The Dolphins got the ball inside the 20 yard line after recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff. They kicked a field goal.
Then they recovered a Ben Roethlisberger fumble inside the 20. They kicked a field goal.
Not once did Miami throw the ball in the end zone after the turnovers.
The Dolphins lead 6-0 but it is a tenuous lead. Let's see what happens as the live blog continues in the comments section.

WE HAVE NO EXPLOSION IN OUR OFFENSE. EVERYTHING IS A LONG DRIVE.

Nice catch by Hartline. Doesn't make up for the bobble though. Nice protection too
Posted by: Jimmy Jam | October 24, 2010 at 02:15 PM
Dont be frustrated. Your team sucks. You can't do anything about it. They have no place playing with the likes of the Steelers.
Posted by: TorturedDolphan | October 24, 2010 at 02:15 PM
nice protection. and when they blitz we need some hot routes to counter that.
Posted by: dave | October 24, 2010 at 02:15 PM
Henne has been really good this season at picking up 3rd and long. There is plenty to criticize about him, but he's been good in those situations.

@Elf---yeah, but his Bowling Team buddies ARE the Front Office

What's the deal with the head fakes on these short bubble screens? Just run (Hartline)!
Posted by: Jay-Mo | October 24, 2010 at 02:17 PM
Someone predicted a big game for Hartline
Posted by: Marc | October 24, 2010 at 02:17 PM
I honestly don't think I'm being negative, I lost faith in this team during the NE game. I'm just watching to see the development of this team, but I was expecting this

Posted by: LeGrand | October 24, 2010 at 02:17 PM
NO EXPLOSION AND HENNE'S INABILITY TO THROW THE FADE IN THE ENDZONE ARE THE TOP 2 REASONS WE SETTLE FOR SO MANY FIELD GOALS!

Teams must circle their games in Miami.
Basically a bye week and a vacation. Kind of like going to the pro bowl. Bring the family along, get some sun, play a couple of quarters and put your scrubs in for the second half.
Great vacation for the fans too.
LMFAO.

incognito and mcquistan stink, and for someone whose name is incognito, he sure as heck gets noticed a lot, and not for anything good
Posted by: nyfinfan | October 24, 2010 at 02:18 PM
Wallace caught a pass
Posted by: Marc | October 24, 2010 at 02:18 PM
Miami's runningbacks are dropping with the slightest touch from the Steelers defenders. Coaching staff has given up on the game already, which was illustrated by the replacement of Carroll with Cobbs at KR. Awesome idea guys, let's put the slowest guy on our offense out at kick returner. And I loved the screen to Hartline. Even if Farrior and Woodley weren't there, Polamalu has more than enough speed to stop that screen pass. Henning must have forgotten that we weren't playing the Bills again.

(Emphatic golf clap) ... Come guys, field goal here, come on guys, good job!

Posted by: standley23 | October 24, 2010 at 02:19 PM
get ready for the field goal fist pump
Posted by: test | October 24, 2010 at 02:20 PM
I thought Marlon Moore was a bit more refined than Wallace. THought Wallace was the "project".
Posted by: Marc | October 24, 2010 at 02:20 PM
keep the passing going and the run will open up some. we need a score then come out after halftime and have a nice long drive for another score.
Posted by: dave | October 24, 2010 at 02:20 PM
And judging by the highlights, Mando, they actually threw deep once or twice....and completed it!?!?!
Posted by: LeGrand | October 24, 2010 at 02:20 PM
Its Carpenter time!

Need explain to coach TD counts for 7 and he can celebrate as a FG
Posted by: mobiljorge | October 24, 2010 at 02:20 PM
This has to be a TD drive.
Posted by: fansince72 | October 24, 2010 at 02:20 PM
when we score, do we go for two?
Posted by: grfdolphin | October 24, 2010 at 02:20 PM
@Vince, I agree with you about the slightest touch and fall, but Carrol looked like he got hurt on the last return he took he walked off holding sides (ribs) which is why Cobbs was in
Posted by: nyfinfan | October 24, 2010 at 02:21 PM
ARMANDO,
FLACCO HAS SEEMED TO BE REGRESSING THE LAST FEW WEEKS. HENNE CURRENTLY RANKED HIGHER AMONGST NFL QB'S.
Posted by: DyingBreed | October 24, 2010 at 02:21 PM
Big holes by O-Line, but Ricky too slow getting there. Are our backs playing too deep?
Can't figure it out.
Once through the d-line, no moves, just straight into a a defensive players grip.
Our line deserves better. $-5 years great, sure, but we can NEVER seem to break a big one in a game like this. At this point, not trusting our KO coverage, if we're 4th and goal, we had BETTER go for it.
Posted by: IMAWriter | October 24, 2010 at 02:21 PM
This is a nice answering drive by the offense. A TD with no time left would be big.
Posted by: The New Kid | October 24, 2010 at 02:21 PM
Bess MVP!
