OK, here it is -- the first Miami Dolphins depth chart of the preseason. It is official from the team -- unlike all those others floating around that are not.

It is also tentative because, with four preseason games on the schedule, folks can move up and down. As I reported earlier, you'll notice Joe Berger is listed as the starter for the Saturday night preseason opener against Tampa Bay at Sun Life Stadium.

I'd have kept Ginn over a #5 pick. Kept him as a pure returner and occasional wide out. In his defense, not his fault he was selected so early, and also, he went through a different offensive coordinator and/or quarterback every year. Even the top receivers take a few years to get there and that is typically with the same offense and qb. Besides Cobb and Bess were less than average on returns so why waste their energy on that when someone that was more of a threat was already on board.

Technically, that's not completely true. I almost hate to say it, but Jason Allen played FS in 2007. Personally I believe he's actually a better FS than CB. He had virtually no help in front of him that year, and yet played decently. But perhaps he's not the prototypical size for a FS in the Parcells scheme.
