Wednesday morn: Live practice blog here

Dang, it's hot, The Miami Herald has learned.

Here's other things the Herald has learned. Agent David Canter said on my radio show, Armando and the Amigo this morning, that the club has had zero contact with him about getting Paul Soliai signed to a longterm deal. Soliai, who counts $12-plus on Miami's salary cap, is a prime target for helping lower that cap hit if the team were to find enough confidence to get him signed longterm.

More on the salary cap front, RT Vernon Carey is here. That is an almost certain sign he accepted a pay cut. If he's not, well, you know that doesn't bode well.

The Dolphins are working at 11 a.m. today. It is one day before the team is completely on the field in that Miami has upwards of a dozen players who are not yet allowed to practice based on the fact they were either traded to the team and signed new contracts or were signed as free agents.

Believe it or not the Dolphins defense, which normally wears aqua jerseys in practice, is wearing orange jerseys. The offense is in its traditional white.

I'm wearing shorts. I'm also headed to the comments section for the live practice blog. See you there.

Anyway, the

Reggie Bush is one such player. He switched numbers today, giving Matt Moore the No. 8 he was wearing lately and taking No. 4 instead. Bush will not wear No. 8 or 4 anyway. He's a RB and those are not allowed.

Marc Colombo will wear No. 71 and DJ Jones is wearing No. 65.

In 2008, we were smoke, mirror, and lots of unlucky luck! LOL....

Last year at this time people were hoping the light would come on for Henne.

This year people are still hoping the light will come on for Henne.

How many more years will they hope? Maybe he has no light bulb in his head?

No, no, ALoco, Devlin is no Thigpen.

Oscar. Parcels was a type a dominating personality as most NFL coaches are and have to be. He could be a terror

Which of you gentlemen would like to sail nude with me around the Caribbean? I'll provide the boat, the drinks, and the wity conversation---you provde the hot eye candy. NO FATTIES OR MENTALLY DEFICIENT SLUGS (that should eliminate all but one or two here).

we hated henne checking down, but isn't bush another check down?

So, what looks to be a need? TE, RB, QB, Returner. What else?

fin72........ it's a shame you call that drooling when THERE'S FEW GANGS IN HERE HAVE NO OTHE JOB THAN ATTACKING HENNE .......

THE DROOLING OF ATTACKING HENNE AS IF HE STOLE YOUR GIRIL FRIENDS ...........
THE GANG OF DEFEAT
THE BULLIES GANG
THE PLUMBER GROUP......ALL HAVE ONE GOAL,TO DESTRO HENNE ,AND IT WON'T HAPPEN............. OUT FOR THE DAY ,I HAVE TO GO OUT FOR DINNE .........

what wide receiver is left if we dont get edwards.

I AM ONLY TALKING TO THE NICE PEOPLE THAT DONT USE THE BAD WORDS TODAY.

I am reaching the conclusion that all these great Coaches were crazy MF's.

Alfredo. One that can get open and still has speed and moves. That should help. He could bust upfield on a check down too.

2008, landed Penny, injury proned Smiley/Grove, caught the entire league by surprised with wc(especially the 1st game against Belichik), Favre was nothing spectacular with the Jets, and Brady went down for the season.

However, The Ravens gave us a thorough beating win finally playing a team with purpose. We were all smoke, mirrors, and unlucky lucky before having our fishy flesh picked bone dry by the Ravens in our rd 1 playoff thrashing.

Anyone else wanna brag about the 2008 season?

that is no attack, is a fact

how many passes does henne throw a game over 20 yds... no much.. I like Henne he is the best we have and I will cheer to the end., because im a fan.

Hey dolphin fan in va. Im a fla transplant here in Bristow VA
Wish the skins were playing the fins here this year

Dolphin va. Most here do not see improvements in the team, see what the whole team will look like, and wait for some preseason games. Kind of like buying a car and not seeing the engine can do

Guys,

Henne threw for 3,500yds not even playing the entire 16 game seaso. Seems the suggest to me there isnt a huge wr issue in Miami. Therefore "big money" shouldnt be thrown this way. Hopefully Henne improve in his "crucial moment" factor. Right now he grade a big fat "F" in this phase of his development.

im in springfield, va. i have seen the dolphins play twice in dc once with marino and the year we went 1-15. I almost saw them last year in Miami, but schedule conflicts could not make the game.

Bit db if he improves TP a c and has decent ol to run, we improve our chances

we should have gotten olsen for a 4th round pick

is practice over?

Practise started at 11. Go to. sun Sentinel for a good write up. They were there

LOCO LOCO!

Loco has BPD!

Dolphin fan in va. We are about 45 min away. Any fin fan groups you know of out here. Moved out for GMU grad school. Trying to find a group to watch games with this season.

Maybe, Itch, maybe. We'll see.

Ross is not stupid. If Ireland and Sparano were not doing a great job why did he extend their contracts, huh? Answer me that. They took over 1-15, remember? You expect a Super Bowl in 3 years? They are doing their jobs very well. We need consistency not changing the FO every three years, thata never works.

This blog doesn't have many fans, just cry babies.

new blog up

Some Dolphins players called Shula "inhuman", but only after they collected their SB rings.

sparano on the booing of henne, it made me sick, well sparano you make me sick, as well as ross and ireland. orton trade will not happen and when all is said and done and you give henne the reigns once again and win 2 or three games at best you losers will get your walking papers. this team is pathetic!

sorry mc that is the dumbest sh$t i have ever heard. you actually think a contract extension means anything? sparano will be gone before week 8.

Sparanos comment worries me.

Sick?

In this blog Armando mentions that he's wearing shorts.

What he neglects to mention is the fact that he's wearing women's underwear as well.

Valhalla!

odinseye,

Do you ride the FERRY boat to ?

I'm not really that gay (anymore).

But I have to admit that the site of Vernon Carey and bean dip excites me.

I'm off to Circle K for another sixer!

Valhalla!

No Doubt about it! If Sparano and Ireland do not turn it around this year in Miami, their out of here! As Marshall Dillion would have said, "Get out of Dodge"We'll settle for Get out of Miami!" Watch!
