Q&A insights: The salary cut or layoffs

It has been widely reported by other media that the Dolphins plan no salary rollbacks to coaches or furloughs to staffers if the collective bargaining agreement is not resolved.

This is only partially correct.

During my Q&A session with Dolphins CEO Mike Dee, the only moment when I believed I was getting the politically correct answer was when I asked if anyone -- including coaches, personnel people and staffers -- would be furloughed, fired or have their salary cut.

And I got the definite no ... followed by the classic escape clause of "for now."

I've been down this road before. Years ago, the team's message was that Don Shula planned to coach in 1996 and that "nothing has changed for now." Shula was done days later. Previous to that, I'd been told by Tim Robbie he didn't plan to sell the team "for now" before Wayne Huizenga bought the team. Then I heard from Jimmy Johnson during the winter of 1998 that he planned on staying with the team "right now" only weeks before he quit the first time.

Those eventual misdirections were not on par with Nick Saban's definitive "I will not be the Alabama coach," but they nonetheless left a taste of misdirection on my palate.

So "right now" is a red flag to me. And that is why I followed up with a search for a categorical answer that could be written in stone. And of course, Dee was not able to provide it. The exchange:

Q. So you cannot state categorically that Dolphins employees, staffers, coaches or others won’t be furloughed, fired or asked to take pay cuts during a work stoppage?

A. “I can say that is our plan for the near term. We’ve communicated openly with our staff that we see it as being business as usual for the moment. We’re taking this one month at a time, one week at a time, even. Clearly, we’ve talked about all of the various scenarios that could play out, but we haven’t made any final plans to move forward with any changes related to the CBA at the present time.”

Dee was being honest. He was being forthright. And he was making it clear that while there are no plans now to cuts jobs or salaries in case of lockout or significant work stoppage -- which as of this writing remains possible despite hopeful signs to the contrary -- those plans can and probably would easily change going forward if labor peace is not achieved within a specified time.

The feeling I got was the Dolphins won't make any cuts until games are threatened. If there were to be a strike of some kind or lockout of some kind that threatened games, I believe the Dolphins would start to trim salaries for their coaches, personnel people and others.

It hopefully will not come to that.

But so much for those definitive reports.

Also, I find it quite humorous how many of you think a BILLIONAIRE investor is going to make decisions merely on who went to what school! Haha...folks this is big business, not the prom dance! You think Ross is going to show one rat hair of allegiance to a Michigan alumni if someone better is avalable? If so, you've been watching too many Walt Disney movies.

blogger from blogsville and all others,

All opinions, projections, conjecture, hypothesis, surmising, wondering, reasoning, hoping and logic from me are purely speculation.

I have no inside scoops, plants in the Fins FO, relation to any Fins staff or players.

I just really enjoy the blend of bloggers on this particular blog. While some are funny, hard headed (guilty as charged), smart, football savy, wisdom filled and some are loons... it makes for a nice blend.

You are 100% correct in that no one except Ireland, BP and TS truly know of exactly how much or little input that each puts in save those right in the room.

Cheers,

No animals were harmed in the making of this post. A model Jet did lose a wing though..whoops! LOL

Rob,

Did you just say Parcells drilled his jolly green giant into Irelands head?

That would make him more than just a yes man.......wouldn't it?

Davone Bess, Pat White are jolly green giants? I thought they were splinters.

Blogger,

This isn't a guessing game for me.

What I say is not just LAW, it's MARTIAL LAW.

I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but I do have an Aluminum Mini Keg of Heineken.

What I do is drink of this magical elixor until I'm good and God Damn certain that everything I say is unequivocal FACT!!!!

ODIN HAS SPOKEN!

odinseye, after a rant like that the least you can do is offer me a pint! C'mon man!

odin,

Oh I see what you mean by your post regarding Mallet. Sometimes players look like they will be King Kong in cleats early and jsut seem to hit a wall or a plateau. Mallet may have done that to you.

Besides losing a close game to Alabama with 357 yards and 65.8 completions and a close Bowl game to Ohio State 277 yards, 2 TDs and 1 pick, Mallet played pretty well all season long. In the loss that was a bit of a route vs Auburn he only had 15 attempts for 1 TD and no INTs. He was 66.7 completion percentage that night.

I am not really in a Mallet or bust mode but, would be very happy to add him as a nice piece to the OFF puzzle.

Cheers,

Valhalla!!!!

I was ranting?

SWEET!!!!

Wait a minute......does that make me a ranter?

I've heard that being a raver is way better.

Oh well, tomato, TO-MAH-TO, it's all GOOD!

odin,

LOL, that grog has you swinging Thor's hammer and cracking heads! Good job.

blogger,

Touche, good call on the Pat White, Devone Bess choices. Hitting 50% is about the average. If only Pat White could have thrown the ball 40% as good as he did in college. Who knew his arm would go all Ramen on him?

Still say there must have been some magic in the old gloves he found...and subsequently had to ditch. Haha.

Cheers,

Blogger From Blogsville...

While I claim no "Dead Certainty" of anything... Just as YOU have no proof or certainly of your statements and considerations... I will bring attention to a couple of "Facts" that are undeniable.
1. Bill Parcells was hired by Wayne Huizenga in 2007 and retained by Stephen Ross on a 4 year $12 Million Contract as the "Executive Vice President of Football Operations".
2. Parcells "Unofficial" job Title was "Football Czar" The reason ANYONE is considered a "Czar" is not necessarily them being "The Boss"... But instead... That person is considered a "Last Word" or a "Absolute expert" concerning the field they are "Czar" over. Many US Presidents have hired "Czars" of "Drug Wars"... or "Environmental Czars"...Etc. They are placed there because their opinion and experience is without equal and should be considered as "The Most educated and trusted view" of a matter.
3. Bill Parcells has 100% say so in the hiring of Jeff Ireland and Tony Sparano. Tony was a First time HC and was obviously well under thumb in his first year and allowed to spread his wings a bit in his Sophomore effort. I attended no less then 10 training Camp 2 a days in both 08 & 09... and in either year... Bill Parcells was rarely far from Tony. And in 08 he was ALWAYS within earshot of his coach.

While I am certain Jeff Ireland made choices, I would be willing to say as "Executive VP of Football Ops" Parcells was the first and last word on anything that had serious effect on the team. Parcells had HIS name attached to the Dolphins... If you are arguing the he would be willing in the role he was hired to allow his reputation and or his credibility to lye solely and without question in the hands of a Rookie Head Coach and Relatively inexperienced (Relative to Parcells experience)Manager... You are going to have to try a WHOLE lot harder then what you have and it would also help to show some personal ownership by adding your name to your opinions.

Jeff and Tony have really Grown up in the last 3 years... But there is no way they have not seen that Henning (Parcells guy) had aniquated idea's and that Parcells had a Player Profile that he insisted on that was leading them in a direction that would be hard to compete against fast teams. At his age and with his experience, there were not many if any that would be willing to call Henning out. He has earned that respect through the years.

Don't ever get it Twisted... Blogger Dude..

Bill Parcells ran the show in Miami all the way through the 2010 draft. Whatever he saw, or whatever he decided in early Summer broke that absolute leadership at the most difficult and the most confusing time he could have. Parcells left the team with HIS Stamp on it... and HIS coaching staff stuck with what he built. Since we have NOT seen even ONE off season with Tony, Jeff, Mike and Brian making the decisions without Bill... I believe anything you may say or even believe to be true to be speculation and conjecture. I believe all that I have placed before you to be indisputable fact. Unless you know something or someone I don't.

I'm glad he's gone... and wish he would have left when Huizenga sold. I would be willing to bet Henning would have not been here in 2010 and that the Drafts would have looked somewhat different in 09 and 10...

Derek, I don't have to try anything at all. You are free to consider my point or reject it as I am yours. However, your post, if you can read it objectively, has little fact and lots of opinion and conjecture. Read it and see. There have been some reports on certain issues along the way, how accurate nobody knows, that Parcells would offer his opinion and then tell Ireland to make the final call. Czar shzmar...just words, titles. Parcells is one arrogant man, set up Atlanta, was claiming publicly ready to sign with them that very day, yet in the end, only to squeeze a little more juice out of Wayne. Thats a fact. I'd give no creedence to the titles. Sure he brought Ireland and Sparano in. If anything Parcells knows, is that you have to let coaches do their job their way, as he needed to, and GM's too. I give credit to Parcells coaching history, as a VP of operations, its an unknown record...fans didn't know how checked out he was until months after the fact.

You first admit that you don't have dead certainty on anything...and then imply that I am twisted, as though you are not. Do you see the irony of that? Probably not. Happy blogging.

Ok here is another hypothetical question. Say the CBA is resolved, and we can make player trades on draft day. I went back and looked at player trades for the first round in the last three drafts. Teams that moved up 1 or 2 spots didn't really have to sell the farm to aquire these spots. None had to give up second or even third rounders to move up. Suprising. Many instances it was a player, and a 4th or 5th. Some were just swaps, and a later round draft pick. So here is my hypothetic question.

Say Julio Jones is still avaiable to Detroit at 13.(I know this is far fetched, but not totaly unreasonable)What would be a realisic trade up for Jones. Would our number 15 for their 13 and Devon Bess, and say Reshad Jones be fair? How about John Jerry, and Phillip Merling. Is this too much? What would you give up, if anything to make this happen?

ODINSEYE,

IF ARMANDO IS RIGHT NO PLAYER IS AROUND , PICK ME AN INTERVIEW ARMANDO HAD WITH A DOLPHIN PLAYER LAST 2 YEARS AND HE PUT THAT PLAYER IN FAIR SPOT ,I AM NOT SAYING IN PSITIVE SPOT,JUST FAIR .THE TRUTH IS THE PLAYERS ON THIS TEAM KNOW THAT ARAMANDO ISN'T FAIR TOWARD ANY OF THEM AND THAT CAME TO ME THROUGH A PLAYER .

UNTILE ARAMANDO LEAVES HIS OLD NEGITAVE WAY OF INTERVIEWING PLAYERS ,HE WILL NOT GET ONE WITH ANY PLAYER,JUST WITH OLD PLAYERS .

Good point Aloco

DD, Bess I'd keep. But for only moving up two spots, maybe offer Hartline and Merling. Not sure that would do it but you never know. I see JJ as one of the real prizes in this draft, most likely gone before 10 and may realistically take too much to trade up for him. Dreaming is ok...but...can't see it happening. I can see Belicheck though using his arsenal of picks to get him.

ODINSEYE,

I NEVER THOUGHT THE DAY WOULD COME TO SEE YOU KISS ARMANDO'S
BEHIND .SHAME ON YOU.

DEREK.........YOUR POSTS ARE GREAT AND THEY LOOK GREAT .

ODINSEYE TO ME WAS THE REBELON THIS BLOG AND TO SEE HIM FALLING DOWN,IT MAKE ME SAD .

Derek,

Your words about Mallett are peotry to me.....very nice read.....

I also have to agree with you on your Parcells take....While none of us will ever be able to confirm or deny exactly what went down....I imagine it was similar to the way you describe it......

DD,

THE SHOES YOU TOLD ME TO BUY ,WHERE THEY ARE MADE ?

Darryl,

My hypothetical armchair GM answer would be NO!

I wouldn't trade Bess or Jones or any combination thereof to move up to number 13 and select Julio Jones.

I would trade Jerry or Merling(or just about anybody else-lol), but I wouldn't trade Bess or Reshad.

As long as I'm being a hypothetical GM, let me add that I myself would be more inclined to explore all trade down scenario's BEFORE I started exploring any possible trade ups.

(am I just trashed or am I racking up the big word scores-BAM-BAM!)

MALLETT HAS THE NICE PACKAGE I LIKE OF QUATERBACKS IN THIS DRAFT.

The good news is this.....if you believe that Parcells had totally control over this regime...As I do.....

Then you can look with optimisim....because with the boss gone....this could be considered a re-building year.....

Gotta find some positive spin....

ONE GREAT ACTOR AND VERY UNDER RATED THE GREAT ..... GENE TIERNEY .

Blogger from Blogsville...I don't think that JJ will be around at 13 either. The draft never plays out as we think it will, always some suprises. Looking at the teams in front of Detroit. Only 3 stick out as teams that may choose a reciever. Some other teams may go this route, but I'm thinking quarterback may be of bigger need. Those teams I could see taking either AJ green or Julio Jones would be. Cleveland, Washington, or Minnesota, maybe Tennesee.

Like I said, this is just a guess. But I brought it up because it isn't to far fetched. Also If JJ falls to 14. I think ST Louis will scoop him up. I could understand why you would be against giving up Bess. But I was trying to make it fair, and reasonable. Hartline would be a good deal for us. But not Detroit. We have to give up something of value.

Mando, here is a definitive report for you....
This is garbage man! Strap your boots on and get out of the office and the radio studio and please do some digging and get us some real meat to chew on here whilst we all are in limbo here. Do some good reporting, the kind of reporting you used to do when you were trying to land your first reporting job. Send a spy into these negotiations, bug Dee's, Tony's and Jeff's office phones..com'on man, get us some dirt!!!

THERE'S A STRONG RUMOR THAT SAID THAT SAID JACK LOCKER WILL BE A FIN COMING NEXT DRAFT .

What does "Atlanta" have to do with Bill Parcells being the EX VP of Football Ops in Miami?
These..."Reports" you speak of... What "Reports"? OH... You mean media opinions...Right?

There are no "Reports" about how Bill Parcells ran football Ops. The reason there are none is that what we are talking about is an actual "JOB", not some idea that we are making up as we go along... it is a set of obligations and responsibilities required to be performed by the person being paid to do them. Its not just "Names... or Titles".... With that ridiculous thinking, one would be free to interpret the President of the United States as just a "HA!... Title"... Just a "Word" that means nothing and coveys nothing... Hey... I even hear there are "Reports" on how the President makes a decision only to tell his White House Secretary to make the "Final Call" on the matter. That thinking is about as far fetched as Parcells making a choice then calling up Jeff and saying "I have made up my mind and that is final... But you do what you feel is best"... Come on Man!... You cannot believe what you are saying here... do you?
In your statement concerning Parcells allowing the coaching to do the job "Their way"... I believe you are correct. But unless you are self employed... you have a superior. And it is that persona job to make certain that you are doing YOUR job to the specs of the position and to HIS expectations. Tony and Jeff were no different.... They had a boss named Bill Parcells and you cannot just dismiss his presence and do whatever the hell you please.
As far as "The fans not knowing how he checked out"... That is an inaccurate statement. It was a media story almost right away. Bill Parcells himself made the announcement on September 7th, 2010. The day he carried his stuff out of the Training facility and placed it in his car. He said at THAT POINT he was leaving the Ex VP job for that of a Football Consultant to the Dolphins... Here is that News release
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/09/07/bill-parcells-slides-into-consultant-role-with-dolphins/... So... The fans were not left wondering at any point. As I said before... We have no idea what the reasons were... That is after all... HIS business.

Your right... Blogger... or whatever your name is... I do NOT see the Irony of my post... But I DO see the inaccuracy and the loosely assembled and spotty information that you have presented in your statement.

In the end its not that important... But whatever it is you are trying to get across has fallen flat with me sir... I'm still trying to determine what "Atlanta" has to do with what Bill Parcells role in Miami and who was in charge in Miami... it sounds like something you just through against the wall to see if it stuck".... I could be wrong.... But I doubt it.

Aloco,

I wasn't kissing up to Armando. On the contrary. It was a tongue in cheek shot at him. Re-read it.

I wrote back off guys, Armando says everybody is out of town. Then I followed up with the only thing happening is the CBA negotiations-HINT! HINT! You know like-Duh Armando-fill us in on the CBA talks!

I thought I was drunk! I hope Armando realises I wasn't sucking up!

ARMANDO-THAT WAS A "STAB" DOG! A SEAB I TELL YA, I WAS COMING RIGHT AT YOU WID DAT!!!!

lol...odinseye......................... your place in our hearts will NEVER BE SHAKEN .
]

There are FEW people on this blog....... that can make you look silly..... if you don't come with your facts straight and your opinions in line.....

Derek is one of those people.....
DC Dolfan is another.....

Later folks....

ALoco...Danskos are made in the USA baby! Pennsylvania I think. Somewhere back east.

Odin...No right or wrong answer. I was just playing the Hypothetical game. I wouldn't do it for Bess, or Jones either. I was just trying to make it fair. A guess the real question should have been. Do you ever think the Dolphins would trade up? Probably not. But moving up 1 or 2 spots doesn't set you back anywhere like moving up 10 spots, so the risk isn't so much.

I'm still trying to figure out how we get into the second round. If you figure it out, let me know! Sometimes Heinekken makes a guy smarter. Or so I have heard.

THANK YOU DD ............ CHINA OR ANY OTHER COUNTRY IS BANNED FROM MY HOUSE BASED ON INTEGRITY OF LABOUR ,

ONLY ,MADE IN THE USA ,I RATHER PAY 140 DOLLARS FOR SHOES ARE MADE HERE THAN BUYING 5 FRON HSN AND MADE IN CHINA .

Derek,

I'm surprised you are going on so much on this. I expressed a mere opinion on others seemingly claiming they actually knew the dynamics of the inner trio, which you even agreed only they could possibly know. So you agreed with the main gist of my post.

What does Atlanta have to do with it? Well it shows cunning, dishonesty, a user, and a man who doesn't not take responsibility for his own word. So how much was he really the ruler he was paid to be and how much was he training the trainees and letting them sink or swin on their own? Who knows...he has already shown he doesn't always do what he says.

So yes the media reported he checked out of his office on that date fine. They also reported that Sparano, the HC if you remember, said he rarely even spoke to him anymore, and that he mainly dealt with Ireland. Ireland said that he spoke with BP once a week or so, as needed. Was all that truth or spin? Who knows. But if what they said was true, than that shows BP was in consulting mode rather than ruler mode long before he gave up his office.

Reject everything I say, its fine. Not worth getting worked up over. I have nothing more to add on this subject.

Heineken makes me "hypothetically" smarter. Don't ask me how I know, I can just tell.

Detroit needs help in the secondary. I'd give them Bell-Nolan Carrol and throw in Merling for the hell of it!

Aloco,

Derek and Blogger are fighting all sophisticated like. Using big words and saying things like "I have nothing more to say".

I long for the good ole days ALOCO. Remember when we use to fight?

You would call me a raping, murderous thief and I would call you a beady eyed little roach of a rodent!

This blog sure has come a LONG ways!!!!

ODIN,

I CAN TELL THAT THE HEINEKEN IS WORKING , THEY R NOT FIGHTING,WE WERE FIGHTING BUT AT LAST WE NOW KNOS THAT FIGHTING DOESN'T PAY .

Armando,
Here is a crazy draft idea, what about trading down a couple spots and getting Prince Amaka-whatever his name from Nebraska. That dude is going to be all-world solid, team him with a vontae davis getting better and better..now we can pressure the QB like crazy, our defensive line will be better from it. It would allow the offense to not have to be totally relied on to be lightyears better, which anyone with common sense knows we cannot realistically do with one year of draft and free agent signings. Not without perfection in the draft, and all /any of the free agent pick ups being great. Just an idea.

Dolphinvann

Ok, slaughter my idea forum.LOL

You put up a nice argument, Blogger... No hard feeling I hope? I am certain you feel as you do for good reasons...

I know I probably have Aloco ready to strangle my ass with these posts he hates... Sorry Aloco... Really. I am...

I get worked up over Parcells guys... While I think he did some good things here, I believe there were some inconsistencies and BS "Profiles" that cost our team dearly in the end... Please for give my rants... It because of the love... I swear!

AT LAST, WE NOW KNOW THAT FIGHTING DOESN'T PAY

Vann..I'm not going to raise hell to anyone with a good idea. We need help at the nickel spot. This could be Allen, or Carrol, or a draft pick/ free agent. Nickel corner is the most unsung, perhaps difficult position on the defense. It is also a position that is being recognized by good teams as a spot where you can no longer just throw anyone out there. The evolution of the rules, and pass happy spread offenses have given teams a huge advantage.

Look at what is asked of these nickel guys. You not only have to defend vertically, but also the width of the field. You don't have the advantage of the sidelines to use. Your help comes from a linebacker(most of the time)
This is a position "of the future" Look for more teams to start putting their most atheletic cover guy in nickel situations to start to give the defense a little better chance when teams spread out.

Fighting doesn't pay?

That reminds me.

Darryl,

What's the deal with bar owners and their insurance?

I got into a fight with a wets fan at a bar last year. I broke the guys nose and convinced the police that it was self defense. An employee at the bar even backed me up.

I even had a follow up interview and was told the prosecutor wouldn't be filing charges against either one of us.

Now the guy is trying to sue the bar for medical bills and I got a letter for another interview. This time it's with somebody from the prosecuting attorneys office.

You ever heard of anything like this?

Derek, all is cool... nothing more than a matter of trying to understand each others side of the debate.

THANK GOD!

I was just about to send you two to your rooms!

You guys do have your homework done.......RIGHT????

Darryl

I agree with you, the NB spot is a really tough one. I have to wonder if our 4th round pick A.J. Edds. At 6-4 247 (that was in April of last year) he has a list of stats as a LB against the pass that is very impressive. I don't means to sell him as NB Coverage, But I feel if he makes the transition, he can help the situation. My first thoughts concerning Allen is Miami may push him into a FS position along with backing up or starting for injury at CB. I'm not sure Will still has the moves to roll with a Slot WR. We'll know in Camp if he can hold Bess in check, Bess is one of the better slots going.

Odin...

Naw... lost it again... and I used my Milk money for weed...

Odin...Sorry, can't help you on that one. I have insurance that covers if someone gets hurt(says breaks an ankle, or steps on glass) I also have insurance in case someone goes out and plows into a family driving home from church(Those damn sunday morning drinkers...I love em') People seem to try and sue for anything they can. It's lame they would try and sue the bar. The guy should sue the jets while he is at it. It was his shameful loyalty that got him jacked up, not the bars fault.
Also I live 2 and a half hours from the cop shop. Plenty of time for "all of the witnesses to see what we need them to see, and turn off the cameras as if they were never on...oops"

... and I used my Milk money for weed...

THAT'S IT! YOU"RE GROUNDED YOUNG MAN!

Spent up all your lunch and didn't show Father Odin no love.............damn kids!!!!

Odin..

I can tell you this. As far as any criminal charges, the State has a certain amount of time to file. If the guy is trying to sue the bar for injuries... that means the bar's insurance for police report of the incident. That means they are looking for who THEY wish to hold Liable (the Bar's insurance) If in your position, I would first find out how long the state can go without filing. Generally its 90 days or so depending on the charge. If they are bringing you in for a statement so the police report will be available for the Bars insurance... DO NOT GIVE A STATEMENT WITHOUT A LAWYER... or you may just find yourself liable by saying some very silly thing. If they still have time to charge you... and they are interviewing you for that purpose, make certain you press charges on the other guy. ADMIT NOTHING... and get a lawyer.
Don't take it lightly, Odin. Yo8u get end up with an assault charge or being sued. What you say will have a VERY BIG EFFECT on what happens. If they read you your rights before the interview, Chances are they are considering charging you. DON"T let them charge you without saying you wish to press charges also.

I wish I could tell you more.... but you need to answer the first question before anything "Do they still able... and Are they charging you or not?" Once you know that... you can act accordingly.

Derek,

I'll just tell them straight out: The guy was jet fan, he got what he deserved.

OK, just kidding, but seriously, thanks for the heads up.

It was self defense though. He was talking mad trash and EVENTUALLY I started trying to VERBALLY provoke him.

Well, I guess I shouldn't say "trying" cause it worked-LOL.

Thanks for the info.

Derek..great posts today..

Alright fellas, see ya'll in a few days. Going to go try and wrangle some trout. I'm sure the stories will be like all fishing stories. The trout much more abundant and a few inches bigger each time the story is told....

Have Fun Darryl... Be careful....

Odin,

Regretfully I have had a few brushes with "The Man"... in my younger days. It is a simple equation, I was born and raised in South Florida in the 60's, 70's and 80's..... The 90's were for rehabs and growing up....
I never got in any serious trouble but have been around a BUNCH of it with family and friends... There are just a few things to keep in mind. When you are the subject of a police investigation of any sort... The police are no longer there to protect and serve... they are there to close a case they have open and you going to jail or having a charge against you waiting to go to court does that... They will do whatever they can to get it done. You can say something so simple and seemingly innocent that justifies what they call "Probable cause" without even realizing it.

I'm dead as serious bro... Find out if they are able and are looking to charge you or what before you say a damn word. You can't take it back once you say it... I decent lawyer will charge you about $250 - $500 just to be there for a interview... If you do NOT have one... Bail could cost you Thousands... then you still need a lawyer and all that.

Don't just take this as a "No Biggie" It can blow up in your face and cost you dearly....

That's what I say, thatswhatisay, how come Bill Parcells signedoff on the Pat White pick? Illneverunderstandit, illneverunderstandit.

FTS, man. That's serious stuff.

Darren Sproles

By the way, I would like to see some of us step into Armando's shoes(Clarks?). Not me, man, I'm only brave in this very comfortable Space.

Heineken is good, but I like my German. At any rate, they are (outtasight) as compared to those almost weightless ones.

Odin, odds are you can quash any charge you're hit with. Also, generally, if a civil attorney makes enough noise, or places the right call, the state will revisit the issue. In your case, based on the nature of the incident and how long ago it was, I think you'll be fine.

Odin, it's your brother Redsky, retired 34 year cop....self defense, stick to it, everyone was drunk, no one is going to remember the sequence of events. So he swung at you first. Trust me on this, admit nothing to anyone! Contact me if you have further questions.....
