Two vastly different opinions on Brian Daboll

I have a great amount of respect for Bernie Kosar. He was a star the minute he stepped on the practice field at the University of Miami as a reshirt freshman. He carried that stardom to a national title, a great NFL career, and a Super Bowl ring.

I also have respect for former Dolphins fullback and current Saints running back Heath Evans. He's smart and tough and he's got a Super Bowl ring as well.

So it's jarring that two guys who usually view the game through a similar prism disagree so vehemently on their opinions of new Dolphins offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.

Kosar knows Daboll from the offensive coordinator's last few years in Cleveland. Kosar was commissioned by Browns owner Randy Lerner to study the Cleveland offense and identify that which was right and wrong with the unit. Kosar came away convinced Daboll was among the things that was right with that offense.

"I know I've gotten a bit of a reputation for disliking and criticizing the way some offensive coaches have been doing their jobs lately, but I can honestly tell you Brian Daboll is not among those guys I would criticize too much," Kosar said during his regular Friday morning segment on my radio show, Armando and the Amigo, on 640-Sports in South Florida.

"Brian is a guy who knows the game as well as anyone. You can sit down with him, as I have, and talk about offensive football and strategy and come away pretty impressed with his ideas and his approach  ... Brian's work with Colt McCoy was one of the reasons he played better and better as a rookie."

Well, that's reassuring, especially coming from a former quarterback who played in Cleveland, Dallas and Miami. It gives hope that if Daboll was a big reason the game didn't seem to big for McCoy, perhaps he can help Chad Henne climb out from under his struggles of the past two years.

But later in the afternoon on Friday, Evans went on ESPN 760 in Palm Beach and shared an opinion of Daboll that was nearly the polar opposite of the one Kosar shared.

"The Dolphins probably just got worse," said Evans, who played in New England from 2005-2008 thus was there while Daboll was a receivers coach for Bill Belichick. "... When he was in New England, he was never a guy I considered the brains of the operation.

"Now, listen, obviously there's been a lot of growth from his stint with [Eric] Mangini. He probably learned a lot under [Mike] Holmgren over the last year he's been there with Clevleand. As soon as I saw it, I second-guessed the decision. A franchise that is really just struggling for success, why do you take an unproven commodity? ... I second-guess it ... In the coaching realm, I'm not sure that was the right decision for an offense that already lacks a lot of the things that it needs."

And so we are left hanging for now. We are left, I suppose, waiting to see Daboll do his work to measure what the Dolphins new offensive coordinator has to offer. At that point, we'll see whether Kosar or Evans are correct.

0x80,

You need to go back and watch some of those games from the 1-15 season. The team mailed it in just about every week. The team wasn't prepared, as Parcells noticed the very first day he showed up at the facility. The players even commented that there was something different at practice for the first time all season.

With the exception of the blow out losses to the Pats last year and the stiff of a game they played against the Bears, which other games did they not put a good effort in on 0x80? I'm all for being objective about the team but don't make up things to try and make your point.

You people were just criticizing the hiring of the OC. Now you r criticizing Heath for agreeing with you people. I think I'll read other stuff from now on

Aloco...the only one that devotes their entire adult life to this blog is you...there is never an hour I pass by here without seeing your comments. It's all just talk for me, I don't take it so seriously like some bloggers, pass some idle time and see what people are thinking, nothing more. I've followed this team a very long time and never seen a year like this past one.

"It gives hope that if Daboll was a big reason the game didn't seem to big for McCoy..." LEARN HOW TO SPELL IDIOT!

Craig...that 1-15 season we lost some games by very thin margins, also the team was battered by numerous injuries from the get go. I'm not making things up as you say, nor do I have reason to. You are the one looking at things through rose colored glasses....You want to be objective? Good, me too. Now then, you only mention the Pats and Bears? Unreal...did you not see how pathetic this team played against Cleveland Buffalo and Detroit? I've never ever seen a more pathetic offense from this team, and those were all home games against some of the worst teams in the league. Now, you can blame Henning all you want...but the reality is, the HC is responsible for all the coordinators, he needs to lead them, not blindly let them implement losing strategies.

WHEAT FRENCH TOAST IS THE BEST W/PEET'S COFFEE .IT'S WAY BETTER THAN STARBUCKS COFFEE WHICH TASTES CLOSE TO BURN MOST OF THE TIME .

0X80,

You can say whatever you want...I don't consider you a FAN of this team. To be a fan it would mean you have to show SUPPORT once in a while and you don't. Your a CRITIC of this team....nothing more and nothing less. You're a Monday Morning QB who likes to come on here and make comments AFTER the fact. You can't even be objective. If there were some pros and cons from you it would be a different story but here isn't. It's ALL negative!

You talk about the games against the Browns, Lions and Bills. Yes, the offence was inept but that's on the coaches and the players. It doesn't mean the effort wasn't there. Did you see how hard the defence played for the whole game? Now you can criticize the team all you want but that wasn't EFFORT....it was inept play-calling and poor execution and maybe even confusion and lack of know how. Let's not confuse inability to play well with EFFORT.

0X80, I WORK AT THE SAME TIME ON THE COMPUTER NOT LIKE YOU SWICHING NAMES EVER DAY AND HOUR , NOTICE I DON'T CHANGE MY SCREEN NAME .LOL

GOOD BLESS THE HIDDEN GANG OF DEFEAT

0x80,

I've had my say. Not going to get into it any more than I've said. I'm sure you're looking for a fight and you're going to have to find it from someone else. Like I said, I don't consider you a fan of this team. Keep bashing them the way a Jets fan would. I'm interested in any way of what you have to say because you can't be objective and you can't have a discussion with anyone who won't be objective.

Enjoy your day.....I'm out!

NOT ONLY ME SEE YOU AS THE ENEMAY OX80, also REAL FANS LIKE GRAIG M SEES YOU AS ANTI DOLPHINS .
I PREDICT YOU WILL CHANGE YOUR SCREEN NAME VERY SHORTLY AS YOU DO MOST OF THE TIME .lol

ross really has not listened to the fans yet. sparano is still there, ireland is still there, henne is still there, untill these people are gone it's going to be the same old sh$t next season, or until they actually sign a good qb and beef up the line, then maybe they will be spared once again.

WE WILL DO MUCH BETTER WHEN DOLPHIN77 AND 0X80 GO CHEER FOR THE CLE BROWNS .

Bernie Kosar is a pathetic, bankrupt drunk from Ohio. I'll trust Heath Evans.

not the browns, but maybe a true winning team though. the only good thing about this new oc, is he's not sold on henne, let's see who they bring in. i hope they can get it together, but when people are already scratching their heads and saying don't expect any better results from the offense next year, makes you wonder. the only way is maybe a better qb, and a better o line.

Craig, whether you realize it or not..you are very immature. I call it like I see it. I even threw out some positives as you asked and you didn't even acknowledge them. If you think I am here looking for a fight you are crazy, who needs to fight and for what purpose exactly? You said you were open to an objective discussion but you are not remotely. You evade every point that does not align with your thoughts instead of peacefully debating them. If you are accusing me of wanting to fight, then fight is whats on your mind, not mine. I can just as easily say you are not a true fan if you can be happy with a team in its most dismal state since its inception. If the fins magically win next year, I'll be here to tell you I was dead wrong with pleasure, its just no big deal, its talk, opinions...some of you act like this is some serious thing in life...its a game...they all get paid millions...I don't cry for them believe me. You prefer to avoid reality, fine...I prefer to meet it head on...thats the difference right there. Good luck.

it's sad to read this blog .x80 isn't the real fan .

Read every single post on here and the one thing I take away from it.....people are pizzed......count me among the pizzed...

The thing that is the most frustrating is the plan isn't clear....we as fans can't/don't understand what the plan is.....

In one instance the coach isn't good enough.....in the next thought he is given an extension......

Most poster's wonder what Ireland has done w/out B. Parcells looking over his shoulder.....yet he has gotten an extension....(I personally like the Ireland....I think he has loaded Dallas with talent).....

Ross says he's wanted a high powered Offense to excite the crowd.......We get Daboll....whose offence was worse than ours....

This team is full of questions....questions at QB...RB.....C....G....T.....FS...SS.....ILB

All of wich can be addressed this year....but the decision making of of the DECIDERS tells us that they are more more prone to make the wrong decision......

In Baltimore they have the Ravens....This is one of the top operations in ALL of football....the plan is clear to the fan base....and they don't have to question the drafting model.....they watch thier young draftees become playmakers.....

In Miami not-so much.....

The fans deserve a plan.....this regime has earned nothing...NOTHING.....

if you can't repeat something it means it was a FLUKE.....

2008=fluke

jets wining the SB 50 years ago =fluke.....

you see where i'm going.....

So some of you can have your whollier-than thou....we will NEVER QUESTION this regime because we we do as we are told attitude.....

and if that works for you....so be it......it doesn't work for me....it didn't seem to work for Mr. Ross...and it doesn't work for many who spend thier hard earned money to support this team....

You guys do know that when you right stuff....some of us actually remember it right.....

For example.....BobbyD12....it was you who ranted and raved before the Tennesse game......you even wrote that you sold your tickets to some Tennesse fans....because you were so pizzed....

and thats OK...it was your right to be upset.....and now you are back on the wagon.....just like many others will be before the start of the season....

People deal with things differntly.....because they voice thier dissention.....does make them less a fan than anybody else.....

B'more went 12-4 and lost in the 2nd rd.....guess what...the fans arn't satisfied......THEY WANT MORE......

and so should we.......

0x80......I feel like i stole your post......in reality you beat me to it.....I agree with you.......funny thing is.....we once started our dialogue with an argument....but now we have found common ground on many things.....and if memory serves me correct....we never deteriorated to silly name calling......

Yeah, it's kinda silly if someone is deciding who's a fan and who's not. I think if you say you're a Dolphins fan, then you are. Tortured, Buffalo Bill, these guys say they are fans of other teams, so if anyone wants to know the difference, that's it.

Many people here have watched the team for a long time, and therefore have their own opinion on what the team needs to do to succeed (I haven't heard anyone ever say Miami is fine and doesn't any upgrade whatsoever).

People like bill believe this team needs a turnover in management and coaching and personnel.

People like Craig believe stability is better, and only do minor changes (OC, QB Coach, personnel).

And therein lies the debate. Why are either of those sides non-fans?

Also, being a critic is different from being critical. You can be critical of something you love (like an overbearing parent).

You can not like someone's personality, that's fair, but let's not suggest others are disloyal (that's like people who question your patriotism if you are critical of the country in any way).

DC...,great example....you commie-pinko

"Ross needs to listen to the fans"
I say stuff like this all the time
Then I wonder why people think
I'm an idiot

duhphin 77

Kris, I remember that. Its a question of maturity. We didn't agree on something, but we both realize a contrary opinion is not a fight or a put down, its merely an exchange of ideas. We never ended up agreeing on whatever that was, but that is irrelevant, its about keeping an open mind, and I am not afraid to change my mind after a compelling argument or admit I was wrong, its no big deal. There are a few here that see everything as a personal attack. I tend to write my opinions strongly, they are my opinions, which could change, and I realize just because I have a strong opinion doesn't mean I'm right or wrong, it just means I have the balls to say what I think at the moment, nothing more. Thats right there is our common ground.

By the way, I'm happy everyone doesn't feel the same way. That might be the problem with the Trifecta. When people don't analyze each solution, groupthink starts creeping in, and that's a recipe for disaster.

Why in 16 games didn't anything change with the coaching? Didn't ANY coach stand up and say, "let's try something different?" I don't know the answer, but wish I did.

Will Daboll be any different? Will he be able to make gametime adjustments like Nolan proved he could? These are all credible concerns for the fanbase.

Do you draft linemen and "bruiser" RBs or speedy, dynamic wr and rb/te? Move up and give up picks or move back and gain picks? We can all debate the best direction in each of these areas. I doubt anyone (management, coaches, "experts", fans) has the exact right answer, or if there even is ONE right answer, you might be able to succeed no matter what route to take if you make the right decisions stemming from the route you take).

It's all up for debate. That shouldn't be dispiriting or limited in any way.

if ross listen to fans like dolphin77 and ox80 ,he would be bankrupt by now......... you guys shout stick to frying .

LET ME SEE AGAIN;;;;

TUNA HIRED SPARANO AND JEFF IRELAND.....
NOW, ROSS KEEPS BOTH FOR EXTRA 3 YEARS......

SO TUNA WAS HONOST WITH HIS HIRING SINCE MIKE DEE ,A NEW GUY AGREED TO TO THE EXTRA 3 YEARS..

NOW LETS SAY.....GO DOLPHINS
AND DOWN W/GANG OF DEFEAT .

DRAFT A QB
SIGN ORTON

ALoco...are you sleep walking? Have you forgotten that your buddy Ross tried everything in his power to get rid of Sparano and failed? You are for Ross and against me yet Ross and I both felt we need a new coach...so...those are the facts. You can't be for Ross and against me, because he and I are on the same page. You are contradicting yourself.

Wow fans turning on each other. Just another sign of the times we're in. No one can predict what will happen next year but one thing is for sure, we need PLAYMAKERS. players on offense who step up when it counts. OC don't throw or catch the ball. How many key dropped passes last year. Everyone forgets the injuries this team suffered and we still managed to compete with the better teams. Can we just relax. This year was a culmination of bad things happening. Let's hope the worst behind us and let's get behind our team. Draft talk? I say we go best available playmaker wether RB or WR. not sure we will have a measurable upgrade at QB where we pick.

Today, I will be routing for Pittsburgh and Green Bay. Pittsburgh, because I'm a MIAMI DOLPHINS FAN! If we ARE calling out disloyalty, then if you are routing for the NEW YORK JETS, JUST because former players are on their team, then YOU ARE NOT A FAN! Go be a Jets fan.

And Green Bay because I LOVE and ADMIRE and WISH WE HAD their style of football. An elite QB with the best WR's in the game, fast, explosive, dynamic, passing attack, quick-strike TDs, amazing.

Plus I respect how they develop talent. They stick with their young players and turn them into stars (see their RBs for the last few years as proof, and, oh, yeah, there's Aaron Rogers).

DC you do realize we could have had Rodgers. Good post.go Steelers

henne, I realize we could have had a whole slew of QBs other than the ones we got (Rogers and Brees being the highlights, but we coulda had Brady. I think we had a few picks before 199).

That's my opinion on why we haven't played in one of these games today in multiple decades.

OX80,

i am for ross..

he spends all that money to own the dolphins .
he tried to hire a head coach,it's true but found out during that procces he better stick w/sparano and ireland ...........

now... it's the time to get behind the team and talk about;

1- QB
2-OL
3-HOW TO REVERSE 1-7 TO 7-1
4-SWITCH FROM STARBUCKS TO PEET'S COFFEE .

The poor, whittle Jetsies are terrified they might get hit by the bully Hines Ward. Boo-hoo.

Note to Hines: I like to see some Jets DBs concussed (like they try to do to you). Not just jostled, not "blown up", but concussed, brain trauma.

Agreed Aloco

0x80......agreed.....and since our conversation never became silly and childish it allowed me to read many more of your post since that day.....

Since then I learned through your writing that we have much more in common as fans than we disagreed on.....

and that we actually disagreed on very little.......

That is the point of debate.........

Its not WAR people....its DEBATE......

We've all seen Henne listening to Marshal's bs on the sideline.

Has anyone ever seen Henne speaking to Ricky or Ronnie?

Henne threw for more yards (15th) this year than Sanchez, Cutler, Roethlisberger, Cassel and Vick.
Henne threw for a higher completion (16th) percentage than Cutler, Cassel and Sanchez.

Ronnie Brown was 38th in yds/game and Ricky was 43rd.

I believe in not pointing fingers and the team concept but seriously how does Henne take the blame for everything?

why not ass ?

PriceMaster....who gets the CREDIT when a Team wins???

the OL?
the SS?

You know thats the name of the game....

to much of the credit when they win....to much blame when they lose.....

whoever believes in parcells, sparano, ireland are losers and will always be. just like the little pu##y who posts under my name, why don't you grow some balls and put your name a#$hole!

Marshall has to SHOW US THIS YEAR WHY HE DESERVE 50 MILLION ?

DANSBY SHOULD SHOW US WHY WE SIGNED HIM FOR 48 MILLION ?

FASANO SHOULD SHOW US WHY WE SIGNED HIM FOR 3 MILLION A YEAR ?

THESE ARE THE PLAYERS WHO SHOULD THE SPOT LIGHT BE ON THEM NOT IRELAND ,DONKEYS .

no, not really. when they come out and suck next season, sparano and ireland will be gone. extensions don't mean sh$t!

MARSHALL SAID OF ORTON....... (( HE'S 50-50 )). IS THAT MEANS IF WE GET ORTON ,WE HAVE TO WATCH MARSHALL HAVING ANOTHER FIT ON THE SIDE LINE W/HIM LIKE WHEN HE HAD THAT FIT W/HENNE ?

tell me aloco, you say it's a good thing they kept sparano and ireland, but those guys are the ones who are keeping marshall, dansby, fasano, henne. if you are in favor of the coaches then you have to be in favor of the players.

DOLPHIN77, YOU R SO FAST ON PEOPLE ,YOU NEED 3 YEARS AT LEAST TO FIND OUT WHAT PLAYER IS GOOD AND WHO'S NOT ...MARSHALL WAS A ROSS SIGNW/HIS 25 MILLION GUARANTEED B/C ROSS LOVES THE DOLPHINS AND DANSBY WAS NOLAN AND FASANO WAS IRELAND .,THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR WE HAVE SPARANO HAS THE FINAL SAY ON HIRING COACHES ....THIS IS THE YEAR WE WILL GO TO PLAYOFFS .........................

and dumbass i didn't say ross should listen to the fans. if he did then those jokers would have been gone!

kris,
I get that.
What I'm saying is if Ricky/Ronnie both realy do suck now then our anger should be pointed at the 3 stooges for signing players that are less than average performers (Pennington, Wilford, Grove, Wilson, Williams, Brown).

If Ricky/Ronnie are really still above average and had poor seasons because of the line play then we should be saying, "in spite of our atrocious line play and running game Henne was still able to outperform half of the QB's in the NFL in many key statistical areas in only his 2nd season as a starter making 650k per year".

ok rmember those words. how are they going to the playoffs when they will be worse than the last 2 seasons?

I WILL REMEMBER AS LONG AS YOU REMEMBER YOURS DOLPIN77.

PEACE TO YOU .

SWITCH FROM STARBUCKS TO PEET'S COFFEE

I PriceMaster...I have said many times that Henne is an Enigma....throws for 300 yards......but only gets 10 points on the board......

That doesn't makes sense.....and completion percentage is over rated.....easily manipulated by Check-downs and 7 yard outs......and the forever INFAMOUS...kneel down when we were on the 50 yard line at GB....

the stat that matters most to me PriceMaster...is TD to INT....and he was in the minus....those are how games are won and lost...TD-INTs.....

and your right Ronnie and Ricky do have there share of blame.....along with the Oline....abd Defence at times.....but its always gonna come down to the QB

AND MARSHALL DROPPED BALLS DOESN'T COUNT ?

AND FASANO DROPPED BALLS DOESN'T COUNT ?

AND MIKE NOLAN DEFENSE SLEEPING IN THE LAST 3 GAMES DOESN'T COUNT ?

WE ONLY COUNT HENNE'S ????????????

kris,
I'm not satisfied with the way the season turned out either.
If the Roethlisberger fumble is called correctly we beat Pittsburg and we're 8-8.
If Carpenter hits 2 of the 4 FG's he missed in that game then we are 9-7 with everything else being the same.

What Henne was up against on every single play is either 2 seconds to get rid of the ball or throwing against 8 men in coverage. Neither Brady, Rivers, Schaub or Peyton had to play against that.

AND IF MARSHALL DIDN'T SCREW THE CHI GME W/HIS ANTICS WE WOULD BE 10-7

Belichek was considered one of the worst coaches in cleveland history, so bad he helped usher out the browns who then moved to baltimore.

So, before we all start guessing at what an unproven commodity will do, there needs to be evidence. unfortunately we won't have that until next year at this time. please relax everyone.

These what-if arguments are futile. It's like saying if we won every game we'd be 16-0. If the Jets didn't hit some long passes with games in jeopardy, they wouldn't be in the playoffs, but they DID hit them, and so it goes. There are always what ifs after every game, the bottom line is who wins the game in the end.

Maybe if we didn't constantly go wildcat when Henne was doing well we'd have won more. Maybe if we didn't run on 3rd and very long so often we'd have made more big plays. Maybe if we didn't have the worst Special Teams in the league we would have won an extra game. Maybe if Sparano was in control of his coordinators we'd have made changes in the game plan. Maybe if Sparano was aware we didn't really have a 2nd string QB, we'd have had more options on offense. Maybe, mebbe, mebbe...

Howdy folks,

I see all is swimming along in "Fin"landia! (with the usual backbiting, chirping, disdain with some really good posts mixed in as well).

I am definitely not here to hound others about their views. Opinions are like...well you know the rest.

My two cents goes as such.

Well another season finished and we didn't end up where we wanted as actually only one team gets that priviledge. We are in the same boat as both of last years SB participants as well as strong teams like the Eagles, Chargers, Ravens and others...we are spectators just as they are.

The College bowl games are wrapped up and ALL-Star games kicked off this weekend with the East West Shrine game. Senior Bowl to follow.

I am not sure what it is about this time of year but I absolutley dig on watching the college guys graduate up to the pros. I enjoy trying to predict who can't and can't make it at the next level. That makes me just a fan, with a desire to try to spot college. I am no GM and don't think my opinion has more or less weight than the next Dolphin fan or GM for that matter. It's just one man's opinion.

Please try and take this into account when Fins fans of all walks of life try to play armchair GM or Monday morning Kiper. I always liken the NFL Draft process to human flesh roulette. If I like 23 red, that is where I put my money or in this blogs case my opinion. If someone else likes 8 black (preferably with an explanation)then I am fine with that.

If someone wants to have a spirited debate as to why their educated guesses are better than mine... dandy. The main thing is to try and remain in a frame of "here's who and here's why". The old "Your an idiot if you like so and so" is about as lame as saying "I think 8 black on the roulette wheel is a stupid dummy head number that will never come up."...technically, they can all come up.

As it relates to the NFL talent grab or free agent gathering. It is all a roulette spin of one kind or another. When you are buying, someone else is passing or selling. Someone will be shown to be right.

I hope our Fins are right waaaaay more often than wrong.

Cheers,

Is that all you've got Armando? Trying to create some controvery again and you throw in the opinion of a back up Full Back? VS the opinion of Bernie Kosar? Talk about weak.

We all know you love to create controversy while now and then throwing in some real and substantial analysis of players and coaches (which takes work, which is why I suppose you prefer the controversy approach - less work).

But give me a break! This is lazy work even by the standards of creating controversy.

But rehashing who did well and who didn't isn't the most important thing now.

Henne is entering the 4th year of a 4 year contract.
Henne is also the only QB under contract.
The depth chart requires 3 QB's so we have to either draft/sign/trade for 2 QB's and the only one's with trade value are Wake, Henne, Davis, Smith, Misi and Crowder(Long, Dansby & Marshall make too much to have trade value).

So let's hear some scenarios keeping in mind that if Henne is not extended or traded now he is either going to leave or be franchised after this season.

How about Henne to the Raiders straight up for Darren McFadden? We sign Orton and spend the draft filling out the backup qb's and OL.

FAKE aloco @ 8;26

On the note of any early opinions I have...

One thing that seems evident to me is that this doesn't seem like a great 1st round pick year. What I mean is that in my humble opinion there are few clear cut #1 type picks.

I know with QB A. Luck fading back into the college ranks that diminished the top of the draft. There seems to be like 4-8 very talented players at the top depending on whom you ask.

As an example, I would not begin to compare DT N. Suh to DT Fairley although they will end up going in the same area of the draft at the same position. Although Fairley had a good game vs Oregon in the Champs game, he has lots more baggage and question marks than Suh had coming out. If you look at their body types, Suh is a disciplined big man and Fairley could be in better shape. Off the field issues were non existant with Suh...Fairley has some... Fairley was a JUCO transfer and thus has just 27 games played. The last year being his only standout year... scary for a top 5 type.

In the end, I see a few WR AJ Green types that seem to have all the tools to succeed in the NFL and then the talent seems to reach a second lower tier more quickly than past drafts.

If the Fins traded out of the 1st round that wouldn't bother me a bit. The 2-4 round range seems better suited to the talent coming out from a value standpoint to me.

The Fins won't trade up (maybe a couple spots if they were very enamored with a falling talent) but I highly doubt it.

At 15 I like OLB Von Miller if he falls. (I think he will go top 12) If they end up trading back in the 1st I like C/G Mike Pouncey. I think WR Julio Jones has talent but he does drop balls and I believe we need the other, stretch the field type like WR Mike Wallace opposite BM. I believe Brandon Marshall is already our, well paid, talented, big WR.

Cheers,

Seems like Las Vegas prefers GB over Chicago a lot. But not so much Pittsburgh over NYJ. Humm..

PriceMaster, barring some kind of miracle breakthrough by Henne, he'll probably be released after his contract is up.

But your questions regarding Miami's options at QBs may be the toughest to answer.

Draft? Most regard all the top ranked QBs as projects. And most if not all gone by 16.

Vets? Not much to get excited about and even if there was, we don't have a lot of ammo to get one.

Through Parcells/Ireland/s poor decision making and lack of foresight, they've painted themselves and us into a corner. It was their job to properly evaluate potental as well as signed players and they failed. They picked Henne which wouldn't have been so bad of a mistake. IF they had realized their mistake early on and aquired more talent. But they didn't.
