Dolphins are not interested in Plaxico Burress

Yes, I'm still on vacation. But I'm not sipping drinks garnished with little umbrellas on some island and I'm certainly not hiking any mountain. I'm home. And I'm aware.

And I'm keenly aware many of you are wondering if the Dolphins are going to show interest in wide receiver Plaxico Burress, who was released Tuesday from prison after serving 21 months for a gun crime related to his blowing a couple of holes in his leg at a nightclub in 2008.

Burress, 34 when the NFL season eventually begins, may be an interesting topic. But I am told by a reliable source the Dolphins are "absolutely not" interested in Burress.

So much for that rumor.

I happen to agree the Dolphins should have zero business interest in Burress, despite the fact he is a South Florida resident. Why?

Did I mention he'll be 34 in August?

Did I mention he just spent 21 months in jail?

Did you know he has not played NFL football since 2008?

Did you know it is now 2011?

Maybe none of that bothers you. Maybe you think Burress can be the next coming of Michael Vick. And perhaps he can weave a tale of redemption and resurrect his fading career. I hope he does.

But Michael Vick was 28 years old when he returned to the NFL, not 34. And it still took him a year to get up to speed again.

Sorry, but the odds are against Burress. And it simply doesn't make sense for Miami to take that gamble.

Burress, in his prime, was an imposing 6-foot-5 target who combined that great size with very good speed and an increasing experience of defenses that made him very dangerous. But even in 2008, following his grand 2007 performance that helped the Giants win the Super Bowl, Burress was a troubled dude.

He was missing practices and was late to team meetings and was something of an enigma in the Giants locker room. He was also apparently in decline. After catching 70 passes for 1,025 yards in 2007, Burress had only 35 catches in 10 games in 2008. His average per catch was the lowest since his rookie year and the lowest in what was a steady four-year decline from 19.9 in 2004 to 16.0 in 2005 to 15.7 in 2006 to 14.6 in 2007 to 13.0 in 2008.

And you expect it will go up after not playing since the winter of 2008 and spending 21 months in jail?

Here's another thought for you to consider:

If the Dolphins decide they want a receiver to help Brandon Marshall and Davone Bess and the rest of the receiver corps in 2011, they aren't going to chase a 34-year-old guy. They're going to chase someone in his prime.

Did you know Santonio Holmes is a free agent? He's 27 years old. And fast. And hasn't been in jail the past two years. He played football last year ... and the year before. And putting him out there with Brandon Marshall would turn just about any QB into a playmaker. And it would be a blow to the Jets to lose him.

Did you know Braylon Edwards is a free agent? He's 28 years old. And his yards per reception number last year was 17.1. He also was a Michigan teammate of Chad Henne's and the two had good chemistry together. And yes, he drops passes, but he caught 53 last year for 904 yards and seven touchdowns.

And seven TDs is only one fewer than Brandon Marshall and Davone Bess had combined in 2010.

I am not saying the Dolphins will be interested in either Edwards or Holmes. But I am using them to illustrate the point that if Miami were to dip into the free agent WR market, there would be several players that make much more sense than Plaxico Burress.

Think on that.

So back to vacation I go. Please follow me on twitter as I am on there regularly and you can interact with me while I'm on this great vacation I'm on -- thinking about football.

Yazzi,

Running a 4.5 forty could be considered slow depending on which planet one's from. However, on Earth 4.5 forties are not. You just dont usually blaze by db's with that speed on a regular basis.

The rookie Gates runs a sub 4.4 forty, 4.38 at the combine. To which Gates responded was the slowest he's ever been timed. He has been timed as low as 4.28. Now that's blow bye speed.

..I laugh about how people say our recievers are slow. Are they world class sprinters? No. but they do have speed. Just being fast is pointless. If you cannot beat corners off the line your speed is nuetralized as far as getting open down the field. Good technique will beat flat out foot speed everytime.

Namdi Asimngowa was giving an interview on the radio the other day, and he touched on this. He was talking about how the most difficult guys to cover are the physical recievers. guys that do not let the corners get their hands on them off the line. He said the biggest misconception is that you have to have bullet speed recievers to get the ball deep down the field. He also said that there are no "slow" recievers, and you cannot just look at 40 times and equate that to how a guy plays.

There are ways to get guys open down the field. A lot of time the plays are schemed to trick the defense. You don't really see corners that just get ran past unless there in mis communication..This is one area of Gates game that he will have to work on. Go back an look at all the you-tube highlights. Gates never gets touched off the line. And he just runs past defenders. This will not happen in the NFL. If his technique is not sound, he will not be that deep threat we all hope he can be.

DD,

Dont get it twisted, Gates is no Teddy Ginn. He's far more athletic. IMO it wont be very long before db's will be giving him cushions in fear of being blown bye deep. That also gives the opportunity to catch short hitches, make the defender miss and still take it all the way to the house.

Still everything depends on Henne taking his game to a level we didnt see in 2010, except for very limited spurts.

I dont expect Gates to become a starter right away. He still needs much improvement on his route running abilities. However I do expect to see him make a great rookie contribution in the new fangled offense. In the beginning I expect to see him make gameday roster on st's in order to get offensive plays at wr.

Hartline probably remains starter at #2 wr for much of the season. But should Gates come on big time he will overtake Hartline sometime after the 8th game of the season.

Darryl...

I get that being s receiver is all about separation...

...and there are many ways to get separation without blowing past someone.

But I still have this wish that the Dolphins had someone who scares the cr@p out of opponents with his speed. THAT would make a significant impact because it creates bigger seams in a secondary...
.
.

I just hope that Gates develops into what we need him to be.
.
.

Yeah but what's the point of having Gates and BM blow past DB's if Henne can't hit the target...it turns into a lot of wind sprints for our WR's and a lot of punts

We need a franchise QB period. Hey Mando and crew here....
What do you guys think of Pryor now entering the NFL instead of going back to Ohio State? Is he a feasible option at QB for us? I think so...maybe, possibly...

I'm still holding out hope
(at least for this year) that Henne can hit a target...
.
.

Darryl, hire an attorney, don't go into an IRS Audit alone, EVER

Yeah DD, what bobby12 said... You ALWAYS want an attourney with you for something like that my friend. If you go in alone..they will start salivating

Dear Phinatic you are so right ! This team has made a history of it's self by passing up incredable talent in that last 10 years its amazing. They has shot at Drew brees right out of college and by passed on him, too. They had a shot at Mallet this year and passed. Don't get me wrong Mallet isn't NFL ready now anyway, but what about the future ? They had a shot at Hakeen Nicks and like you said they passed. They also had a shot to put Dez Bryant and B. Marshall on the same offense and passed on that also. Now Dez has had some troubles lately but maybe if he got drafted by Miami instead of Dallas his career might have taken a different road. This organization has made alot of dumb blunders when it scouts talent. We need to start over .... again !!!!

be interesting to see who our qb will be when we start playing again in 2012, it def wont be henne. we will need another solid draft also. no excuses from our scouts and coaches since we wont have a season they can watch every player in college play this year

pryor could be a guy miami should look at

If the Dolphins aren't interested in a guy like Santonio Holmes, then I have NO respect for what this leadership THINKS they know about football personnel nor do I believe they will have ANY chance in forming a lasting elite team.

Holmes would come in one of the top 3-4 players on the team, OFF THE BAT!!! He's miles better than any receiver currently on the roster, except maybe Brandon Marshall (of Denver days). If Henne couldn't do well with Marshall and Holmes, then he doesn't even belong in the Arena Football league, he'd be officially a bust and a joke. Imagine defenses having to double-team Marshall AND Holmes, leaving Bess alone to probably become the greatest slot receiver in HISTORY.

This is a REAL offensive-minded coach's wet dream, and if this FO doesn't think highly of Santonio Holmes, then they should retire from football and do something they're better at, maybe digging ditches or something!

dc we both already know this entire operation from coach to gm to owner is horrible. nothing will change until sparano and ireland are gone. and ross is a complete idiot when it comes to football, hes already admitted he wish he didnt buy the team

Edwards and Holmes will resign with the Jets. No way they let either go!!!

I really like Vince Young throwing to either B Marshall or Santonio Holmes on every other play. I like that a lot. Must admit tho, I wasnt carzy about Miami signing VY, but the idea is beginning to grow on me. Chad may be the QB, but I dont think so.

eric, they may not have a choice, they have lots of FA's to resign, and they can't sign all of them. But I think they'll keep Holmes if they keep one.

edwards sucks, jets will easily let him walk

and we better not even think of vy, guy is garbage. sign bulger for 2012. quick, accurate, smart. alot like pennington to help us get back to being decent. then in 2013 hopefully have a young qb we drafted in 2012 to start and a new coaching staff

DC dolfan, agree with your 8:25 post! holmes would be an excellent addition. we would strengthen our receiver corp while weakening our opponent. i'd love to get brad smith too in FA. we would really help ourselves by getting those 2 FA. money talks. i like woodhead alot too before the pats grabbed him. problem is we dont have a real GM; just a wannabe.

lol greg. Brad Smith would be a fine catch. I hear they're now planning for an 8-game season. That means Henne won't win more than 8 games in his first 3 seasons (not a good stat). Guess we'll be waiting until Oct. for football. Disappointing.

DYINGBREED:

ABOUT LEBRON JAMES:

IF I WAS A GM I WOULD DO THE SAME THING AS A GM MY JOB WOULD BE TO MAKE THE BEST TEAM I CAN.

I JUST DON'T THINK I CAN PLACE THEM ON THE SAME FIELD OR COURT MIND YOU AS THE CHAMPS OF YESTER YEAR.

BRON BRON WENT OUT LIKE A SUCKER.

I COULD SEE BOSH GOING HIS TEAM WASN'T GOING ANYWHERE BUT BRON BRON WAS IN THE EASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP.

I'M A BULLS FAN AND I NEVER WANTED BRON BRON I WANTED WADE.

PLUS HIM GOING TO NY WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT FOR THEM BUT I'M SURE THEY'RE GREAT WITH MELLO.

HE HAD THE CHANCE TO PUT A MAJOR CITY BACK ON THE MAP BUT HE RAN TO HIDE BEHIND WADE AND BOSH.

HE COULD OF WENT AND TOOK THE BULLS BACK TO THE PROMISE LAND AND LIVE IN MIKES SHADOW BUT THAT'S TO MUCH TO ASK FOR.

HE COULD HAVE STAYED HOME AND MADE EVERY ATTEMPT TO BRING IN ANOTHER PLAYER.

BUT HE RAN FROM BEING GREAT TO BECOME A SUPER PIPPEN.

Justin,

After this series, let there be NO talk about LeBron being the best ever. Heck, he's not even the best NOW (Kobe). And forget about putting him up against MJ. Jordan on his WORST day during the Playoffs was the best player on the floor still. LeBron isn't even the best player in this series (Dirk or D Wade), he's THIRD.

But, this series just shows how much basketball is rigged. You can tell Miami is just pushing the series to 7 games so they can all make their money. Stern, coaches, refs, all in on it. You'd NEVER see that from the NFL, and that's why football is the best sport in the U.S. (not basketball or baseball).

We have our stud receiver in Marshall....see ya plexiglass, have a nice life.

DC:

I AGREE.

HOWEVER THE BEST THING TO COME OUT OF THIS IS ROSS IS GOING TO WANT THE BEST PLAYERS ON HIS TEAM.

I KNOW THE FINS WILL MAKE A BIG SPLASHIN THE NEXT 4 YEARS.

I DON'T THINK ROSS IS GOING TO TAKE THIS LAYING DOWN.

THE FINS HAVE ENOUGH MONEY UNDER THE CAP TO GET JUST ABOUT ANYBODY.

I'M EXCITED

justin ,

THE DOLPHINS ARE HAVING ENOUGH MONEY UNDER THE CAP TO GET THEIR LOSSES BACK FROM LAST 2 SEASONS .........

THE DOLPHINS WILL NOT SPEND MONEY AS LONG AS SPARANO THE HC AND AFTER KNOWING WHAT NEXT SEASON WILL BRING ,,,,,,,,,,,,

Dolphins set at WR? HaHa. No one said that last year. Just because we have Gates doesn't mean we are all of a sudden the best WR core in the league. We could definately use a guy who is MONEY in the red zone and gets Chunk yards like Plaxico. Did u forget about all those field goals?

Wish the CBA gets contracted soon...

Where is Odinseye?

Saw what you wrote six weeks ago, cyclops. Go slap YOURSELF and take YOUR jockstraps from your knees. Slingshot lover.

I wrote that the fins would now have to draft - for years - around the prospects of N.E.'s Mallott, and N.O.' Ingram... and we will you idiot. Mostly because every team must address their opponets weapons.

Sometimes a team drafts inward, to prop up a guy (like Henne: hence, Pouncey) but mostly, you draft towards your opponets strenghts.

Trust me cyclops, we will be drafting defensive corners and safeties and pass rushers in a few years because otherwise, Mallott and N.E. will be a unquestionable threat that plauges us relentlessly.

Now, go slap YOURSELF, punk.

Good, he sucks

We the dolphins want to win NOW...I would get Plax, Still a beast, dont have to sign him to a 5 years contact, SOOOOO what he's 34...hes a beast,,,The jets probaly would pick'em up an he'll score like 3 touchdowns on us then the staff would be like why we didn't pick'm up...We need to get rid of Henne bum ass, Henne dont put NO fear in anyone's DEFENSE...like BRADY,MANNING. We need a QB that put fear in defenses in the air an on the ground...that'll open it up for everyone, RB,WR...Ithink we should get Vince Young...so what he had problems in his past, who doesn't evryone has so type of issue...#one thing is to WIN....dont have to like the person, but the person would help you WIN... TRUE DOLPHINS/HEAT FAN thank you

DC...I disagree about football and rigging. The Steelers were handed the Super Bowl against the Seahawks.

TRUE DOLPHINS FAN...our Defense needs alittle help...I think we should go after Kris Jenkins.hes been cut from the jet only because he was hurt...Is he a beast.....YES...sometime you gotta peay alittle money to get monster and thats what Kris is..
Alteriek Whitten

Mando,

After the NWO & HAARP Severe Weapon od Mass Destruction burns up over 500 miles of land in Arizona and destroys the air quality in the surrounding states, How many more weeks til the Big California HAARP triggered Earthquake of over 10 on the scale?

Got HAARP Tornadoes?

See the magnificent HAARP lightening over the volcanic eruption?

have a HAARPy day

Burress is a strange one, its 50-50 for if we get him cheap he is a legitamate go to guy. If not its no biggie we have plenty of WR's. Gates is the future, hopefully he'll be davone Bess with Ted Ginn's speed.

I still hope we get VY, but Terrelle Pryor, as some people have said, would be a good pick up in the Supp Draft, as a project QB or Brad Smith type of player, love to get Smith himself too.

I also have a good feeling about that Mark Herlizch(the LB who had cancer) as well as Josh Portis

People who think a player who has not played since 2008, can come out of a 21 month jail sentence and be ready to play, or even be HALF of what they were, are just plain not thinking. Don't they realize the training and diet required to be in game shape? Not to mention not having taken a hit in 3 years? At 34 yo, Plax will be luckly to make a minor contribution and to stay healthy. He ain't worth a dime to us.

..Thanks for the advice last night about the audit stuff. Luckily my accountant has a tax lawyer in their firm that takes care of this stuff. They already are on the ball...

CAN PLEX GET IT DONE YEAH HE CAN.

SO WHAT HE WAS AWAY FROM THE GAME 2 YEARS.

HE PLAYED THE GAME 25+ YEARS.

GATES HARTLINE BESS ARE FASTER BUT YOU CAN'T TEACH THEM HOW TO BE 6'6.

HE BEING IN JAIL MEANS HE CAN LIFT AND RUN MAYBE NOT FOOTBALL WORKOUTS.

HELL THE PLAYERS ARE LOCKED OUT SO THEY'RE NOT IN FOOTBALL SHAPE.

HE IS 34 AND I WOULD RATHER GET A HOLMES OR EDWARDS OVER PLEX.

BUT I WOULD TAKE PLEX AS A NUMBER 2 OVER HARTLINE ALL DAY.

ALTERIEK:

TOM AND PEYTON ARE TEN YEARS OLDER THAN CHAD.

NOBODY WAS SCARED OF THEM AFTER THIER FIRST YEAR AS STARTERS.

JUSTIN

YOU ARE HIGH ON DRUGS IF YOU THINK YOU CAN MAINTAIN FOOTBALL SHAPE ON A PRISON DIET. FEW CALORIES, LITTLE PROTEIN, JUNK FOOD DIET. PLAX WAS NEVER A HARD WORKER IN PRACTICE SO EVEN LESS IN PRISON. THE LOCKED OUT PLAYERS ALL PLAYED LAST SEASON. PLAX NOT SINCE 2008! TOOK VICK AT 28 A FULL YEAR TO GET HIS LEGS BACK. AT 34 HIS QUALITY FBALL TIME IS DONE DONE DONE. YOU ARE GENUINELY STUPID.

Still difficult to definitively state what LeBron's true problem is. I've narrowed it dont to either one of two or a combination of both:

1. Lebron's playing way too many minutes throughout the playoffs and championship series. Fatique may be beginning to set in late during the championship series as direct result of far too many minutes.

2. Sometimes these guys that have been the mega-stars of thier teams since grade school have never quite developed the fine art of playing "consistently" well without the ball in thier hands. Especially offensively.

However, it may be more likely its a combination of both. But still I dont like the fact that Lebron at times defers to players who shouldnt have the ball in thier hands when the shot-clock is at 8 seconds or under. That's when we end up with turnovers or shot clock violations, same as a turnover.

Justin,

We have Marshall, Hartline, Bess, and just drafted Gates. These are all very young or fairly young wr's. Just who are you willing to kick off the team to bring in the 35yr old Plax?

Also, what sense does it make to get one of the present wr's for a guy who has about 2 season max and athletically is already past his prime?

Lebron just gets psyched out in the finals. It's that simple. It's almost like he wants a trophy so bad he is scared of winning it. I don't think its fatigue. Dirk is older and played better with a fever.

Simply put, Lebron is a choker with the big chips on the line. HE may have lost the series for the Heat at this point.

But dont worry Justin,

The dumbest post today yet is someone clamoring for Terrel Pryor. With all of the allegations now swirling around him screaming bad decision maker. I cant understand how anyone can use the same lips to say that they are a true Dolphin fan to say bring in Terrell Pryor.

Still, we havent even gotten into the fact that nearly all of the experts to a man, concure Pryor's a huge project at qb on the nfl level. Pryor is pretty much heading down the same exact road Maurice Clarrett traveled. We all know how that played out.

Just say no to Terrell Pryor. Marshall is a pussycat in comparison.

HEY RETARDED:

WHERE IN MY POST DID YOU READ THAT HE IS IN FOOTBALL SHAPE.

P.S

WHY ARE YOU HIDING?

ARE SCARED THAT IF YOU SAID WHO YOU WERE I WOULD REACH THREW THE WIRES AND BITC- SLAP THE SHI- OUT OF YOU.

LOL

TO EVERYONE:

PLEASE GROW SOME BALLS LOOK AT THIS FOOL AS AN EXAMPLE.

HE CAN'T EVEN BE A MAN TO WRITE HIS NAME.

IT'S A SAD DAY THAT PEOPLE WHO DON'T EVEN SEE EACH OTHER HAVE TO HIDE.

I FEEL SORRY FOR THIS LOSER AND THOSE UP HERE LIKE HIM.

WE AS FANS SHOULD DEMAND MORE FROM OR TEAM AND OUR FANS.

SIR WHOM EVER YOU ARE GET HELP.

YOU CAN DO BETTER.

YOU ARE STRONG.

AND THE NEXT TIME YOU DISAGREE WITH ANYTHING I SAY. STAND TALL AND TELL ME LIKE A MAN.

I DON'T BLAME YOU FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO DO THIS. YOU MUST HAVE BEEN SCARED YOUR WHOLE LIFE.

WELL SIR YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SCARED ANYMORE.

IT'S OK.

NOW CAN WE ALL GIVE HIM A BIG HUG....

If Lebron does not have a HUGE game tomorrow, he will be forever labeled a choker and Miami will lose the series.

JUSTIN

YOU SAY YOU WILL TAKE PLAX (IT'S NOT PLEX, IDIOT) OVER HARTLINE. THAT IMPLIES YOU THINK PLAX IS IN BETTER SHAPE. RIDICULOUS AND REALLY REALLY STUPID. YOU WANT TO TAKE A GUY ON HIS LAST LEGS OVER A GUY THAT HAS GOT YEARS AHEAD OF HIM. PUT HARTLINE ON THAT GIANTS SB TEAM AND HE'D LOOK GOOD TOO. THINK TURD BRAIN.

THIS IS WHY WE HAVE SO MANY POLITICIANS DOING REALLY STUPID THINGS LIKE EXPOSING THEMSELVES ON SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES OR SOLICITING MALE PROSTITUTES IN AIRPORT BATHROOMS. WE HAVE REALLY REALLY DUMB VOTERS LIKE JUSTIN VOTING THEM IN.

rgb,

I think the mistake Spolstra is making is starting Bibby, he's about a third of the player he used to be.

Spolstra should start Chalmers and let him be our primary that runs the offense in the half court set. Lebron has far too much on his plate. Actually the wear and tear of guarding the opposing team's top scorer, having to run our offense at the point, be one of our key rebounders, be one of our key scorers, and play more minutes than any player on any team throughout the entire playoffs. Is the excrutiating toll I'm beginning to see take shape.

Think about, even Jordan was never asked to do so much for so long playing so many minutes. This is the mark I believe everyone including the socalled experts are missing. What does everyone expect, Lebron to come out and say he's exhuasted?

If Lebron admits to this then all of the haters will still label him a whimp. Never has a superstar been asked to do so much while logging so many minutes. Not even Jordan. Everyone forgets the guy is still human.

I doubt that blowing a hole in your leg helps to make you a better WR.

DyingBreed

I have to agree Bibby has seen better days. He is a shell of his old self. Honestly I don't know how many minutes Lebron has been playing, if it has been higher than normal that could be a factor.

One thing that crossed my mind with the two blown leads, was how Belichek would tell his team in the 4th quarter with a lead YOU HAVE TO PLAY ALL 60 MINUTES! Simple advice but necessary. The Heat seem to get cocky with a late lead. Spoelstra needs to send the same message.

JUSTIN.......

IF MIKE VICK CAN GO TO PRISON AND COME BACK TO FOOTBALL IN HIGH FOURM SO THIS GUY PLAXICO ..........DON'T LISTEN TO DB ,HE'S JUST NOT A FOOTBALL MIND .

Even still, Lebron has looked like he wanted no action at times. Maybe its the opposite, maybe Lebron does have an endurance problem and can't play at a high level for long stretches. Some have said that about McNabb.

I'm not even sure how good Bosh is. Is he really good or just good? This may not be the dynasty team some are thinking.

Think of the starting five of other dynasty teams:

Parish, McHale, Bird, Ainge, Johnson
Jabbar, Magic, Worthy, Scott, AC Green
Jordon, Pippen, Rodman, Longley, Harper

The Heat don't have that kind of line up.

I think the dumbest mistake some of Lebron's coaches have made is to make him into a point forward. He has Magic Johnson-like passing qualities but he isnt Magic Johnson. He has Jordan-like qualities but he isnt Michael Jordan.

He's actually like 33% Magic, 33% Jordan, and 33% Lebron James. Still, not only is Lebron being asked to do more than Jordan or Magic, he's being asked to do it playing with another mega-star(Wade) in his own rights.

Magic always had a safety valve in Kareem. Jordan had one of the greatest rebounders in league history(Rodman), Pippen, and one of the deadliest 3 point shooters ever in Steve Kerr.

So you couldnt just stack the lane to prevent Jordan from penetrating. You still have to take into account Wade and James are still learning how to play together and off one another. There are far too many things to take into account before concluding James is shrinking.

IMO, the press, socalled experts, haters, and fans alike are far ahead of themselves in concluding Lebron is melting under pressure. I just see far too many things contributing to the mix of his finals performance thus far, many not his fault, to hastily arrive at the same faulty conclussion.

DB is A BASKETBALL COACH NOW...GIVE US A BREAK MAN .WHY DON'T YOU JUST WRIT YOUR POST AND LEAVE THE GREAT BEHIND LIKE MAGIC AND JORDAN AND KOBE ...........

LEBRON IS JUST ANOTHER GOOD PLAYER ,NOT MORE .

SAFETY VALVE MY FOOT ............

MAGIC ............. 4 RINGS
JORDAN............. 5 RINGS

LEBRON..........100 MILLION CONTRACT .........

rgb,

The nba game is four 12 minute periods totalling 48 minutes. LeBron is averaging about 45 minutes per game the entire playoffs, guarding the opposing team's top 2 scorers at any point during the game, expect to run our offense at point forward, and be one of our top 2 or 3 team scorers. That's not to mention since we dont have a dominant rebounding big man, he's also expected to grab 7-10 rebounds a game.

This has been asked of him since the playoffs began. Not even Jordan had this much of a playoff or championship load to carry. LeBron will never admit it but I believe he's beginning to wear down both mentally and physically being asked to do so much.

Spoelstra needs to at least lighten his load by cutting down to 40 minutes 35-40 minutes max. With both Wade and Bosh we should be able to do it. If not, we dont deserve to win a championship.

ALoco,

As always you're totally clueless. Probably no player in championship or playoff history has been asked to do so many different things for his team while logging so many minutes as Lebron James is being asked to do.

Not Magic, not Jordan, not even your remorseful mother for giving birth to a total nutjob as you. LOL..........

DB,

AS ALWAYS YOU LACK ANY DECENCY BRINGING MY MOTHER TO A BLOG .... NO CLASS FRON SON OF BIT CH .
