The Dolphins got the ball inside the 20 yard line after recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff. They kicked a field goal.
Then they recovered a Ben Roethlisberger fumble inside the 20. They kicked a field goal.
Not once did Miami throw the ball in the end zone after the turnovers.
The Dolphins lead 6-0 but it is a tenuous lead. Let's see what happens as the live blog continues in the comments section.

Why didn't the dolphins go for two? A field goal would still give them the lead.

nice sack to end the half

That was a great little stand by the defense to end the half. McDaniel is playing pretty well this season.

Hey Sparano...Being a Pro-Bowler does NOT mean dressing like a BOWLER

Overall not too bad. Need to tighten up the Defense, and continue to move the ball on offense. The more this game goes on and Miami is still in it, the more the momentum swings toward Miami.

McDaniel is such an asset if he plays well. His 6"7 is no joke. I think with his cleats on and his dreadlocks he's like 7"6.

THE LIVE BLOG CONTINUES UNDER THE THIRD QUARTER POST.
THIS GAME COULD BE A LOT WORSE THAN WHAT THE SCORE IS CURRENTLY. GOOD WORK BY MIAMI.

16 points in a 1/2 against the Steelers is more than the Titans scored scored in an entire game.
We can run and pass. The key is WHEN to do each one. Henning needs to call the game of his life.
I remember when, for the MOST part the QB called ALL his plays. Paul brown changed thatwhen he shuffled guards in with the play...2 guys, back and forth the entire day. Gene Hickerson, a HOF'er was one of them.

Writer,
Right now it looks like they better lean heavily toward the pass. I'd like to see them chew up yardage and clock, but we might have to take what is there to take, even it goes against Hennings philosophy.
