playoffs and want to go anywhere or the SuperBowl we have to go to Indy no matter what. Also, I can be at Lucas Oil Stadium in 20 minutes :)

If Miami makes the playoffs win or lose my money's on them. Is a strange feeling I get maybe once every 5 or 10yrs and its usually right. So dont be surprised should they make the playoffs and take it all the way to Miami.

For some reason I see us upsetting the undefeated Saints in a home super bowl. Its strange, really strange.

Dyingbreed - Do you see Miami upsetting the undefeated Colts in the 2nd round or the AFC championship on our way to defeating the Saints in the Super Bowl. Bow would the 1972 team be proud of the 2009 team if they did that...

Even though wee should of beat both those teams in the regular season

BTW, thanks for the blog Mando. That was good fun

If we indeed upset the at the time undefeated Saints. The '72 team would be there and how great would that be to see the 72 fins and the 09 fins celebrating a super bowl win together. Also protecting thier legacy as the only undefeated untied super bowl champs ever.

This would be like a dream come true. Hollywood couldnt have written a more perfect script! LOL

I like the thought of the fins beating indy and then beating the saints in the super bowl that would be....................will that would be SUPER...lol....
