Lee Evans is on the trading block in Buffalo, the entire NFL has known for a couple of days.
He's good. Last year was frustrating and injury shortened and disappointing from a production standpoint and he still caught 37 passes for a 578 yards, which is a 15.6 yard per catch average.
He is a classic deep threat sideline receiver.
The Dolphins lack one of those that is proven.
And I seriously doubt when Evans is traded, he will be wearing Miami colors. It doesn't fit. Trades within a division are rare in the NFL. The Dolphins would have to give up something for Evans and they seem too satisfied with their current crop of receivers to make such an offer.
It would require some major boldness by Jeff Ireland to see him as an upgrade at age 30, convince himself he wants Evans, convince Buffalo to give him up to a rival, and somehow negotiate the deal.
I'd like it. But don't see it. Only reason I'm telling you is I've already gotten 12 e-mails and a couple of tweets from Dolphins fans wondering why Miami doesn't make this move.
Arizona has been mentioned as a trade partner. Baltimore, Jacksonville and the New York Giants, too. So, again, it would be a pleasant surprise if he ends up in Miami but that's improbable. I would, instead, consider him not ending up in with New England or the Jets a victory of sorts.
Just sayin'.

Hi Armando,
I think the fins need to sign Henne to about a 2-4 extension. We can get him cheap at this point. If he happens to surprise us all and show marked improvement well we got him pretty cheap. And if he doesnt well then we paid for what we got which is a #2 qb.
What do you think?

Did Miami call NE about Mankins last year??? Just saying.... I don't think it will happen because A. As u said, trades within the division dont happen unless you are the dolphins and trade Welker to NE...and B. It's the dolphins, they don't like playmakers or make moves to get guys we think would make sense...

Hi Fans,
I know some of you are a little upset after seeing Ryan Mallet light it up in tonight's preseason game. Sure he has shown more tonight then Henne has shown his entire professional career. But we have no doubt that within the next 4-5 years, Henne will turn into a HOF QB. He has all the tools to be the next Drew Brees. That is why you need to forget about Mallet and continue to support Chad Henne. Thank you for your support!

The Patriots have some pretty solid depth, so Mallet was playing with some gamers.
The jags pretty much suck across the board, starters and all. Let alone thier third teamers.
So Mallet tore up a bunch of guys that couldn't even play in the CFL.

Say five to Bess in the slot, Hell give Hartline a couple. Clyde to get five, at least. Did I leave anybody out? Oh yeah, Wallace and Marlon Moore will get another six between them. So 42 TDs against >10 picks will send young Chad Henne to the playoffs and his first Pro Bowl.

It's really wierd now that I think about it. I mean, they love me, spend my money, they Party with me(and I mean they PARTY with me).
I seriously don't understand. I always feel like I do a good job. I mean I almost kill myself trying to make sure it's the best ever and almost every single one of them get all Doe eye'd and smiley then give the same response. It usually goes like this:
"Wow, I never did THAT with ANYONE. Seriously, THAT was...........DIFFERENT".
Just when I think I've found the one, just when I think I really knocked the hair off it, they start acting wierd.
It's like they don't want me to meet their friends or they don't want their parents to know their actually "involved" with me. It almost feels like they don't want to be seem in public with me.
This where it gets confusing. It's like a routine. I figure I banged them so hard they had to of fell in love with me.
Then they act like they don't know me all week.
Then they show up at my door and bang all weekend!
It's a vicious circle and it leaves me feeling terribly used.
I try and I try, but, to no avail.
