The highlight of the first quarter?
Kevin Curtis made his Dolphins debut. On his third play he got behind Drayton Florence on a post pattern. He was wide open.
Chad Henne overthrew what was a certain TD.
And on the next play Henne threw an interception.
If you wish to discuss such great defensive play ... the live blog continues in the comments section.

the front office really f***ed up our O Line during training camp, we have never looked good running the ball the whole year
Posted by: blink | December 19, 2010 at 01:51 PM
zaphod.... I can sort of relate to that, BUT we do still have a shot at the playoffs. As soon as they are officallyout of contention I wouldn't blame amybody.
Posted by: Phintastic | December 19, 2010 at 01:51 PM
Conservative OC + Scared QB = 0 score.
Henne has no trade value and will be cut. May as well put Thigpen in there to at least make the rest of the season entertaining.
Henne has no mobility.
Out offense is broken. Our only chance to score is on defense or broken plays on offense.
Posted by: Smaknstein | December 19, 2010 at 01:51 PM
I have no illusions about Thiggy..........I'm just sick of Henne and want any sort of change until nxt year, when I want a REAL change.
If Redskins can dump game for draft pick, why not us.
And why does 7 to 9 points alwayd feel like a 45pt lead for us? Rhetorical q, don't have to answer.
Posted by: The Seer | December 19, 2010 at 01:51 PM
Crowd now wants Henne gone. You hear the boos? Right now I have to agree!
Now st's, same familiar stories in same familiar loses!
Posted by: DyingBreed | December 19, 2010 at 01:52 PM
Special ed, Offense inept again, at this point im hoping Henne tears an ACL last game of the season, Henning has a heart attack, and sparano learns how to communicate better at his next job opening....Boo Birds are out in force......BEST NEWS ALL DAY!!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | December 19, 2010 at 01:52 PM
can the dolphins employ an eye doctor to check henne's peripheral vision?
Posted by: austin | December 19, 2010 at 01:52 PM
Why is Thigpen not warming up yet? Where are the Henne lovers? --this guy sucks, plain and simple
Posted by: Big I | December 19, 2010 at 01:53 PM
Good point by austin saying henne drifted into that sack.

Oregon Dolphin Fan ... we're giving up based on experience ... the height of mental health is to recognize an established trend and act accordingly.
By the way ... I grew up in Oregon! Awesome area of the country.

It's amazing how much Miami has spent on the OL since Parcells and Co. rode into town. And what do they have starting today? Four journeyman/backup types and an injured Jake Long.
That's absolute ineptitude on the part of the Dolphin front office.
Posted by: The New Kid | December 19, 2010 at 01:53 PM
Not only does Henne get sacked, he drifts TOWARDS the blitz and stares down the 1 receiver. I think this game cements us looking for a QB in offseason and cutting Henne
Posted by: Joey | December 19, 2010 at 01:54 PM
If anything letting Thigpen give it a crack might infuse some spark into the offense. This is beyond riduculous to watch. Like i said its only a matter of time before the team gives up and we get embarrased at home.

Before the Bills had actually won a game ... I called that the we would give the Bills their first ... well, we can't do THAT, but I think we'll still give them a win nonetheless.

Rumors Of Bill Cowher Interested In Dolphins Job , I Have The Feeling if We Lost This Game Sparano Gets Fire This Week
Posted by: ivan | December 19, 2010 at 01:54 PM
Oregon Phin,
Giving up on the Dolphins after 1 td? Where have you been? We've all seen how this story ends before. Definition of insanity:
"Doing the same thing over and over again and hoping for different results."
Sounds familiar?
Posted by: DyingBreed | December 19, 2010 at 01:55 PM
I figured out why the Fins suck at home.... Sex.

Folks we are seeing Tony Sparanos swann song if they lose this came.
Posted by: deytreder | December 19, 2010 at 01:56 PM
Mando ... give us an idea of how many fans start walking out of this one before the start of the third quarter.
Posted by: zaphod | December 19, 2010 at 01:56 PM
Armando if we bench Henne we have to wildcat because we have no Qb on the this team Thigpen is total garbage
Posted by: qbclub13 | December 19, 2010 at 01:57 PM
Sparano has to go at least 9-7 or at very least 8-8 to stay another year....
Posted by: KS | December 19, 2010 at 01:57 PM
ANEMIC offense coming up again...i think if henne looks any worse, Thipen may be in for rest of game.

We're in trouble. Down 10 points, that's about our average of points a game. Maybe we can tie it before it's over and kick a winning FG in overtime...
Posted by: #1 Dolphin Fan in Montreal | December 19, 2010 at 01:57 PM
this circa 1990 offense is terrible to watch.
Posted by: austin | December 19, 2010 at 01:58 PM
PLEASE THIGPEN! Can't be any worse and he can at least make a play or two...
Posted by: KS | December 19, 2010 at 01:58 PM

Wow! Now even DB is calling for Henne to take a seat. Now that SAYS something!
If Henne can't put together a scoring drive before the end of the half, you just have to sit him down. Whats the point of persisting with someone who is giving not even a glimmer of hope.
Posted by: deytreder | December 19, 2010 at 01:58 PM
here comes the fist pumping 3 and out!!
Posted by: dslong | December 19, 2010 at 01:58 PM
If Henne fails this drive, bring in Thigpen, we have nothing left to lose this season and Henne has showed us nothing in almost 2 seasons, time to move on.
Posted by: Joey | December 19, 2010 at 01:59 PM
So if it's at the 36 we will be punting at the 40
Posted by: jamesc | December 19, 2010 at 01:59 PM
I hope at halftime they get a chance to try out super Mario on the ninetendo DS or the holiday version of Angry Birds because they certainly will not be making adjustments. It's just a game, have fun.
Posted by: popncaps551 | December 19, 2010 at 01:59 PM
Why is HENNE on the field? I'd rather see us run the wildcat for the rest of the game.
Posted by: Earl | December 19, 2010 at 01:59 PM
I cant blame the fans, I would not sit through such crap. If im to be po'd id rather do it at home with a cold one in my hand.
Posted by: NM Phin Fan | December 19, 2010 at 01:59 PM
10-0 down to God-awful Buffalo. Wtf. Watching this team almost makes you hate offense. Horrible play calling, horrible QB play, terrible blocking, running backs dancing like Beyonce. Maybe Dansby could play QB and Nolan can call the plays on offense too.
Posted by: Jon | December 19, 2010 at 01:59 PM
The play was designed to go to the right on that last sack. McQuisten got beat.
Henne is a young QB without the confidence to go against the bad Henning play calling.
Posted by: Oregon Dolphin fan | December 19, 2010 at 01:59 PM
Not henne.....NOOOOOO, looks like we might run three straight times and use our three timouts to aid Buffalo, like they even need help right now!!!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | December 19, 2010 at 01:59 PM
Watching Chad Henne lead the Fins offense is like watching a blind man leading a truck convoy....
PS. My apologies to any blind men reading this blog.
Posted by: Tony Soprano is not my cousin | December 19, 2010 at 02:00 PM
WE cant lose this damn game today. That idiot Chris Berman will have a field day today. I absolutely do not wanna hear his "the Buffalo Bills know how to circle the wagons" bs tonight!
Posted by: DyingBreed | December 19, 2010 at 02:00 PM
This O-line is in shambles. Hard to expect much out of your QB with a line like this.

Posted by: dslong | December 19, 2010 at 02:01 PM
Mando we need to look at the Bright side when it comes to the offense... They didnt waste a time out in the first 5 minutes of the game now at the end of the half when buffalo's trying to go up 24 nothing on us we can use a timeout to let the defense breathe
Posted by: @Russell1286 | December 19, 2010 at 02:01 PM
Gotta bench Henne if he bums out again this drive. There;s nothing else fairly sensible left to do.
Posted by: DyingBreed | December 19, 2010 at 02:01 PM
Their awful D-Line is playing on our side of the ball every play, O-Line sucks
Posted by: Earl | December 19, 2010 at 02:01 PM
So far Fitzpatrick is the better QB. We can't win this game without offense. Henne is self destructing missing that TD pass and throwing that INT! Fitzpatrick is available next year.
