It's a barn-burner.
The Steelers and Dolphins traded field goals in the third quarter and will settle this game in the fourth quarter.
We'll see if that warm-weather advantage actually has teeth today.
We'll see if the Dolphins can win one at home. Finally.

Posted by: twitter.com/akguy | October 24, 2010 at 03:55 PM
BLIND officials.
Posted by: Angry Elf | October 24, 2010 at 03:55 PM
It was pretty clear when they were taking so long to figure it out, they were trying to figure out who recovered.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | October 24, 2010 at 03:55 PM
OMG....never seen them not find the correct team that recovered...I've been watching 50 years
Posted by: IMAWriter | October 24, 2010 at 03:55 PM
That is some BS!
Posted by: John Oregon Dolphin fan | October 24, 2010 at 03:55 PM

Posted by: test | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
WOW. Hate the determination but it's right. However, don't they clear the pile to see who has recovered the ball???????
Posted by: PansLabia | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
refs gotta quit blowing the whistle and let the play continue. then rule. thats such BS
Posted by: dave | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
There were two Dolphins on top of the ball.
It HAD to be Miami that recovered. That is absolute crap!
Posted by: The New Kid | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
NFL is rigged they want the "STEAL"ers to win
Posted by: heepman | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM

Posted by: Richard3000 | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM

Why didn't the ref deteremin it was miamis ball
BS
Posted by: mike w | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
Using your final timeout here to ice a kicker on a 20yd FG? Dumb
Posted by: Jimmy Jam | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
robbed
Posted by: LeGrand | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
OMG - horrendous! We need a FG to win now - have to get it done. I hate all Referees - they all suck.
Posted by: MattD | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
what a shame. Go Dolphins!!!! Go henne!!!!
Posted by: dolphininparis | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
So, if we fire special teams coaches, why not the official who initially called that a touchdown?
Posted by: Angry Elf | October 24, 2010 at 03:56 PM
I'M ABOUT TO HAVE A F'ING HEART ATTACK
Posted by: Kris | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM

Posted by: dave | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
Fix fix fix fix fix
Posted by: klndry | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM

Posted by: Richard3000 | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
I want to know why the officials didn't determine who had the ball in the end zone at the time of the play?
Posted by: twitter.com/akguy | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
"BUT"
Posted by: Marc | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
Why did we use our last time out!!!!! WTH!
Posted by: fansince72 | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
Francis covered it, Francis got up with it. Officials just gave Pitt 3 points.
Posted by: Jimmy Jam | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
we wuz robbed..........but that's why you don't play for FGS all day, so you have a margin of error
Posted by: LeGrand | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
told ya, once again replay fails once again, somebody give the refs the yellow towel please, and why did we take a timeout again????
Posted by: superPHIN | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
Carpenter would have recovered that fumble.
Posted by: Angry Elf | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
I'm not sure the Dolphins should have burned their last timeout there.
I think I'd rather have on after the 2-minute warning with 1:50 or so to drive the field.
The OL and Henne can't give up a sack now.
Posted by: The New Kid | October 24, 2010 at 03:57 PM
I KNEW THEY WERE TRYING TO SCREW US
Posted by: Kris | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
Armando-why take a time out-if your not even going to TRY to block the field goal?
Posted by: David | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
I don't get it. Why don't they let the play finish and determine who has the ball assume it is ruled a fumble.
Posted by: Lipsintoronto | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
WHy WHY did we use a timeout there!!!
Posted by: CaneLuva | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
fire sparano for wasting the timeout!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: metoodotcom | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM

time to find out if henne is man or boy right here
Posted by: steelgrizzly | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
BS on the recovery part of the review!!!
Posted by: dquezada559 | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
The game is in Henne's hands. Are we hosed?
Posted by: Angry Elf | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
Dolphins are too mistake-prone. You just know our next possession is going to end with a turnover. Bank it.
Posted by: Gatorz4Lyfe | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
This is a total joke. Miami makes a great play and forces a turnover, and because of the ineptitude of the referees to figure out who recovered if it is in fact a turnover, they give the ball back to the Steelers and essentially PUT POINTS ON THE BOARD BY A TECHNICALITY. Most ridiculous call i've witnessed in all of my years watching football.
Posted by: Vince Moss | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
This will be Chad henne's defining moment. He takes us down, all anti henne dialogue needs to stop...at least until next weeks game. LOL
We got screwed, and this crew has missed Steelers dragging us down on pass rushes all day.
They will be disciplined.
Posted by: IMAWriter | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
Dan Carpenter can solidify the MVP if he wins this...
Posted by: Marc | October 24, 2010 at 03:58 PM
IF THEY CSN GO BACK AND REVIEW THE SPOT OF THE BALL...HOW COME THEY CAN'T GET WHO RECOVED THE BALL RIGHT.....THIS IS BS
Posted by: Kris | October 24, 2010 at 03:59 PM
now maybe this coaching staff wont just settle for field goals & try to get it in the end zone All blame on the head coach
Posted by: surferdude | October 24, 2010 at 03:59 PM
CHEATING F'IN REFS
Posted by: EARL | October 24, 2010 at 03:59 PM
yes
Posted by: LeGrand | October 24, 2010 at 03:59 PM
why didn't they see who had the ball at the end of that?
Posted by: test | October 24, 2010 at 03:59 PM
NFL = RIGGED
Posted by: heepman | October 24, 2010 at 03:59 PM
Miami came out of the pile with the football.
This game wouldn't be close if the Dolphin coaches could coach with some courage rather than fear. Way too many missed opportunities today.
And all will be well if Henne drives down for the score.
Posted by: John Oregon Dolphin fan | October 24, 2010 at 03:59 PM
yep, run the ball thats worked out well
Posted by: superPHIN | October 24, 2010 at 04:00 PM
Dan Carpenter won't even get a chance to kick a FG. The turnover is a-comin'.
Posted by: Gatorz4Lyfe | October 24, 2010 at 04:00 PM
Ronnie Brown-are you kidding me?
Posted by: David | October 24, 2010 at 04:00 PM

Posted by: test | October 24, 2010 at 04:00 PM
