That ending was so ugly. But it served as a fittign microcosm of Miami's risk-nothing offense. What's pathetic is that Miami runs a low risk offense that still manages to turn the ball over in key situations.

The whole Parcells/Ireland/Sparano mindset has to be eradicated from the organization - everything from the offensive mindset to their stupid, anachronistic size/speed/strength formulas in player analysis. Nothing these guys do wins big in the modern NFL.

Ross will likely bring in Carl Petersen, and that would be a devastating hire.

But I can't watch another season of this brand of football. The team plays ugly, almost unwatchable games. They aren't fun to cheer for. They cough up winnable games. And we see inexplicable decision-making week after week after week. THIS is how you kill a fan base.

I hope for our sake, and Chad Henne's, he finds a place on another team.
I don't hate him, I'm just so disappointed that no one on our coaching staff could figure out that Chad has lost all confidence. It's apparent we don't yet have all the pieces to the puzzle. Next years HC will get some of the injured guys back, and hopefully we can fill some holes.

I put the blame for Henne's demise on all concerned...Henning, the QB coach (who seems to be immune here) Sparano, and of course, on Henne himself.

OK, I'm an old softie, and I truly hope Henne gets a shot somewhere else. He seems like a nice guy, and good teammate. Maybe too nice a guy.
I hope we beat NE, as always but surely we're better off losing the last 2, but with our luck detroit will succumb to even dumber play-calling, and NE will have nothing to play for, and will want our draft position even lower. That's a Bellicheat sort of maneuver.

Start Thigpen the next two games. I like his scrambling. Keep Henne but bring someone to challenge those two. Brown showed me nothing this year= gone. Henning wow...not sure what to say=gone. Sparano has not improved as a coach=gone. Marshall pass to him in stride and see what he can do=stays. The only way to keep Nolan is to make him HC. Im not against that.

QB play is so bad.......I can't even express it. Dinking the ball with less than a minute to go and needing the opponents 30-35 yard line. Shocking that Henne doesn't realize he can't make those throws. The guy isn't improving in any area. He doesn't get rid of the ball when he needs to. He stares at receivers and get balls batted down more frequently that Dan Fleuty ever did and throws interception like Santa handing out Christmas presents. These sorts of personel mistakes sets the team back years.

While I hate to say this because it sets us back another 2-3 years, we need to completey rebuild (again). This coaching staff lacks general football knowledge. They have no excuses, I don't care who you blame - Henne or the online or anything that the ST have done this year. With a real coaching staff, this team would be at leats 9-5 this season. How do you lose, at home, to the Browns and Bills. That should never happen. These games are give me's. Playing for FG's is absurd. Losers mentality.
