GREEN BAY -- If you saw today's game, particularly the ending, you didn't see a whole lot of Karlos Dansby on the field.
The Dolphins defensive captain was on the sideline nursing what he thought could be a blown knee. Except the hyper-extended knee has apparently suffered no major damage, according to Dansby.
And the reason Dansby believes the knee is good enough to play another day is because God took care of it. Pure. Simple.
“Man, it scared me, man," Dansby said after the game. "God was with me in that moment. He took care of me. He took care of me in that situation and I thank Him. Anybody else, it would have been a torn ACL or anything like that. Something in the knee would have been torn – bottom line.”
Dansby said he was pushed from behind and as he was falling he got a foot stuck in the ground while the other knee was caught in a pile he could not escape. "It was the scariest thing I've ever been in," he said. "Any kind of situation on the field, that was the scariest one I've ever been in."
But there's no need to fear when God is on your team, Dansby believes.
"My knee is great. I’m blessed," Dansby said. "He took care of me in that moment. He took care of me. And I give him all the praise and the glory.”

THE ONLY TEAM WITH 5-1 IS THE JETS .
THERE'S SOME THING WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE ?????????????

Anyone see the hit on Todd Heap by Brandon Merriweather? Helmet to helmet and totaly BRUTAL! I'm sure Heap had a concusion after that hit. James Harrison knocked out Massoquoi as well. Hopefully both players are ok, and the 2 defenders get suspensions(wishful thinking)

killa, Besides Dansby knee injury, I hear That Channing(Carol)Crowder also sustained a tear to his Vaginal wall, though I cant confirm this, though there's several "Packer" offensive line men that might have caused this injury..... LOL...

ALERT.......FINS SIGNS 2 YEAR EXT W/BESS
Posted by: ALoco | October 17, 2010 at 08:48 PM
Phins are a young team and soon these close losses will turn into wins and close winns will be convincing wins. Defense will start to get a feel for eachother as will Henne and the receivers. You can see that week to week. Tha special teams are and will improve. This team finally has a few individual players that teams have to "game plan" for. Wake, Davis, Marshall, Bess and R&R.
Go Phins!
Posted by: Martin | October 17, 2010 at 08:48 PM
Home is actually quite humble
Only puts a lot of thought into predictions and has fun with It
Predictions r made every day every game all around the country
Let`s not pretend, predictions r not taken very seriously all around the world with Billions being bet on predictions EVERY DAY
So why be timid and why not ASS?

FINS SIGNS 2 YEARS EXT WITH WR BESS
Posted by: ALoco | October 17, 2010 at 08:49 PM
Miami's defense got a lift from the return of Crowder, who hadn't played since the first pre-season game. He made three tackles and filled a leadership role.
"He played inspirational football and he makes me better," said Dansby, who plays on the inside next to Crowder. "His effort was tremendous today."
dansby NEVER said that about carpenter or dobbins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice post Dolphins4Life73
Believe these 2 will truly compliment each other
The whole boat IMO was a bit too much for Crowder to handle defending the best player in the world
Crowder & Capt. Karlos can be a team of LB leaders working together to be emulated by all othe r teams

Home,
Not negative at all If you read most of my post? Which I'm sure you don't because I ain't in the "clique". I usually infuse some stupid humor or play on words in my post. I do this because at times the same point has been beaten to death a billion times and it becomes luaghable after a while. Besides it's a "blog" as in lots of different angles, opinions etc. As with most blogs though there are a few or a couple of people that think they run the whole thing. I have been a Phin fan since 1973 from here in Cali. I will do and say as I please until the "ADMINISTRATOR" says otherwise.
Go Phins! "Vote for Pedro"!

the jets are winning off luck!! how long will their QB keep winning games with less than 200 yrds passing! sure LT looks like the ol LT some games but as the season goes on, he will wear down! sancheeze has finally caught that turnover bug!! its all downhill from here with him! im not worried about the jets, their defense isnt as great as people make it out to be either!!!!! keep and eye on those sneaky pats though!!!!

Home is not like that. He just enjoys making predictions after quite a bit of research and posts them beforehand for credibility. Now please leave the blog if you as usual, are only here wallowing in hatred and self misery. We do not need that here. We are enjoying a Dolphin victory.

home, i've been telling the crazies that channing is not the problem for the last year and a half!! channing as a victim of bad luck and judgement!
1. akin was garbage! period point blank!
2. porter was stuck in his ways(only wanted to rush the QB) and channing didnt have enough pull to get porter to follow him.
3. taylor is not a LB!! DE all day!! even now!
channing was schooled by zack,he knows the game, he know how to prepare and study the game! ray lewis no!! but game as hell!!! channing was trying to do everything for akin and porter plus handle his business! CANT HAPPEN!! what rubbed people the wrong way with channing was when he seemed to side with porter!!
now channing has dansby next to him!! check!!
either misi or wake on the outside, yes they're young and may make mistakes but at less they go full speed and are willing to learn!! check!! all channing has to do is play his responsibilities and help when needed!!check!!

Happy for ST coach RIZZI
Off to a good start today
Carpenter good on FGs
Fields good, think one punt was for 50 yds + we got 10 more on penalty @ crucial time on that punt
Cobbs back in action making tackles, Believe Cobbs made 2 first man down tackles(looked like 2 years ago when Cobbs was leading ST on tackles)
and Nolan Carroll did a great job on KR, gave us good field position and he just took over KR duties last week
Nice day for ST & coach RIZZI

On Henne's INT, Marshall is supposed to come back to the ball, but as he plants his back leg slips so that he remains in place rather than shortening the distance between him and Henne. When Henne let's the ball go, Marshall hasn't slipped yet. NOT ON HENNE!!! Henne haters get over it.
