If you thought the Dolphins were going to come out today breathing fire so their effort could save Tony Sparano's job, you were wrong.
If you thought the Patriots were going to come out today and just go through the motions because they have home field advantage locked up, that would also be wrong.
The Patriots are sticking it to the Dolphins. 14-0 to start the second quarter.
Tom Brady is playing. And well.
Chad Henne has thrown an interception.
The more things change ...

well I did predict a 7-9 record. hopefully we can get a stud QB, TE, and RB or two next year. The offense needs life and leadership.
Posted by: DLT | January 02, 2011 at 01:42 PM
Henne has zero command presence.
Posted by: Los Lobos | January 02, 2011 at 01:42 PM
There's that great O-line again. Unbelievable that Henne can't feel pressure and slide in the pocket
Posted by: JetHater | January 02, 2011 at 01:43 PM
ONLY 3 MORE QUARTERS OF HENNE, HENNING!!!!
Posted by: EARL | January 02, 2011 at 01:43 PM
Did you see the anger in Henne's eyes when he threw that incomplete pass on second down? That was nice ... maybe if he gets angry people will start to take him seriously.
Posted by: zaphod | January 02, 2011 at 01:43 PM
The more they stay the same for Miami!!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | January 02, 2011 at 01:43 PM
i predicted a 8-8 record and everyone ripped me and called me a fake fan. it was crazy. also said in sept sparano would be gone
Posted by: bill_cnnrs@yahoo.com | January 02, 2011 at 01:43 PM
What really gets me about this is Dan Henning has never once admitted he called a bad game. This is just plain embarassing.
Posted by: Big I | January 02, 2011 at 01:43 PM
Why do I bother with this damn team?
Posted by: Noel | January 02, 2011 at 01:43 PM
Why can't I quit you Dan Henning
Posted by: SoiledBottom | January 02, 2011 at 01:44 PM
moronooooo fist
Posted by: heepman | January 02, 2011 at 01:44 PM
Nice punt. We've got the punter position covered ... MAYBE have the kicker position covered ... what the hell has happened to Carpenter, though?
Posted by: zaphod | January 02, 2011 at 01:44 PM
k.c. gets pioli from the pats and in 2 yrs are in the playoffs and building something good. if we can get cowher we have to go for it. he know the steelers system.
Posted by: wu li master | January 02, 2011 at 01:44 PM
Henne taking that sack is basically like him saying, I don't want to throw the ball away and give the team a chance to kick a long FG.
He's also saying, I have no instincts that tell me to get rid of the ball when I've held it too long.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | January 02, 2011 at 01:44 PM
a liitle over 2 hours and this nighmare season is over.
Yay!

CROWDER SIGHTING
Posted by: Big I | January 02, 2011 at 01:44 PM
Wow pats get a rule in honor of brady yet the nfl does not call it on them. That guy is not allowed to lunge at knees like that.
And yea this line sucks henne can't be focused on the rush he had no time.
Posted by: shaggy | January 02, 2011 at 01:44 PM
If coach Sparano was my dad...I'd be knee deep in fistpumps
Posted by: SoiledBottom | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
Henne never reads blitz at the line. You gaot to get rid of the ball in 3 secs or less. He will not count down 3 secs when the blitz is coming and always gets caught with ball still in his hands.
My god is Henne blind or just that incredibly stupid! LOL................
Posted by: DyingBreed | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
I dont care if henne pulled a hernia right now, he's played like garbage and shouldve been MAD and ANGRY since week 3!!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
Crowder.....makes his contract mandated 1 play
Posted by: Kris | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
yes master they picked up cassel also
Posted by: bill_cnnrs@yahoo.com | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
why arent we blitzing like crazy? trying to knock brady out of the playoffs?
Posted by: nyfinfan | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
I use to think the robot analogy about Henne was kind of silly. but now I know it to be true. The guy has zero on field awareness or presence. The guy is an automaton. Look it up if you don't know what it means.
Posted by: Los Lobos | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
The Patriots are the Dolphins of the 70s, 80s and 90s ... perennial playoff contenders. Dolphins are the Bills of the 70s.
Posted by: zaphod | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
Bess, Marshall, Long are the only offensive players that should return on offense. Everyone else can go
Posted by: EARL | January 02, 2011 at 01:45 PM
Man, them NE cheerleaders is purdy
Posted by: Jimmy Jam | January 02, 2011 at 01:47 PM
Henne = Mr Roboto!!!

Is it over yet?
Tell me when I can open my eyes...
Posted by: NHDolphan | January 02, 2011 at 01:48 PM

You are right-if you have alligators around your feet-you need to throw the ball at the buzzard's who are trying go to eat (sack) you
Posted by: David | January 02, 2011 at 01:48 PM
Time for a spark
Posted by: Kris | January 02, 2011 at 01:48 PM
Zaphod, Miami's late 80's teams (86 to early 90's) were awful--entertaining most of the time cuz of Marino, but awful
Posted by: Big I | January 02, 2011 at 01:48 PM
DyingBreed: Dear God, man! You want Henne to COUNT now? Holy crap that would be a disaster!
Posted by: zaphod | January 02, 2011 at 01:48 PM
Henne checks down before he's even done with his three step drop back.
Posted by: Los Lobos | January 02, 2011 at 01:48 PM
Maybe thats the End of the henne ERA afterall....!!!!!*lol*
Posted by: superPHIN | January 02, 2011 at 01:49 PM
wooooooo thiggy!!!!!
Posted by: heepman | January 02, 2011 at 01:49 PM
Finally a run over 5 yards.
Posted by: Ripp | January 02, 2011 at 01:49 PM
yes bill. one of the first moves pioli made and it's at the position we've had the most trouble with. that's what i'm saying. we need people from organizations that have a good track record with such decisions.
Posted by: wu li master | January 02, 2011 at 01:49 PM
Go Thiggy!
Posted by: NHDolphan | January 02, 2011 at 01:49 PM
Big I: yeah, but there was always the CHANCE of a playoff berth!
Posted by: zaphod | January 02, 2011 at 01:49 PM
is it possible that we get shutout 2 times in one season? and has that ever happened before?
Posted by: todd neal | January 02, 2011 at 01:49 PM
Thigpen in Henne benched! WOW! LOL.............
Posted by: DyingBreed | January 02, 2011 at 01:49 PM
Isaid it after the CLE game...we watched the end of the Henne era....
Posted by: Kris | January 02, 2011 at 01:50 PM
So now they play Tyler?
Posted by: Los Lobos | January 02, 2011 at 01:50 PM
Henne had about one and a half seconds you guys are clueless, you to mando.
Posted by: shaggy | January 02, 2011 at 01:50 PM
Poor Ronnie...he's just not the same anymore.
Posted by: Los Lobos | January 02, 2011 at 01:50 PM
Why don't these QBs look to Marshall's side...
Posted by: Kris | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
We dont even have one qb in two qb's lol.......
Posted by: DyingBreed | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
keep thiggy in there
Posted by: heepman | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
LOL--who's our third string?
Posted by: Big I | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
but I'm sure he'll break a long one once I say that.
Posted by: Los Lobos | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
Took Sparanderthal 15 1/2 games to bench a totally inept QB.
Posted by: 0x80 | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
ok so we've established we have two QBs who suck
Posted by: nyfinfan | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
I think we might actually get shutout again, wouldnt that be icing on the cake!!!!
Posted by: superPHIN | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
Thigpen is playing to be someone's backup next year. A good game could give him a nice job somewhere.
Posted by: zaphod | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
So is it clear that the oc and both qbs should go?
Posted by: jamesc | January 02, 2011 at 01:51 PM
Thigpen may make the best case for keeping Henne.....
Posted by: Kris | January 02, 2011 at 01:52 PM
Tyler ain't scared that's for sure.
Posted by: Los Lobos | January 02, 2011 at 01:52 PM
Wow, it's all Henne!!! LOL! Thigpen looks like an All-Pro!!!! It's not the QBs, it's a piss poor o-line and lack of talent and speed on O!!!!!!
