MINNEAPOLIS -- The only way the Vikings could get back in today's game after the Dolphins took a 14-0 lead late in the third quarter was to beat themselves.
That means turnovers.
Ricky Williams fumbled inside his own 10 yard line and provided the opportunity.
The Viking capitalized with a TD run from Adrian Peterson.
And now this game is 14-7, Miami, and will be decided in the fourth quarter.
Join me for the final quarter of the live blog.

Dolphins defense is on their heels. Two 12 men on the field penalties in same series.
What's happening?

Posted by: test | September 19, 2010 at 03:11 PM
AP will wear them out.
I'm just a little upset with all those points we left on the field in the first half.
Posted by: Los Lobos | September 19, 2010 at 03:11 PM
Total and complete meltdown by our defense. Hey great job again Ricky. Nicely done. You are going to cost us the game.
Posted by: FB | September 19, 2010 at 03:12 PM
two 12 man calls in a row? WTF???
Posted by: Mumakata | September 19, 2010 at 03:12 PM
Hey ... but didn't they give us three fun quarters where we THOUGHT we might win.
Posted by: zaphod | September 19, 2010 at 03:12 PM

Everybody get inside! The wheels are coming off and you don't want to get hit by one of them!
Posted by: FormFactor | September 19, 2010 at 03:13 PM
The momentum that belonged to the Dolphins throughout the game has shifted.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 19, 2010 at 03:14 PM
We also get to add to the vaunted Favre mystique where he bravely trounces our team thanks to our (completely incompetent) offense.
Posted by: zaphod | September 19, 2010 at 03:14 PM
D is getting tired O has not helped them up.....O will have 1 drive to prove themselves
Posted by: kris | September 19, 2010 at 03:14 PM
Please don't be 2009 all over again where our defense cant hold the lead.....PLEASE
Posted by: DMAN | September 19, 2010 at 03:14 PM
Boy this is crazy. I don't know what to say.
Posted by: FB | September 19, 2010 at 03:14 PM
I know what to say: it's a good thing for the Fins Favre didn't show up to training camp.
Posted by: FormFactor | September 19, 2010 at 03:15 PM
About time for a Favre interception.
Posted by: Mumakata | September 19, 2010 at 03:15 PM
Wheres ball at?
Posted by: KS | September 19, 2010 at 03:15 PM
HOLD THE LINE!!!!
Posted by: kris | September 19, 2010 at 03:15 PM
See, this is what is frustrating ... we have all this momentum in the early part of the game ... and our offense stinks on ice and does NOTHING with that momentum. Win or lose ... they should make the offense practice IMMEDIATELY after this game!
Posted by: zaphod | September 19, 2010 at 03:15 PM
The officials are giving the Vikings the spot because they actually had it on third down.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 19, 2010 at 03:15 PM
we got robbed
Posted by: Los Lobos | September 19, 2010 at 03:16 PM
Wow, that leap over Chris Clemons was the best run I've seen in years in person.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 19, 2010 at 03:17 PM
We don't have a Peterson-when can we get one?
Posted by: David | September 19, 2010 at 03:17 PM
The officials are going to give the Vikings the spot because it has to fit the "Favre" narrative. No one in the sports media wants to write that the Vikings are 0-2 ... it just doesn't fit the stories they've already written.

Tyler Thigpen has no production in this game or this season for that matter.
Why is he still on the team Mando?
Pat White had no production as a backup and that's why he had to go right Mando?
Posted by: PriceMaster | September 19, 2010 at 03:21 PM
we can put the vikes away on this drive.
Posted by: Los Lobos | September 19, 2010 at 03:21 PM
Go team go-crush-kill-destroy!
Posted by: David | September 19, 2010 at 03:21 PM
Win or Lose they have got to change the Offensive play calling. Henne has like 100 yards. You can't consistently win when you QB is throwing for under 200 yards. Miami has had chances after chance to put this game away and the conservative play calling has kept the Vikings in the game the whole time.
Posted by: /Facepalm | September 19, 2010 at 03:21 PM
What can Henne do now? Oh yeah, hand off.
