Evan Oglesby continues string of bad luck

Evan Oglesby has been sick, he's been injured, he's been cut, he's been re-signed. On Tuesday evening he suffered another setback in his attempt to make the Dolphins roster.

The fifth-year cornerback suffered what looked to be some sort of leg injury during the closing minutes of practice. He sustained the injury to the right leg after breaking up a pass.

Oglesby lay on the turf inside the Nick Saban Memorial Bubble (NSMB) for nearly a minute as trainers rushed to his side. They eventually helped him up and carried him off the field and into the locker room.

Tough break.

Center Jake Grove (bruised bone in a knee) is still not practicing this afternoon. Patrick Cobbs, nursing a hamstring, was back at practice this afternoon.

If there is a T-Storm within 10 miles of the Nova facility they call practice until it is gone. Satan demanded the facility be built and then left before he ever used it... Now do you get the joke?

The name listed on the property record is "The Miami Dolphins Indoor Training Facility"

I somehow doubt they will change the name...

As far as the Artificial turn goes, it does suck... but our Division rivals all play on it in their stadiums so practice on that material is a good thing. They will at least be accustomed to the material when they play on it in games.

From what I saw at Camp and what I have read Misi looks great. The 4 times I have been down to Nova I have seen Misi in or around nearly every play coming his way. He is up against One of the better LT in the game so that will keep a rookie at bay for a while, but with the speed and ability Misi has to get off blocks I see him doing very well. He's a rookie, he will need to develop. Crowder is also doing well with Dansby taking some of the Play calling and Defensive unit Management off his plate. Carroll is a great surprise and it would be great having traded Ginn for the pick we used on Carrol if he turned out to be starter material. Until Sean Smith proves he has what it takes in the long Haul... Nolan Carroll will be a great source of competition.
