NASHVILLE -- The Dolphins have a playoff berth on the line today and they are laying an egg.
They have failed to get in the end zone despite two trips inside the red zone.
Chad Henne has thrown an interception. Ricky Williams has lost a fumble.
And Justin Gage has burned the Miami secondary for two touchdown catches.
Terrible. It's 17-6, Titans.

There's no way I'm convinced Tennessee is the better team.
Posted by: Jay-Mo | December 20, 2009 at 02:30 PM
Why can't we take shots into the end zone? Why Fat ass Sparano? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
Posted by: FB | December 20, 2009 at 02:30 PM
We looked awful in the 1st! Better things in the 2nd. I hope?
Posted by: D-dense | December 20, 2009 at 02:30 PM
Bench ginn... He's not even trying to return a kick...
Posted by: Aofinforlife | December 20, 2009 at 02:30 PM
Sparano needs to put a foot in their azzes..... They are playing like they don't know the importance of this game..... Let's go....

Oh so familiar - young team with its share of good plays splattered in btween with game changing plays for the opponetns.

Atleast we get the ball at start of 2nd half.
Posted by: Crosswinds | December 20, 2009 at 02:31 PM

let's face it guys, the titans are just a better team, as we've thought about all week. Let's hope for the best and some luck.
Posted by: Richard3000 | December 20, 2009 at 02:32 PM
not holding but false start
Posted by: Zach | December 20, 2009 at 02:32 PM
To many mistakes on both sides of the ball right now.
Posted by: DyingBreed | December 20, 2009 at 02:32 PM
Let's go Dolphins from Trieste, Italy. We know you can do it!!!!!
Posted by: Astokos | December 20, 2009 at 02:33 PM
were so worried about CJ (rightfully so) that our secondary is getting burned
Posted by: Zach | December 20, 2009 at 02:33 PM
the dolphins have to find a way to get rid of ted ginn jr, some much praise for his speed, the guy is scare of getting hit, on those kick off returns he was trying to find the sideline so bad. and henne, he needs a deep threat definitely. u cant move the ball wit a whole bunch of slot recievers on the field at the same time
Posted by: moises | December 20, 2009 at 02:33 PM
Dolphins will have to take some chances to pressure young into mistakes...but risk a big play to do it. Not a good place to be in.
Posted by: pancanfinfan | December 20, 2009 at 02:33 PM
Justin Gage is lighting us up, wait till next week when Andre comes home to Miami
Posted by: Standley23 | December 20, 2009 at 02:33 PM
Ok guys we will win this game let's all think positive that we will win try it let's go fins!!!

I wonder if Pat Turner can do KR & PR? Then Deactivate Ginn.
Posted by: pancanfinfan | December 20, 2009 at 02:34 PM
VY -- 7-15, 150 yards, 2 TD, 1 Int
Johnson -- 14 rushes 71 yards; 1 rec 41 yards
Think its just how great they are, or that we are playing poorly?
Posted by: mntmanfinfan | December 20, 2009 at 02:34 PM
wheres cam wake when you need him

Posted by: Forsythe | December 20, 2009 at 02:34 PM
Turnovers again killing us, now twice within scoring territory...WTF.
Good news is that we are only down 11 with the ball to start the second half. We need a TD drive to open the 2nd half!!!
ComeOn go grab that Mo back Phins!
Posted by: GetterDone Phins! | December 20, 2009 at 02:35 PM
How can you playoff birth be on the line and they lay an egg? Terrible.
Nobody ever steps up with super-human efforts on the team.
Geez...I am glad we do not have any divas.

shut up standley 23 you apostate
Posted by: primetime | December 20, 2009 at 02:35 PM
Big 2nd half coming up. Let's put the ball in Henne's hands with time to throw. Hoepfully Sparano let them have it and they come out on fire. Let's go FINNS!
Posted by: dany | December 20, 2009 at 02:35 PM
DOLPHINS OFFENSE, 6 POINTS IN THE PAST 4 QUARTERS. PATHETIC!!!!
Posted by: Earl | December 20, 2009 at 02:35 PM
Wild Pat inside the 10??? This has to end!!!
Posted by: PMTamayo | December 20, 2009 at 02:35 PM
If we dont score a td on our opening drive expect to see very heavy doses of Chris Johnson for the rest of the day. I wouldnt be surprised to see him hit the 200yd rushing mark.
Posted by: DyingBreed | December 20, 2009 at 02:35 PM
no way is Tennessee a better team. We would be way ahead without bonehead play calling in red zone and turnovers. Clean those up this half and we score a lot of points. We handed over two possible touchdowns with turnovers in the redzone. Going for field goals wasnt so smart either
Posted by: finfan23 | December 20, 2009 at 02:35 PM
We need to play alot better this next 30min because if we don't kiss our division hopes good bye and our wild card....no more minus plays please Miami
Posted by: Finsfan1989 | December 20, 2009 at 02:35 PM
Wow the Fins really need something on BOTH offense and defense....No spark on offense, no playmaker, just plain average.
On defense no playmaker, no stops on third and long, giving up big plays.
Geesh.
Posted by: DEFinFan | December 20, 2009 at 02:36 PM
NOW FOR FINS TO GO TO THE PLAYOFFS THEY NEED AN ACT OF GOD LIKE SWITCHING FROM HENNE TO TOM BRADY WITHOUT ANY NOTICING.
Posted by: GOpats | December 20, 2009 at 02:36 PM
Mando
TENN has one of the worst secondaries in the league, why aren't we challenging them? Why not deep pass? the ONE we did throw semi deep went to Hartline for a nice gain. We GOTTA get the ball down field, be more of a quick strike O. GRIND IT out when we have a lead.

Need a big return to set the tone!! How can he look so great against the Jets and now can't reach the 20??
Posted by: Robbyhenz | December 20, 2009 at 02:37 PM
We need an experienced player on Offense , that can step up, and "lead"!
Posted by: Hd2463 | December 20, 2009 at 02:37 PM
Josh cribbs tied ginns ko return record. Poor Ginn. When it rains it pours.
Posted by: Bigwillystyle | December 20, 2009 at 02:37 PM
Wow Brittany Murphy dead at 32 from a heart attack. Was she a Fin fan?
Posted by: MsCuba | December 20, 2009 at 02:37 PM
well i know if the dolphins lose today they will win the next 2. cause it wont matter. lets hope they can get it together and pull this one out.
Posted by: dave | December 20, 2009 at 02:37 PM
Where is Wake bro common.
Lets go deep and lets get some 3 and outs
Keys to the second half ofcourse shut down cage and the rb
Posted by: primetime | December 20, 2009 at 02:37 PM
OK. It's crunch time! Let's go DOLPHINS! Let it fly!!!
Posted by: Jules | December 20, 2009 at 02:38 PM
Why can't the Fins surprise us with mega-efforts and put teams away. They suck so bad.
They are not even close today.
Posted by: Wayne Fontes | December 20, 2009 at 02:38 PM
I think going to the hurry up, Henne in shotgun is the change we need right now...I don't expect it by any stretch, but I think it might just do the trick...
Posted by: mntmanfinfan | December 20, 2009 at 02:38 PM
Put in Clemons at saftey!!! I can't take Wilson getting burnt anymore!!!
Posted by: nighttrain76 | December 20, 2009 at 02:38 PM
Why so many idiots bashing Ginn. He hasnt had a turnover, dropped pass, or anything to that nature. Everyone else is responsible for us losing right now.
Are you guys idiots or just blind?
Posted by: DyingBreed | December 20, 2009 at 02:38 PM
We need second half heroics again
Posted by: Pdolfan | December 20, 2009 at 02:38 PM
The Dolphins coaches are cowards, Polite should have been given the rock on the 4th and 1 that resulted in a field goal. We cannot settle for field goals when Young is throwing for TDs. What is the point of scoring field goals and still losing the game?
Ricky fumbled but we have to keep giving him the ball, he is our best option at RB.
Posted by: Dave | December 20, 2009 at 02:38 PM
Score now or its over. Kiss it goodbye.
Posted by: gairc | December 20, 2009 at 02:39 PM
If Miami doesn't score at least FG on the first dirve of the second half, I'm popping in Super Tecmo Bowl and lighting up the Houston Oilers with Marino!
