Dez Bryant to Dolphins? Bwaaahhaaahhaaa

I know everyone covets a top-flight wide receiver in the coming draft to get the Dolphins offense airborne. The odds of that receiver being named Dez Bryant just became astronomical.

Forget for a moment that Bryant is supremely gifted and could be gone before Miami picks at No. 12.

Forget for a moment that Bryant missed most of the 2009 season after being suspended by the NCAA and has played only 28 college games. The Dolphins have issues with investing high picks on players with questionable backgrounds and limited experience.

But if those don't hurt Bryant's chances of landing in Miami, consider he has hired agent Eugene Parker, and that seriously affects those chances. Parker, in case you don't remember, was the agent for Michael Crabtree.

And Crabtree conducted a 2009 rookie holdout until October 7 because Parker and the San Francisco 49'ers were not agreed on the rookie's worth. The 49'ers wanted to pay Crabtree the slot price of what the No. 10 should get. Parker argued Crabtree had Top 3 talent and should be paid like it.

What do you think Miami will do if it faces a similar negotiating stance?

Here's what I think: Bill Parcells and Co. will likely avoid the issue altogether.

Dolps fired Pasq????

d

I think we pick Bryant number 12 IF... Mcclain is off the board. He is the most logical choice. I think if Mcclain is off the board(and likely will be) Parcells will draft Bryant or trade down. Especially if Wilfork makes the right move and comes south. With a LEGIT reviever we can become the division champs again. Draft Bryant, pickup Wilfork, get a new safety(Free Agents), and draft 2 defensive players in the second round and we are set

Never use Dolphins and Tortured in the same sentence. It was a slight.

Hmmm, the Pasqualoni firing surprised me a little. Not because I think he did a good job but more because I thought they would give him a chance with some players.

But I guess if you aren't part of the solution, you're part of the problem. There's some of the ruthlessness people were calling for.

You can only cover for your buddies for so long. There may some hope yet.

This one of the positives with this group if they believe they have a made a mistake they don't forgo fixing unroll near impossible they will be the first ones to admit to it an correct , I.e. Wilford and Roth

Mando said this "Don't expect either offensive coordinator Dan Henning or defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni to be going anywhere." however he also said he could not say this 100% for sure.

DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-fense.

What would DB bring, 50 catches *maybe*?

Big whoop.

Overpriced, over pampered, crybaby rookies.

Screw 'em.

Ummm daddio dez Bryant would bring what Ted ginn couldn't . Speed yo reciever positon but not only that he would make corners and safetys play back and watch the deep threat opening up the run game and the tight ends in the seam

Jncrdn is right.

1 choice= Mcclain
2nd Choice= Dez Bryant

no other player left on the board would fit our needs, is worth the 12th pick

When will Ted(Vertigo) Ginn be let loose???

TEBOW, TEBOW, TEBOW!

Trade Ginn!!!
Draft Bryant, he can return kicks too!!!!(He had a punt return touchdown his junior year, but was suspended after his 3rd game, he had 323 recieving yards.)
and Daddio, I believe Andre Johnson, Larry Fitz,Brandon Marshall, etc were all rookies at some point. I doubt any of those teams regret those picks.

Ted Vertigo Ginn lol for real!!!
Mice one

Armando,

Weren't you saying Pasqui would be back? I seem to recall you were pretty CONFIDENT that both coordinators would be back. Looks like you were wrong.

I doubt that if we draft bryant we would release ginn just because of the cap hit we would get and sometimes it is just beter to let the guy just be a reciever and not have to worry about anything else

watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sXYiZjT038

After this video try and tell me he's not worth the pick. Reminds me of a younger version of Brandon Marshall

This firing doesn't sound like something Parcells would do. Parcells is a narcissist. He will never admit being wrong. I think we finally have an owner with BALLZ. Or maybe Shula finally stepped up. If that's the case expect the Tuna to quit here shortly.

they both will be ......REPLACED .

Heck, Parcells and Ireland threw Tony under the bus to inform the world of this firing.

Jncrdn,

With no cba, the Dolphins can drop whoever they like without taking a cap hit (ahem... Wilson)

Aloco,

Jackalope grows donkeys on his farm

Nice...It appears the owner wants to win now and not later.

i know carito,he also grows monkeys in his azzzzz .

I'm so happy to see Miami taking control of this division. It's wide open for the taking. And it all starts with coaching.

My hat is off to you Mr. Ross and J-Lo!

NJPHIN Fan

Dont know what your watching or drinking but I agree with you about Cody but Taylor Mays lmao!
Fist hes been playing hurt all year. Second hes had to cover more ground because he has alot of newbies at the linebacker spot and cb's. And lastly he should have come out last year when he had that great season and didnt have to pick up the slack for anyone. I have seen him play at the Coliseum down in southern Cali, and away games on tv.
Now I know your stuck on your boy from Tennessee Berry but I bet Mays goes before Berry who is a very good player. Mays is bigger faster stronger, that said Berry has that natural instinct to play that position ala Ed Reed from Baltimore. Nothing wrong with Mays.
Now I've seen Cody play many times national tv, and hes another fridgerator perry and not as good. He needs to lose some weight and is to slow. That I will agree with.

Donkeys huh? How did you know? I make a lot of money selling my donkeys to the Dolphins management.

Sorry typos: First

Its ok though guys. I'm sure Parcels has a few aces up his sleeve ... there has to be another Gibril Wilson available, maybe even a WIlford if you're lucky. And cross your fingers- you douche bags might actually get another gem like Pat White in the draft.

I think they wont leave it to chance. If he is the player they covet, and he ends up making it to them, my guess is that they will have already gotten a feel for what they can expect out of Parker and either feel its not going to be an issue, or move on to whoever the next player is/move out of the pick.

Hey guess what losers ... 1st place schedule and actual competition = stinky fish fighting with the Bills for last place. Its what happens when you guys don't get to squeak out wins against the likes of KC, OAK, STL, and SEA. NO PLAYOFFS FOR YOU!!!!

Too cold to work the truck stop I guess or his belly is too full of jizz to continue.

One thing for sure, this person names Jackalope is much more smart to Bill Parcell and the other guy NJ Phin Fan and Tuna Helper and Armando.

Jackalope, where a person can go to see article wrote by you or watch football team that you build?

to be or not to be ? that's the question .

Hey jackalope one of ur donkeys got loose on here.

Jackalope did you ever write one book about your knowledge?

Both coordinators will be back because they are coaching the Senior Bowl?

Bwaaahhaaahhaaa

This all coming from a team that COVETED:

PAT FREAKING WHITE !!!

BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I heard the only thing he hit with a football this year was Parcels golf cart (true story - both the ball hitting Parcels golf cart and Parcels being too fat to walk).

Keep plugging White in there - its good for the rest of the AFC East.

BTW, is see you guys are now stocking your roster with CFL players. You know you suck when ....

Hey Mando, how about a story about the Dolphins stock piling BC Lions (CFL Team) because the talent is so terrible here.

Ever heard of Centralia? Ever heard of Wake Forest? Ever heard of the XFL?

think about it and connect the dots.

You know you suck( d i c k) when you are TorturedDolphan at a truckstop.....

Actually, most of the said "jizz" is in the other end.

Tortured is a monkey ,he is a donkey and monkey .what say you po white trash ?

He is an expert Jizz guzzler.

Could be could be only off by one letter and you see the same thing when you lift their tails.

Jackalope,

Where you one time a Janitor at Wake Forest and then biggest XFL fan who was sad when nobody like that garbage joke for a league and you went into hiding until now and only come out in hope for Tuna leaving and Wake at ILB?

Books are for people who escape into the reality that is false. What I do amounts to real life and not books.

Only book I ever read is The Football Coaching Bible.

Tortured Dolphins Motto:

Have pole will puff.

What about non fiction that is not false reality unlike a lot of what your posting.

Well its been a slice girls.

Enjoys watching the Jets this weekend. You will see a few things that the Dolphins haven't had since the 80s:

1) D (and no it doesn't count when Zach Thomas and JT used to choke in every big game the Dolphins ever played - sorry you will have to go back to the Killer Bs - remember OAK, DEN, and JAX in the 90s??? - I do)

2) A competent head coach (and no JJ collecting his retirement checks at the expense of your owner doesn't count)

3) A legit deep threat at WR

Sit back and enjoy!

Jackalope,

Books contain the knowledge and culture of all mankind. This kind of thing is wasted on the ignorant and classless.

Jackalope sounds like the skinny little kid with asthma whose mommy never let him play ball with the big boys

Yeah...I was a janitor. Part of my duties was to point out the serious errors that were being perpetrated at the expense of our team.

PS...as a janitor...I was getting paid more than the head coach was.

Sure was nice beatin the Jets three times in a row.

We beat the Jets like TorturedDolphan beats his meat....

Blistered and often...

Jackalope was the maestro of the London Silly Nannies
