Super Bowl live blog here from Dal, er, Arlington

ARLINGTON -- Jerry Jones must be livid.

According to the NFL, there are a limited number of sections in temporary seating areas inside the stadium that have not been completed and will not be completed. I guess the late-breaking fact that the Super Bowl would be played in this stadium took the folks taking care of such things by surprise.

"We are working to resolve the matter and expect that by game time, most of the fans affected will have been accommodated in their seats or relocated to similiar or better seats," and NFL statement reads. "Those fans that are affected by this will be directed to the Party Plaza area while the matter is resolved."

Well, that's not going to happen. The newest statement from the NFL is that 850 fans were relocated to similar or better seats while 400 fans could not be relocated inside the stadium.

The NFL has promised a refund of triple the cost of the face value of the $900 tickets. Notice that its the "face value." Most fans here have paid sometimes three or four times the face value of the tickets to begin with. So I'm sure they're not too thrilled about this little issue.

I must say, this stadium remains a marvel. But it's not in San Diego or Miami or New Orleans. So it is not optimal for a Super Bowl, in my opinion.

Bottom line is Miami never had an issue with fans who had tickets to the game not being able to get in. That is unimaginable.

On the field, former Dolphin Erik Walden (ankle) is inactive today. Frank Zombo starts for Walden.

There's a live Super Bowl blog here in the comments section this evening. Join me there.

That pick 6 by Nick Collins is the reall true difference of this game. Without it GB loses 25-24. So I cant say how much of a better team team GB is.

Sometimes wins and loses comes down to who gets or makes thier key breaks!

DB - GB lost Woodsen and Shields.
Their presence would have helped.

Yeah, DB, and if you count those 5-10 passes dropped by wide open GB receivers it would've been worst.

RR, got to roll with the players you have. Pitt lost their starting center, would have helped. 3-0 turnover ration was the key. Fairly evenly matched otherwise.

Suck it Favre *lol*!!!!

yeah and if we didn't lose any games we'd be 19-0. Duh. Dumb arguments.

My most valuable Coach, Dom Capers, he came up with a great plan against Big Ben.

if we had an aggressive approach as a FO and as a whole offense as being called *ONE* SO TO SPEAK...we might be hoisting the trophy instead....thats what dreams are for and thats what they'll continue to be with sparano calling the shots....or is it daboll now*lmao*

QVC SELLING GB BEAUTIFUL JACKET,THE SB CHAMPS .

COMING UP...ARRON ROGERS SIGNED FOOTBALL ,650 DOLLARS EACH ,I THINK .BIG MONEY TONIGHT .

Not in the same ballpark, superFan, as of now.

ALL THE DOLPHIN LOSERS FAN ARE OUT IN FORCE USING THE WORD ...IF .

HSN SELLING GB SB WATCHES MADE IN CHINA , WATCHES FOR 25 DOLLARS AND WAS MADE BY THE FARMERS IN CHINA FOR 1 DOLLAR .

superPhin,

Agressive fo? Gb nor the Steelers are ever "agressive in fa and both played in the SB. Just comes down to to good decision making in drafting. That's what these 2 fine franchises have done the predominance of.

Home grown talent, plain and simple. No mortgaging of thier futures. LOL................

DB,

DO YOU HAVE A JOB ?

ALoco,

No offense, but what business it is of yours what anyone here does or doesnt do. Did I unknowingly solocit you to pay any of my bills?

Thats one of the biggest things wrong with some Americans today. They spend far too much time wondering about things that are totally none of thier business. Until I volunteer you info about my private life, keep your nose out!

LOL...........................................

HEMET OR FOOTBALL SIGNED BY 28 YEARS OLD ROGERS FOR....599 DOLLARS ON QVC

C'mon ALoo, GTHOH, go write for the Miami Herald.

Turnovers(3) really suck! Pittsburgh won time of possession 33:25 to 26:35 and total net yardage 387ys to 338yds.

Yet lose the game 31-24. Its nearly impossible to win a game when losing the turnover battle so resoundingly(3-0). GB turned 2 of 3 turnovers into 14pts to boot.

OSCAR,

I LIKE DB'S ANSWER AND I WILL NEVER WRITE FOR THE HERALD FOR FREE ,I HEAR THEY R GOING TO CLOSE IN FEW MONTH TIME .

That fumble was inexcusable, DB, but the two picks were on B.B. probably misreading the coverage.

DB ,

FOR ONCE PITT PAIID TODAY FOR ALL THE ILL AND EVIL THEY DID IN THE LEAGUE WINNING GAMES WITH THE REFEREE'S HELP .

They can't close, Aloco, it's the only newspaper in Miami!

DB IS A STEELER FAN IN DISGUISE ,HE LOVES THE HYENA AND THE BEN RESW=ENBERG .

DB,,,WILL NEVER SLEEP TONJGHT .

Rats! I was off by one point in guessing the final score. I had GB 31 Pitt 24 last blog.

Too bad I wasn't able to get to Vegas.

On to the really important stuff like CBA getting wrangled and the Fins getting some talent in the upcoming draft.

SB was close enough for it to be entertaining but wasn't as good as some of the others of the last 10 years. They can't all outperform the last one.

Fins need to figure a way to get there...period!

Cheers,

Somewhere in America Brett Favre's sobbing his eyes out. The Packers fo now look like absolute geniuses for letting him go.

Had it been the Dolphins our fans would have b*itched like crazy just like when we watched JT ushered off. Dolphin fans are some of the worst ever letting go of the past! LOL....................

Hell, the whole NFL is getting much better and now, the people that know about it, are going to probably downgrade it. Think about it, People!

Big fin fan here but have to say packs are a class act and I am happy to see them win. Maybe our team could get some pointers oit of this

Aaron Rodgers is now officially an "ELITE" nfl qb. We all seen it over the last couple season, but now he has EXCLAMARIZED IT!

I now place Rodgers over Brady. He took the hits and still stood tall in the pocket and continued to be accurate. Brady is a wuss and is only great if you dont hit him! LOL.........

DB your right, he is now a ring winning elite player....he's had about as much time as Henne, right? With a bunch of relatively unknowns surrounding him....please correct me if I'm wrong!!!! I've been married 3 times, I'm used to it!!!!

Rodgers was great tonight. Some of those third down passes were in good coverage. If the recievers don't drop half of them he probably goes over 400 yards. Amazing. It was a great game to watch. My bar was filled with cheese heads, and towel wavers. Everyone had a good time, and the till...even better. I told you all not to listen to a word I had to say about betting strategy. But I got lucky and won a cool G on a board. It always looks fishy when the owner of the bar wins a board. My final tally for the season(take away the board which was pure luck) is minus 2300.00 Maybe I shouldn't gamble anymore.

Redsky, Rodgers rode the pine behind Farve for 3 seasons. This is 2nd as a starter. Doesnt make much sense to compare him and Henne because Rodgers sat and learned behind a hof for 3 seasons and Henne sat for 1 full season behing oodles of noddle armed Pennington.

I think you're really reaching for something that doesnt exist! LOL.............

Also, no talk that we beat the Super Bowl Champs. It is like the ugly loser that got lucky with the hot girl because she was to drunk to know who you really are. Yes you can brag about it to all of your friends. But she will never call you back again. A notch on your bed post. But to her a night she would much rather soon forget.

DD,

Since you have that much cash to throw away Im always open to the job of being your wallett. LOL....................

Darryl D, I won close to 10 grand tonight! Everybody chose Pitt, it was my birthday, I felt the Lombardi trophy was going home. Cops intuition! Unfortunately, half of that was from my 2 son-in-laws, which means I will never see that money.....

Dying... I took some tough beats this year. No excuse. Bad picks. I took the points and the under tonight. Good call???

Redsky..Sweet, 10 G's is a nice come up, even if you have to share it. I had a 500 parlay that was finished early. Oh well. I had a good time tonight. People were stoked. Some Packer fans lit off a bunch of fireworks. I'm happy for them.

DyingBreed, there is NO excuse for Henne's lack of progression this year!!! You guys killed me over my comments about him during preseason this year, maybe he's slow, we're stuck with him, I hope he blossoms this year, but, if he does....that will be a heck of a surprise!!!! Just my stupid, uninformed opinion!!!

Redsky,

I've learned to stop b*itching about Henne. He is what he is and thats probably all he'll ever be. Regardless of whether Henne's our future or not, qb isnt the only position needing huge upgrade on this team.

One thing for sure is there doesnt presently seem to be a real answer to our qb woes in 2011. Not by draft, trade or fa. I see nothing that fully addresses our problem in 2011 alone.

Neither an inexperienced rookie nor washed up vet. Any of the washed up vets may only be marginally better than Henne at this point in thier career.

Chadde Henne still has a chance according to Meatball and Meatball Jr. I just won the superbowl in Madden, John Beck and Henne were my Qb's. Beck was on fire and Henne was an interception machine. All I can say is next year should be interesting, I hope lil Meatball Jr can handle the job of quality control. Anyone have any idea of how much that job pays? I would imagine it is $75,000 plus. Way to take care of the kid Meatball Sr.

DB..Very good post @ 12:47...That wraps it up in a nutshell.

I don't want to be a prisoner of the moment, or seem like I have Rodgers nuts dangling above my chin. But that was a top notch performance tonight. I was really impressed.

I know it goes against all conventional wisdom but as Dlofans we should all be rooting for a vastly improved Henne in 2011. Its not like we have much of an alternative.

Our other options will be a some green horne rookie our washed up past his prime vet qb. So I'm going to root for him and pray that the football god slips and fall into a can of aqua and orange paint during the 2011-12 season. LOL...............

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8bzZEtOcb8

The video supports Chad Henne lol; Or maybe not. I think the Phins need to draft a qb first round in the college draft, I dont care who it is. It can't be worse than picking Odrick last year as that did not work out so well since he was on IR all season.

DD,

One qb I see in this years draft that can possibly be the next Aaron Rodgers if allowed to sit and learn for 3 years as Rodgers did. His name is Jake Locker.

Lockers has all of the physical tools a franchise type qb can ask for. I just think it'll take about 3 seasons to absorb the mental aspect of the pro football qb position as it took Rodgers.

Actually Henne may have been much better out of the chute had he the luxury to sit and absorb the mental aspect of the pro position for 3 full season. Some guys get it right away, some it takes a little longer, and all of the rest are just bums or backups at best.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q952PY7LyQk The above link may be end of any Chad Henne fan followers for the Dolphins. Trade or cut him asap, Just listen to the song for a clue. Henne has to go bye bye asap along w the black eyed peas, big and little meatballs and the Green Ireland Hornet.

Dying..absolutley. Say we bring in a vet. Does this give us much stability at the position in 2-3 years. Yes we may get better, and win a few more game. Even make the playoffs. But in the big picture, we ar still trying to find the franchise guy. The very best case scenario for this team would be a Chad Henne miracle. If he could be the guy that shows some competance it might turn the whole future of this franchise around. We would be able to properly develop a replacement without worring about rushing him into the belly of the beast. And who knows. Maybe Henne has a Blues Bothers moment where he sees the light. This all sounds like crazy talk, and I do not blame anyone for questioning this. Stranger things have happened.

I know there's really isnt anthing to tangibly support it. But I just have this huge felling Ricky Stanzi will end up being the best qb of this entire draft.

"IT" isnt a tangible thing either. Ricky Stanzi has "IT". Whatever the hell "IT" is! LOL........................

DD,

Say we get a real #2 wr in the draft and Zack Miller in free agency. Also say we draft Stanzi 4th rd.

"IF" and thats a big "IF", Henne comes around and begins to finally be the qb we wanted him to be. Stanzi only cost us a 4th rd pick.

Then say we end up with a Drew Bledsoe Tom Brady situation. Stanzi takes over for Henne and never looks back. All it cost was a 4th rd pick to make it happen. LOL............

Dying..The one thing that concerns me most about Locker are 1 his accuracy. I would be willing to trade accuracy for a rifle arm anyday. Of course if you have both....sweet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q952PY7LyQk

Live chad henne is a joke song.

DD,

Wasnt mentioning using our 1st rd pick on Locker. Just comparing that I believe Rodgers might could follow a similar Rodgers like pattern if allowed to "SIT" for 3yrs under another great qb. As you know that doesnt qualify in Miami.

He would be run out of here by our vicious blood thirsty fans if he couldnt be a starter by year 2 after being a number one draft pick! LOL.................

I have to say that video is bad for Henne. He has few leadership qualities obviously, im not sure where the Dolphins go for a good QB from here, I guess we wait for the player strike thats about to happen to do what it has to do. I think everyone knows that Henne is not going to lead the Phins to the Superbowl.

DD, also accuracy is good but ball placement is great. Its still not enough to just be acurate on this level. Qb's who begin to master ball placement almost always hav 2-3-4 recievers with great YAC stats.

Dying..The best thing that Chad Henne could realistcally do for this franchise. Is to play well enough to give us time to develop a real future franchise guy.I don't think that Henne will ever be a Super Bowl quarterback. I don't think anyone we may add to replace him is that caliber either. If Henne can improve enough so this team can steadily get better. It might be the biggest, and most important contribution he can make

Bootris- The video you're referring to is very old news with almost everyone here. It came out going on 4yrs now.

Just glad you're catching up! LOL..............

DD,

I would like to see Henne allow us enough time to develop Ricky Stanzi. I believe Stanzi's going to be special. He needs a good pro qb coach to get a hold of him. He has all of the other skills, including the one that cant be taught. "IT"!

I actually saw a Mock draft somewhere that had us taking Stanzi 5th rd. Im serious.

Just hope our fo is smart enough to take this kid if still sitting there 3rd or 4th rd.

Alright...the room is spinning, time to pass out. It would sure be sweet to get to the top of the mountain one day...congrats to the Pack.Well done

God bless us all next year!!!! Last year I paid for the full year, this year I paid for 6 months. This might be my last post, so thanks for everything!!!!

THE GREEN BAY PACKERS AND ARRON ROGERS HAVE WON THE SUPER BOWL

Aloco!!! What???? You just woke up????
