MINNEAPOLIS -- We're back from the Miami Dolphins locker room and I guess I could start typing a bunch of quotes that would give you the mood of the team following today's 14-10 victory over the Vikings.
But as you know, a picture is worth a thousand words. So consider the following video posted at Jeff Darlington's website as your view of the happenings in the happy locker room of a 2-0 Miami team:

Dolphins All day. 2-0!

What are the odds of that hot chick from that Mexican station(The one that tweeterd how offensive the jets were. Then again have you seen her????) being in south fla. next sunday night>>>>>>>>

BTW, I've got her on my Screen saver..... Thats how hot she is........

Miami.....my hats off to the D...they played one hell of a game......
Posted by: kris | September 19, 2010 at 05:57 PM
Punk ass Revis.....gets burnt by Moss and fakes a Hamstring injury....I guess thats called playing like a jet
MAN UP REVIS AND TAKE SOME BUTTER WITH THAT TOAST.
WHY NOT US!!!!!!
Posted by: kris | September 19, 2010 at 05:59 PM
Actually Kris he's actually hurt. He left the game after that play and I don't think he's been back out since. Hopefully he misses next week but I doubt it.
Jets scare me next week. I think it's another game the defence is going to have to step up. But I'm going to enjoy this one for awhile Loved seen Brett Ego having to pick himself off the turf all day. Looks good on the guy!! Hope he's sorry he came back.
Cheers guys!!

The D looked great against a pretty good offense. The O showed a flashs of what it will be when it gets a little more in sync, eliminate the fumbles and Henne getting rid of it a second or two quicker and they put up another 21 pts. All in all a gritty win.
Posted by: Dolphan in Vegas | September 19, 2010 at 06:04 PM
Our offense is disgusting right now. We are ultra conservative in the passing game.. we have no number 2 receiver (Hartline is garbage). If we have any chance of being a legit playoff team, this offense needs to start playing a hell of a lot better.
Posted by: Jason Q | September 19, 2010 at 06:09 PM
Jason, the I is definitely missing next to your Q there.
Hartline scored our ONLY offensive TD today.
Troll on Dumb Sheet!

Posted by: ALoco | September 19, 2010 at 06:15 PM
dude hartline scores a TD and you think hes pro? so what? did you watch the second half? Im not trollin dude. I am a huge fan. he cannot get open.. Give Moore more reps please.. Hartline is not that good.

Defense was awesome. High motor. Complex. Hard tackling. The secondary so many of us worried about played well. Jason Allen has become the player we all hoped for when we drafted him. Dansby rules. Misi and Wake have more than replaced JT and Porter. Young, Intense. Offense made no errors. Running game is solid (fumbles uncharacteristic, bad luck) and OL did well against the best run defense in the league. Henne made a nice connection with Marshall - looking for a few plays like that in future games. Special teams played well. Offense good enough to win. It will improve as timing improves. I like our chances with the Jets. Go Phins!!!!!!!!

Vontae Davis = LOCK DOWN!
Revis Island is more like fantasy Island, Vontae is Pro Bowl Bound.
Carlos Dansby = Free Agent signing of the year.
Cam Wake = Trouble for everybody else.
Jason Allen = PRICELESS? WTF?
Note: Jason Allen has single handedly lowered my armchair General Manager ranking. Way to go JA!

WHERES TEST??? 2-0 baby!!! WOW, We need to get a lot better on O, What up with the fumbles, imagine if we play a clean game!!!! Jets look much better this week, no excuses, time to be 3-0!!!
Posted by: poizen | September 19, 2010 at 06:20 PM
congrad to defensive players and coaches. fire offensive coaching staff. o play calling is terrible.

Armando is keepin it real, you guys need to keep your heads. Our offense is in the tank right now. Its GROSS. Henne completed 9 PASSES... that is disgusting in the NFL guys. I want this team to be a real contender in the playoffs. Henning needs to open this thing up more and GIVE RONNIE THE DAMN BALL PLEASE FFS!
Posted by: Jason Q | September 19, 2010 at 06:21 PM
Jason Q,
Why don't you try and come up with something profound, instead of regurgtiating all the same stuff all these other losers come up with. Your right, we should give up now, opur season is over.
Do you realize, brother, that we are 2-0 for the first time since 2002 and that BOTH of our wins came on the road? How come nobody is posting on that. But you don't want to focus on that Jason. You just want to join the masses and complain about Henning and complain about Henne. Honest to God, I don't think some of you guys even deserve a winning football team. Very disappointed in some of you 'so-called' fans.
Posted by: Craig M | September 19, 2010 at 06:21 PM
Offense needs some work but I'll be honest with you, going into a 2 game homestand against the jets ands pats, Home might be right(Again) the fins might be 4 and 0...............God help us all........
Posted by: Cuban Menace | September 19, 2010 at 06:23 PM
BUT THE DEFENSE IS AWESOME...
AND THEY'RE ONLY GOING TO GET BETTER!!!!!!!!!!

Since you put it that way, my apologies. I thought I smelled a troll, my bad.
I think Moore is better than Hartline definitely. I was just sticking up for Hartline cause he came through in the crunch today.

Craig im not bro, your right we are 2 and 0 and im pumped just like you but do you honestly think the offense looked good? Mike Nolan is a defensive genius and thank god we have him around. I think we have the weapons on offense we just havent been utilizing them. I think we have legit team this year it just frustrated me to watch that offense in the second half.

np odinseye i was just ranting about the offense, I am pumped we are 2-0 and craig is right we do go into a hostile Minnesota which no one picked us to win. We have ANOTHER tough defense to match up against this week with the Jets. Lets hope this offense can start clickin
Posted by: Jason Q | September 19, 2010 at 06:31 PM
Jason Q,
A little patience please. The team's not perfect right now but it sure as Hell beats being 0-2, which hopefully the Jets will be today.
Posted by: Craig M | September 19, 2010 at 06:31 PM
leap of faith,
i just watched brady throw an airball to moss, odds favor moss most of the time but this particular time it was intercepted by cromarti. i say airball cause that's exactly what it was, he put it up for grabs knowing the odds greatly favor of moss. what is culpepper doing today(without moss),NOTHING. brady's good but moss has a LOT to do with it. henne knows marshall is just as good but does not know how to use him YET! some one please tell henne that an airball to marshall will produce similar results, and to get big points we need to utilize him CORRECTLY, put the ball up there and let marshall do the work to earn his money. WARNING!! we are not sustaining drives, won't be good enough come playoff time. squeaked out a close one, good win for the defense!

HOME!

What the Hell, the guy predicted we would start 4-0. I'm on the Hommee bandwagon baby!!!!

Posted by: ALoco | September 19, 2010 at 06:34 PM
The Jets are "up" this week - it's hard to get "up" every game in this league - Dolphins home opener - they'll be pumped -
Dolphins 23 - Jets 13
Posted by: PittsburghJim | September 19, 2010 at 06:36 PM
Ok, I've been complaining about Henning's play calling too. But, we're 2-0! We're winning by playing defense and running the ball. So, you don't fix it if it ain't broke! Which really is kinda smart if you think about it. Unless you're in a shoot-out, or behind, there isn't any reason to take the gloves off. That gives you an ace in the hole for when you need it. Teams prepping for Miami see this running game and a fast defence and prepare for that, but not for Marshall taking over a game. And, we've all seen him do that, just not in Miami (yet). Gives a young QB time to settle into the position, manage a game, minimize mistakes, etc. Sounds like a good strategy to me for a long season where you don't want to tip your hand. Did anyone talk about the Wildcat before we shocked the Pats with it? Nope, kept it under wraps.

I thought you had said, in the past, they there was a marriage date.
(Then again...You also said that 'Phin Fan' was indirectly responsible for the two of you meeting.)
I vaguely remember that...

I don't care what anyone says or how you try and slice and dice.
My Grandmother could take this offense to a 10 win season.
A pig in sheet can get up and walk away. Henning is severely stuck in the mud.
I thought Ireland had an arrogance problem.
WTF Dan Henning, I'll buy you a vowel, give you a lifeline and still, you aint got a clue!

2 And 0 Odin................
Posted by: Cuban Menace | September 19, 2010 at 06:45 PM
listen, i am pumped we are 2-0. that said, this team has to learn to put teams away when they have the chance. the coaching staff has to open things up a bit. Henne needs to go deep more. even if it doesnt seem to be open. it just makes the field a bigger area for the opposing D to have to defend. anyway, 2-0 for the first time in a long time. GO FINS!!!!
Posted by: jrljr2 | September 19, 2010 at 06:46 PM
Aloco:
If you want to you can hold some Fund Raisers for Henne...
Besides this guy Still needs to Evolve from a GAME MANAGER to a Complete quarterback.
There are Flashes of Excellence but not enough consistency. We'll have a better idea after about 7 games.
