Live blog chat right here at 1 p.m.

After spending some time with the blog regulars during the 35-31 Colts victory over Jacksonville Thursday night, I got this grand idea that perhaps a live blog chat was in order.

So I dialed room service and ordered it up for today.

There will be a live chat on this blog at 1 p.m. and we'll go as long as you guys keep it interesting.

We can discuss Sunday's game. We can discuss the playoff picture. We can discuss anything and everything Miami Dolphins.

By the way, the Jacksonville loss Thursday night means the Baltimore Ravens (7-6) are now the No. 6 seed for the playoffs. The Dolphins (7-6) trail them, but obviously have the opportunity to make up that ground over the season's final three games.

Meet back here at 1 p.m. And if you can't be here then, leave whatever questions or comments you have now and I'll respond when the action begins.

If we lose.....

We will lose it, you will not win it; phins fans know what I am Sayin.

The game is in our hands not yours.

Po White,

Right now Pat White has 2 dilemas. One he has to learn to read pro defenses. Even though he worked in the spread option in college NFL defenses are a lot more advanced. IMO, he's put into games just to get an up close and personel look at these defenses and the real speed of the game. He's in the learning stage.

Two, as I stated earlier the kid has to learn the pocket passing aspect of the game totally from scratch. So his true development and impact may not be felt for 2-3 years down the road.

But next season look for him to began making some plays out of the WildPat. By year 3 I look for WildPat to be a nearly unstoppable element of our offense. This is just how I envision it. I kind of have a pulse for what BP's decision of drafting this kid so high is. Parcell's is no fool, though it doesnt seem so right now.

If you lose it will be same reason 6 of last seven have lost.

1) VY does not make mistakes. Dinger has adjusted offense for VY and CJ. You say all you need to do is stop Y or C or force Y to pass. That has not worked. Good luck.
2) CJ breaks some big ones
3) Defense continues to play better
4) VY has good QB rating and passes better than you think.

regardless of any adjustments made by your OC, VY isnt Brady, Breeze, or Manning. Contain the run and we cap the oil wells. Just hope you oilhead rejects arent planning any large purchases soon. Or you just may be planning on bankruptcy court relying on VY alone. LOL

Hope (TRULEY) you are on the money, 2 to 3 years we got.

Oiler, Bring on the run. VY Gotta pass. Ur only hope.

Well said Breed.

I know big game for you, even big game for us with very slim playoff hopes. But that is what being a fan is all about. I don't have stats in front of me but shutting down current Titans offense is no cake walk like some of you believe. Just saying crap is not being a fan. I respect fins and not easy game but we are at home and have the mo. Not a one player mo the whole team. Just be prepared.

Like your balls.

We are not on you site talkin sh*t.

Smell fear.

Best of luck.

Good luck.

Mean it. Like your gutz.

Ya never know, thats why we play the game.

Po White,

I love Pat White because he has that very rare only a chosen few athletically gifted players have. The kid has a brain! 2 things you cant teach in sports, athleticism and brains. This is why I believe Parcells is so high on the kid.

Even though we dont see the finished product now, barely even a tenth of it, oh its coming. Oh boy is it coming and the NFL will have hell to pay! LOL

Pat white won't even be on the team in 3 years. HA !

Pat white suks !

Know at that age you can put on weight, my main concern as pertains to him. Lord knows I put on 40 lbs from then (not fat LOL). That is the issue. Does he have the size to play in the......

That is the ?

Empty Oilcan,

We have no sympathy for you here, boy did you choose the wrong team blog! So you can take your old broken down cowboy tumble weed a ss and blow the f'k outta here and take your dust storm with you. Because on Sunday you and your oil can reject team will be pushing up daisys. LOL

Po, Vince has shown that he can't carry his team. When they give him too much responsibility, he chokes. I agree with your assessment. Our boys stay in their lanes, on their assignments, and we're good to go

I understand the critisisms you doubters have and at present its fair. But before long this kid will have you all eating from the palm of his hand just like feeding oats to a deer. He going to make you all his personal Bambi.

Just remeber you heard it here first. LOL

I'll leave the fin fans as not to get in the way of or over stay my welcome. Hope I just opened your eyes so you can appreciate a win more or understand a lose more. I expect to win but it's a game an anyting can happen, I just like what I've been seeing. Hook'em Horns.

Go Oiler.

Good luck.

Hey Oilcan you forgot your old rusty belt buckle.....catch....oops! Didnt mean to split ya to the white meat. Will somebody get that boy a bandaid! LOL

Hook'em horns, wasnt that the mating call in that gay cowboy movie?

Just do me one favor heil hitler oops dying breed. Next rime fins are winning dont post this ' fins are winning int he fourth quarter' ' fins are winning in the fourth quarter'' fins are winning in the fourth quarter'' fins are winning in the fourth quarter' 50 friggin times. Its mad annoying. Have fun but dont disrespect other fins fans. Thanks dude later.

Old oiler we are the afc east champs buddy. Noone has run on us ALL year. CJ wont either.

I love the Buffalo Bills this weekEveryone is saying how Brady and Moss are gonna light up the scoreboard, but I just don't see it happening.

I think we'll see a return of the Wildcat in this one folks. It'll be a battle of the trenches, and I'd take our offensive and defensive lines any day of the week. Let's just hope Crowder isn't too busy admiring Johnson's johnson...Crowder's gonna have to make some plays.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see this game on the NFL Network on Tuesday.Miami should be competetive in this one and if they keep Johnson inside,we should be able to leave with a win.

Miami wins it!!! 23-20. Another nail - biter. I smell a posible OverTime game. All this CJ talk, but whatabout our boy Ricky! Titans better not sleep on em.we got this.

Thanks NJ, Now if you can do something about this ice-age id appreciate it... Global warming my butt....

Peace be with you.

It is cold here in Florida too, going to be cold in Nashville tomorrow

I'm so happy....I just found out that they're showing the Dolphins game here in Mn.

Come on NJ, lets keep it to football, you're better than that.

How do you think the weather will affect the game on sunday? I think this Dolphins team is good to compete in the cold (41 degree high).

NJ This sound alot like cuban menace

Thank you for the kind words guys and I want to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to one and all. I will start trying to participate more often. It just started getting a little weird in here and I needed a break. Talk to you guys soon and hopefully the phins can keep winning and get into the playoffs. If not I think this year will still be a good year and I hope I'm not alone in that assesment. Looks like we found our QB of the future along with two strong CBs who will only get better. Solai is playing well and even if he doesn't become our #1 DT he will be an excellent backup that will add good depth to the position. Wake is a beast on the pass rush and with one more offseason under his belt he may be pushing for a starting role. How bout that Randy Starks?! And he's still relatively young which will give Merling a couple more years to develop into the player we all hope he can be. O-line is solid with some quality depth but we could definitely use one maybe two more pieces to solidify the unit. Hartline and Bess are going to be EXCELLENT complimentary players and I believe if the team can find one star wideout our offense is going to be a force in the next couple of years. What can be said about Polite? The guy is money! Henning, as much as we get pissed at the guy I do believe he's one of the brightest minds coordinating an offense in the NFL. Problem is he outsmarts himself sometimes by trying to get to fancy or tricky when the play/situation calls for simplicity by doing what you do best. I'm hoping he learns from his miscues this year and comes out strong in 2010. Unfortunately it's not all good as I don't believe Gibril is the answer at FS and that needs to be addressed. So overall eventhough there are three games left I believe we found out a hell of a lot about this team in 09'. They're starting to turn that corner and the future looks bright. See ya people and GO DOLPHINS!!!!!

How close are the Dolphins to being SB contenders? Is it 2010? 2011?

Menace , i see you got my prediction. You're RIGHT ! global warming My azzzzzzz !

Pat White will NEVER be a starting NFL QB and that is a fact. It doesn't make sense to play this guy. It's either no yards or minus yards, not to mention putting Henne in a 3rd and long. Thigpen would make sense if you want to run any sort of option. That is, if you want to gain some yards.

The only thing I can think of, is Parcells said play him no matter what. In some wierd way, Parcells must think this justifies drafting him.

Nice post. Its very refreshing to meet football minds that actually have a "real" pulse for the team. I look forward to reading more of your posts in the future.

Dying buffoon go home. you nasty

DyingBreed I think you should go to sleep now,the P.white post was not one of your better.6-7 year learning curve for white.MAYBE

MANDO we're is todays game BLOG!!!! wake up dude :)

Looks like Mando is having technical problems! Let's start the blog here...

Great start by the Dolphins. Hopefully we can convert this 3rd and 8...

vontae is such a ball hog

id go for it. loooouuuu

quick 3 points...giddiup!!

At least we got a field goal to reward the V. Davis Int. 3-0 Phins. Had a 4th and 2 at the Tenn. 5, but coach decided to playe it safe.
Good start.

First big pass play from TENN. And a big run play afterwards. 1st and 10 at the Phins 40

I think this is where somebody on the blog normally has a meltdown and starts screaming that somebody should be cut/fired/beaten with a stick. Maybe still too early for that, though

OK. Looks like our D is back to old form. The Titans drove 81 yards in 10 plays...TENN 7-3 on top.

Amazing letting a fukin loser like Young beat us. We suck, cut everybody, fire Sparano. AaaaaaaH! Goodbye playoffs.

Wow, you gave up pretty quick.

gerbil smoked again on the td pass. and surprise surprise Ted Ginn runs into the only defender within 5 yards of him. WTF?!

That's great Gibril and Jones are going to be the death of us today. They are keying on Nate Jones a lot. Really wish Will Allen didn't get hurt. I also hope Mando's okay.

Lousaka makes me happy...ha ha ha

I suspect Armando is busy killing somebody in IT

I think the Dolphins need to thaw out a bit.

The offense isn't doing crap. The field goal was a gift from TENN. Our receivers are nowhere to be seeing. Where the hell is Ginn? Bess and Camarillo are catching passes...out of bounds! WILL THE REAL DOLPHIN RECEIVER PLEASE STAND UP!!!

Armando got his wish with Ginn returning punts.

Nice fumble Ginn. Can't imagine why they don't want the guy returning punts. WHAERE IN THE HELL IS THE LIVE BLOG?! LOL. I said I was going to start coming back and participating and everyone dissapeared! I must need a shower.

ITS THE U*SUAL LOSERS sucking on the BIG FAT ONE today.

looks like we need a little more hands work
