The Dolphins had a terribled third quarter.
They did nothing on offense and the defense yielded a touchdown drive that took part of this decade.
Oh, and Brandon Marshall is out of the game. He's on the sideline in street clothes.
Miami needs three scores to win this one, assuming they don't give up any more points.
It looks bleak but ...
Well, let's see what happens. The live blog rolls on.

Dan Henning...
Steady as she goes

man we're getting punched in the mouth again. I wonder how many miami fans have been lost this season?
Posted by: Richard3000 | November 18, 2010 at 10:42 PM
Armando? How can you remain optimistic at this point?
Posted by: Jeff F., Long Island, NY | November 18, 2010 at 10:42 PM
Redsky you're right, Thigpen is the future at QB, the guy's money!
Posted by: Denny | November 18, 2010 at 10:42 PM
Armando what's wrong with your podcast? Hasn't been updated since Monday.
Posted by: Eric | November 18, 2010 at 10:43 PM
Henning, slow it down a little. Let's stop being aggressive and run the ball 3 in a row.
Posted by: Toronto Ry | November 18, 2010 at 10:43 PM
Bleak, it looks like Comedy central on offense!!!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | November 18, 2010 at 10:43 PM
This game is just awful
Posted by: Sandoval | November 18, 2010 at 10:43 PM
No sirven, Mandy, no sirven.
Posted by: Fidel, tengo Coral Gables alborotao! | November 18, 2010 at 10:43 PM
I've switched to watching the game online ... my 8 year old boy is playing Bears vs. Dolphins on Madden so I'm watching that on the big screen instead ... at least the Dolphins are winning in fantasy land.
Posted by: zaphod | November 18, 2010 at 10:44 PM
Mando the Dolphins can win with two scores and two 2 point conversions (which actually is more like 4 scores come to think of it)
Posted by: Denny | November 18, 2010 at 10:44 PM
I think we're detroit lions bad.
Posted by: Richard3000 | November 18, 2010 at 10:44 PM
No mas, Armando. No mas.
Miami fans don't deserve this.
Posted by: Hurri | November 18, 2010 at 10:44 PM
looks like the offense will be the focus of our 2011 draft. hopefully without Henning.
Posted by: dolfanSF | November 18, 2010 at 10:44 PM
Good night guys. Dolphins season is done. Hope Ross decides to fire coaching staff. God I hate Parcells.
Posted by: Dman | November 18, 2010 at 10:44 PM

Posted by: Denny | November 18, 2010 at 10:44 PM
Armando can be upbeat because he is totally smashed right now ...
Posted by: zaphod | November 18, 2010 at 10:45 PM
What a pathetic game. Miami just as well have forfeited the game. Just a poor showing all around even for back ups.
Posted by: Ripp | November 18, 2010 at 10:45 PM
The season is officially over, the Dolphins are done. Bring on the draft...
Posted by: compcomplex | November 18, 2010 at 10:45 PM

Posted by: not a dumb finfan | November 18, 2010 at 10:45 PM
Wonder if it's too late to add another chapter to the Parcells special they keep advertising.
Posted by: Utdolfan | November 18, 2010 at 10:46 PM
Remember when we were all excited after Miami beat Minnesota on the road. Man, that feels like two years ago!
Posted by: Jay-Mo | November 18, 2010 at 10:46 PM
Man I can't even put my finger on it, trying to figure out why we're so bad.. I just can't tell
Posted by: Richard3000 | November 18, 2010 at 10:46 PM
Yea this game is pretty much mopp up time for bears, Get the 2nd and third stringers some work*****PHIN OUT!!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | November 18, 2010 at 10:46 PM
The Buffalo Bills played the Bears tougher then us. This front office has to go. Sick of it. We have nothing to show for the past three years of drafts, etc.
Posted by: rand_the_fin | November 18, 2010 at 10:46 PM
Pretty soon it'll be just the crickets and Jets fans in here ... we're dropping off fast now.
Posted by: zaphod | November 18, 2010 at 10:46 PM
well, think of it this way. at least we don't play our games in a lifeless, antiseptic stadium.
Posted by: antonio maceo senior high school | November 18, 2010 at 10:46 PM
tell the fat lady she's on in 15 mins. Season is DONE.
Posted by: Toronto Ry | November 18, 2010 at 10:47 PM
Richard,
We don't have ONE player on offense the ilk of Calvin Johnson. Not one. The Lions are better than us, my dude.
They've looked better losing than we have winning, as of late.
Posted by: Hurri | November 18, 2010 at 10:47 PM
this is like watching a preseason game. Nobody on this team makes plays. im getting so tired of this team.
Posted by: durks | November 18, 2010 at 10:47 PM
They did nothing on offense and the defense yielded a touchdown drive that took part of this decade.
VERY FUNNY ARMANDO....At least i can still smile
Posted by: Kris | November 18, 2010 at 10:47 PM
Every time this team takes a beat down they just accept it.
Posted by: Marc726 | November 18, 2010 at 10:48 PM
"well, think of it this way. at least we don't play our games in a lifeless, antiseptic stadium."
I believe they call it Sun-Life stadium.

"Remember when we were all excited after Miami beat Minnesota on the road. Man, that feels like two years ago!"
right?? I think it was the NE when I stopped believing in the phins. Man we're a lost franchise right now. I'm going to try and not watch next game, try to get my self away from this
Posted by: Richard3000 | November 18, 2010 at 10:48 PM
will you MORONS who ALWAYS say how important DEPTH IS AND THINK you know when we have good depth or not.......
please read FOOTBALL for Dummies
Posted by: not a dumb finfan | November 18, 2010 at 10:48 PM
Cool ... our defense is totally wearing down the Bears offense ... they're so exhausted they can't run one more play without a timeout. Pretty good strategy ... must be an idea from that mastermind Dan Henning!
Posted by: zaphod | November 18, 2010 at 10:48 PM
It does feel like a preseason game.
Posted by: Utdolfan | November 18, 2010 at 10:48 PM
I actually feel bad for the Lions AND YES THE BILLS.... They score TDS and have a combined 3 wins
Posted by: @Russell1286 | November 18, 2010 at 10:49 PM
I'm starting to think Thigpen's record as a starter is 1 and 10 not because the Chiefs were so bad, but because Thiggy is bad.
Posted by: Toronto Ry | November 18, 2010 at 10:49 PM
How's that Gloria and Emilio-thingy working out for ya?
Posted by: Fidel, tengo Coral Gables alborotao! | November 18, 2010 at 10:50 PM
MOSES STOP DANCING YOUR TEAM IS SUCKING RIGHT NOW
Posted by: @Russell1286 | November 18, 2010 at 10:50 PM
Wow. No pass protection at all. Our OLine is done. Thus the Offense is done. Dan Marino couldn't do anything behind that line.
Grove back in Miami next week
Posted by: Jimmy Jam | November 18, 2010 at 10:50 PM
What is Moses celebrating for? they're getting their @ss kicked.
Posted by: Jeff F., Long Island, NY | November 18, 2010 at 10:50 PM
Durks said it.
No one on this team makes plays. And if they do accidently makes one, they aren't heard from again.
Posted by: Hurri | November 18, 2010 at 10:50 PM
All of sudden Henne is looking pretty good, isn't he Henne haters?
Posted by: Iceman | November 18, 2010 at 10:50 PM
I'd like some of you guys to explain how none of this is Thigpen's fault. We're down 16-0, we can't move the ball, Thigpen is taking sacks he doesn't need to and he's been picked off. Wasn't he supposed to have 'IT', supposed to spark the offence, supposed to be super accurate? Time to fess up guys, Thigpen is not and NEVER has been the starter that we need. Henne haters need to shut up now!!
Posted by: Craig M | November 18, 2010 at 10:50 PM
Armando. Do these guys actually practice? Or what?
Posted by: mike d | November 18, 2010 at 10:51 PM
Yea thigpen's so bad,he has no time and has been sack a million times, yet it's his fault...sure
i nevercomment on here but u guys r just straight up retarded
Posted by: WAKE! | November 18, 2010 at 10:51 PM
do you guys remember when dan marino had a perm and let it rip every other play, deep down the middle, touchdown?
my point: all future miami QBs need to visit Sami or Mirta de Perales during training camp.
And get a damn PERM.
Posted by: antonio maceo senior high school | November 18, 2010 at 10:51 PM
i would like to see a new qb maybe?
Posted by: Richard3000 | November 18, 2010 at 10:51 PM
Is Ronnie brown still on the dolphins? The second best offensive player and he touches the ball once. Maybe the genius henning is trying to trick them...or maybe he so old his memory lapse made him forget Ronnie was on the team. Worst game plan I have ever seen
Posted by: Thefish | November 18, 2010 at 10:51 PM
HURRI your absolutely correct when they do something good they're benched or get injured or even get a penalty so they have their first down back at the original line of scrimmage
Posted by: @Russell1286 | November 18, 2010 at 10:52 PM
wow...there is zero pocket out there.
Posted by: Jeff F., Long Island, NY | November 18, 2010 at 10:52 PM
seven possessions and SIX first downs....BRILLIANT!!.....and NONE of it is Thigpen's fault. The guy plays a million miles an hour and accomplishes nothing. It's not a surprise he's on his third organization.
Posted by: Craig M | November 18, 2010 at 10:53 PM
and the wheels have come off............where is my fork?
Posted by: what_me | November 18, 2010 at 10:53 PM
Thigpen should just roll out, then take off running every play. Best chance for positive yardage.
