Well, it seems neither offense is capable of winning this game, even as the Dolphins lead 10-3.
Both offenses, you see, have done work to lose the game.
Every point scored today is a result of a turnover.
The Jets got their FG after Chad Henne was strip sacked by Calvin Pace and New York drove for a field goal. Both teams have two turnovers. The Dolphins have 89 total yards and the Jets have 113 total yards.
So the assignment at halftime for both offenses? Don't screw up!

Need to protect the ball better. Otherwise, do like you're doing. Run, passes when they're wide open, maybe some designed cutbacks, get the defense off-balance, chunk yardage.

Rotten play calls
No blocking.
No separation from our receivers.
No run game.
Backs can't hold onto the ball, off. or def.
I wish Henne was the problem(sigh).
Hey but at least we got Hennings halftime adjustments to look forward too(oh God, I'm gonna puke).

Either the final score will be Jets 40-10, or they will let Sanchik flip a game winner on the final play of the game.

Posted by: redsky | December 12, 2010 at 05:59 PM
JT is a traitor. He played poorly last year and he was a progress stopper... good riddance. He should have retired before playing for the Jets
Posted by: beerphin | December 12, 2010 at 05:59 PM
We had our chance ... we could have piled up some points ... but now we begin the long slide into letting this get out of hand.

beerphin. That's rididulous. A guy that can still play at a high level should RETIRE because his team DOESN'T WANT HIM?
Posted by: Marc | December 12, 2010 at 06:00 PM
Are these offenses as terrible as we're seeing today or are the defenses much better than we give credit for?
Posted by: Armando Salguero | December 12, 2010 at 06:00 PM
I never would have thought this offense would look even worse this week than they did last week. Doesn't that defy some law of physics?
Posted by: deytreder | December 12, 2010 at 06:00 PM
Odin.
You're right.
