One of the questions that remains unanswered on the eve of the Miami Dolphins' regular-season opener is how effective rookie running back Daniel Thomas will be and how much the club will need backup-to-the-backup Larry Johnson behind him.
The reason this is important is the Dolphins cannot hope to rely on Reggie Bush to carry the football 25 times per game, regardless of what anyone in the organization insists. The second reason this is important is that Thomas didn't have a good preseason.
The third reason is the Dolphins didn't really want either Ricky Williams or Ronnie Brown back this season.
We'll soon see about Thomas, who is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury for tomorrow's game against New England. I would estimate that even if he is active for the game, the Dolphins cannot be completely sure he'll be able to finish. So I would expect Larry Johnson to be active. It will work as insurance in case Thomas suffers another tweak to his hamstring.
Meanwile, both Brown and Williams have moved on and have already begun their 2011 seasons. They've done it with different degrees of success.
Ronnie Brown rushed four times for 7 yards in his Philadelphia Eagles debut.
Ricky Williams gained 63 yards on 12 carries, including a 26-yard run for the Baltimore Ravens.

How do the wes get all the lucky breaks?
Maybe there's no such thing as Karma.
Oh, wait, the troll got caught flip flopping last night, KARMA RULES!

We and the Jets have comparable Personnel. But I don't like the way Rex coaches. As his Father, he has flaws in his Philosophy.

Boy Romo kind of sucks too. He always seems to cave when the pressure is on and when he's needed most. I know guys on here won't agree but I highly doubt we'd be much further along if he was running the show here in Miami. Let's hope he never gets released or maybe another ex-Cowboy ends up in Miami....LOL.

I don't know anything about Deep Sea fishing.
As for the other, Crack is no good, very bad. Of course I don't have to tell you this with your Meth "problem" and all I'm sure.
Now Oxies are a whole nother matter. They rock, though Dilaudid are way better, but harder to get.
Whichever kind you find, make sure you break them down properly for injecting. Try at least ten at a time.
PS: It'll make this blog a lot better place......."Kirk"-LOL.
PSS: That was hilarious how you were talking to yourself last night as "Finsome" and "Kirk". Even better than when you used to be the big strong police officer(ROTFLMAO) the "Cuban Menace" and "ALoco". Accusing yourself of sniffing glue, the Blow Up Doll you called the Princss of Pineapples-LOL.................Truly Priceless!
That's some funny stuff, that right there!

Much better said, Boardwalk.

With our Oline, Henne WILL be running for his life against this jets D, they're better than last year. Dallas D is looking good, let's see which one tires first!

FlopFlipper,
Big difference between commenting on something happening during the game and having watched both these guys for a number of years. What people were saying today was annointing Cam Newton after one game against a subpar defence. Big difference!
Posted by: Craig M | September 11, 2011 at 09:45 PM
AND Dallas forgets how to tackle........
Posted by: Boardwalk | September 11, 2011 at 09:46 PM
Dear Mr. Aloco
I have never posted under any other names but SoiledBottom.
Odin mentioned somthing about Dilaudid which brought back some fond memories of which I dont recall about Qualudes...remember the first Cheech and Chong movie....towards the end when Tommy Chong was banging that chick in the van and she was yammering on about ludes(Qualudes)....good times, good times
Soiled :)
Posted by: SoiledBottom | September 11, 2011 at 09:46 PM
redsky,
What makes you think the Jets defence is better than last year? No JT, no Shaun Ellis and everyone else is a year older. How are they better?
Posted by: Craig M | September 11, 2011 at 09:47 PM
...For my money, Oxycontin was far and away the top shelf of pharamcutical opiates.. Oxymorphone(dilaudid) never did it for me. Pheyntenol...I could wear 2 patches...NADA. Morhpine Sulfate...unless they were grey and read 100 milligrams..I'll pass. Even now, the new Oxy's suck...OP's..Can't shoot em' snort em'(unless you want to take an hour to break them down)Give me 80 milligrams multiple times a day(only with a perscription of course) and that was better then waiting on the corner for glory....Doesn't matter now. Bupenorphine is about as far as I can take ie anymore.. For all the fun, almost lost everything I have...

You are making stuff up now. Show me were I anointed anyone? It was reported that Newton had the best first game statistically of any QB in history. I mentioned that and said not an ounce more. And you know that. And you know I came back to point out I wasn't making any future predictions. Newton, #1 overall pick, exceeded expectations in his first game. I said nothing more.
Please don't misrepresent others comments to get out of your own bind.
Posted by: kirk | September 11, 2011 at 09:51 PM
kirk,
I wasn't referring to you. There were other people on here that were all hot and heavy about Cam Newton today. Go back and read.
Posted by: Craig M | September 11, 2011 at 09:53 PM
Craig M, they look more alive, they look like they're trying harder, they look determined. And, our Oline worries me!

I see no difference. You made two diametrically opposed statements in the span of about an hour. Here, read them again for your pleasure:

Of course Cam is going to encounter tough Times this Season. But I think he can learn.

Ok then. I missed those, been watching the game.
Posted by: kirk | September 11, 2011 at 09:55 PM
redsky,
I would agree with both of those points you made.
Posted by: Craig M | September 11, 2011 at 09:55 PM
Odinseye,
I was the one that posted some stats on Henne (ranked #4 QB in preseason throwing to 7 players who made 25 yards or more during the preaseason) and stated that I believed that showed Henne had a grasp of Daboll's offense and that it might mean our offense had taken the next step towards a more explosive and attacking offense. Only to be told, by kirk, that those stats were totally meaningless. I guess he would have preferred that Henne rank 24th or worse among QB's in the preseason so he would have something else to complain about with Henne. If you want your quarterback to be terrible, then only bad news and bad stats count. Good news and any good stats are meaningless, I guess.
GO FINS!!!

Soiled,
Pay no attention. He's just trying to get assciated with your greatness.
More importantly, Roar, ROAR 714's, that's the ticket.
We used to have these biker gang guys do our security for the shows(among other things). The guys last name was Roar and he gave me my first two Roar 714's during a show we were doing on my 16th birthday.
At the tender age of 16, I thought it was SO KOOL he had the same name as what was on the LUDE ;)

GREAG M, WHAT DOES diametrically MEAN, IS THAT CHINA TALK?
Posted by: ALoco | September 11, 2011 at 10:01 PM
One guy was saying Cam Newton because he threw for 400 yards today is already a better QB than Henne. That's the kind of dumba** comments that drives me nuts on here. Can we wait and watch Cam play a little bit before we draw those conclusions?
