NASHVILLE -- The Dolphins have a playoff berth on the line today and they are laying an egg.
They have failed to get in the end zone despite two trips inside the red zone.
Chad Henne has thrown an interception. Ricky Williams has lost a fumble.
And Justin Gage has burned the Miami secondary for two touchdown catches.
Terrible. It's 17-6, Titans.

Henne has made some awful decisions at critical times this year. I'm not sure he is the answer. At least the Dolphins didn't string us along another 2 weeks. Season's over. Too many mistakes, as they have been doing all year.

Can our d please make a tackle
Posted by: Njdolphinfan | December 20, 2009 at 03:22 PM
henne threw a bad pass but the design of the play was stupid. the defense saw it coming and throwing to ricky is a dumb idea. its like we have no idea how to score in the red zone so we come up with all these ridiculous plays we don't use the other 80 yards so we can score. we used the wildcat all year in the redzone and scored consistently with it. now we have to come up with a new plan and w henning in charge of that, here we are.

Millions of dollars, and they can't tackle
Posted by: Hd2463 | December 20, 2009 at 03:23 PM
Well, we have some work to do...the O coordinator has some soul searching to do...he doesn't have a thoughtful game plan even with the talent he has...makes curious decisions at the wrong time, every time...
D is getting old in the wrong places...need better LB play...another rushing tackle...a nose that can hold up and block two down after down...
Need return specialist...
Obviously need a #1 wideout...
Hope we can get them in the next....decade or so.

Tortured, the only "stinky fish" is between ur mothers legs, which I'm sure have been used by many Dolohin fans in the past

Just remind yourselves we are only 1 1/2 seasons removed from 1-15. Did any of you then think we would be in the running for a playoff spot?! Gotta be patient.

we totally are playing poorly this game, but with a touchdown it is 24-16 and we are in it again. we can turn it around. we need to see that never give up attitude we have shown in other games this year.

things that need to happen--- 1) Must get a quality WR through Free Agency--I'm gonna hope that all these awful INT's are a result of trying to force a play due to lack of speed at WR..GInn can stay as a 4th WR (he'd be great there)
2) DEFENSE UPGRADE-- not sure if Chris Clemmons is the answer at FS, but clearly Gerbil is AWFUL
3) If we run a 3-4, need to get an impact ILB--crowder and ayodele just don't make ENOUGH impact plays, but HOPEFULLY (which can happen if Parcells leaves, we return to the 4-3 defense!)
4)Get lucky in the draft with some late gems...
Unfortunately, I've been making lists like these since I was 9 years old (1984).... One day I am hopeful I'll experience a SuperBowl win :o(

Posted by: big i | December 20, 2009 at 03:35 PM
I believe my inability to fully achieve success in life is directly attributed to the Miami dolphins inability to win a superbowl. I've seen 2 marlins championships and 1 Miami heat championship. Even the Florida panthers went tithe finals. The one team that actually matters to my spiritual evolution hasn't been there since I was 5 years old.
