A postgame one-on-one with Anquan Boldin

NEW ORLEANS --  I promised you I'd try to catch up with Arizona Cardinals receiver Anquan Boldin after this playoff game between the Saints and Cardinals.

I keep my promises.

And the news for Dolphins fans hoping to see Boldin in a Dolphins uniform next season is not great.

Boldin, you see, told me as he walked out of the Arizona locker room that he will not request a trade this offseason.

"No," Boldin told me following Arizona's 45-14 loss to New Orleans said. "I'm going to let it play out."

Boldin is under contract to Arizona for the 2010 season at a scheduled pay of $3 million. It is the final year of his deal. And considering he's a 1,000-yard caliber receiver, he believes he has been underpaid for some time and wants the deal redone.

Because of that, Boldin has, through his agents, asked for a new contract and even requested to be traded in the past when a new contract didn't come.

That approach is apparently changing for Boldin.

"I can't do anything one way or the other," he said. "If I go to them and request a trade, it don't matter. I'm under contract for another year. So no matter what I say or do, that won't change anything. I'm under contract for another year. So whatever happens, it depends on what the Cardinals want to do. I'm not worried about it at all."

Boldin also has no concern about the perception he's become injury-prone. He'll be 30 years old in October and missed these playoffs due to knee and ankle issues.

"I'm fine," he insisted. "I don't have anything that requires surgery or anthing. I'm fine."

Boldin knew when he was speaking with me he was talking to a Florida constituency because I told him I work for The Miami Herald. I asked him if he's ever thought about coming back to his home state of Florida and playing for the Dolphins.

"I've always been concentrating on my team," he said. "I can only help the Cardinals and that's it."

F. '. C. K!!!

Fill Simms is happier than rex.

What are the Chargers doing? The Jets are there for the taking

Like Armando said good teams go straight to the end zone I'm predicting three and out

I'm at a loss for words...

Turner needs to be slapped with the powder

i swear i was gonna call that INT. but felt maybe i was just being a sourpuss. honest.

the refs will help nyj overcome sanchez.

SD "body-language" = LOSERS.

Can you freaking imagine the Jets here, in our Locker, practicing in the Saban Bubble?!?!@?

Oh Lordy, where is Your Mercy!

Ray Anderson needs to slap the chargers around a little bit!!!

Say it aint so Seer!

seer , they first have to go to indy.

That penalty means they can run into end zone or do a run/pass bootleg option.

Incredible, this shouldn't even have been a game...

This break should give the chargers gm time to get the baby powder to slap turner

got to go get the gag bag ready, NORVE u sucker, chargers u Fu#kers!!!

THAT's 15 yds!!!!

how da hell did san diego beat us?

Phil simms threw those passes many times in his career... Ints!!!!

Please God only 3

D needs to hold

Hold by 23...

Offensive pass interference...

Hate the jets! Hate the jets!

like i said....bootleg pass to give him a clear lane & avoid rush

Turner should burn in Hell for this.

Getting out the horseshoe "Peyton's Place" gear soon.

This sucks

Why does everbody insist on giving the sorry ass jets free wins!!!!!!

Unbelievable, back into the playoffs because other team lays down for them and now they are a problem, even though they suk

We still have the entire fourth quarter. FYI you guys would kill yourself if you were here someone may burn this place down

Turner should have powder all over his face right now.. He blows

" How the hell did san diego beat us " . Because Miami is not that good .

chargers r turning out to be just a bunch a flat liners in the playoffs,PATHETIC, how the hell do u let the jets hang around in this game, even if they do win this game, there's no way either will beat indy.

Norve you dick!

San Diego ball, wheeeee

Norv turner is right there because he knows his Job is gone if he doesn't win... Powder time!!!!

Another week of my boycott of NFLnet, ESPN & Sid Rosenberg & etc.

The only thing worse than a Jets victory is the weeklong droolfest over them on the nets.

3& out or TO?

Why are the givin it to TL?

Crowd should be booing!!!

They keep Throwing away 1st down on their sorry ass 2 yard runs!!

What the hell is amp

they oughta give it to TL, whoever the hell he is, cuz he can't do any worse!

Anybody got some Rex Ryan fat jokes?

Try ising the & sign. Then you'll know what it means

Yea just stare at him!!!!

Someone needs to wake up or this game is toast...San Diego looks stunned

i wonder if SD still thinks rivers is their savior for this team, another int and they'll probably have their answer.

I'm still shocked that we put up over 60 points on the Jets but every other team seems to stuggle against them

LOL @ Seer, if my heart was not so sad...

OMG! Break out the band......First Down!

Look at the dejection after that sack, only down by 3!!

Jesus, I'm getting sick

yes.they look scared & beat and are playing that way, too. Heartless west coast slackers.

Rivers sucks.. I mean seriously he sucks.. What a joke... He makes sage rosenfels look good

Fire Norve!

Rex Ryan is so fat when he wears a red sweater kids think he is the Kool-Aid picher.

somewhere Dree Brees is laughing......and he was already pretty damn happy to begin with!

I thought Miami was short on talent.. San Diego make us look fairly good... They are horrible!!!!

Mark , miami offense did nothing against the jets in the 2nd game. 2 ko returns and a Jason taylor return for a td.

Sorry, Fire Norv! and TL.... :(
