The Dolphins are holding on so far at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Yes, they gave up a TD pass from Colt McCoy to Josh Cribbs that victimized Sean Smith in one-on-one coverage. That tied the game at 7-7 in the second quarter. McCoy has otherwise struggled, completed only 5 of 14 passes for 73 yards. He has a 47.6 rating right now.
But Dan Carpenter connected on a 23-yard field goal to give the Dolphins back the lead at 10-7.
Chad Henne is playing very well so far. He's completed 15 of 19 for 191 yards and one TD. His quarterback rating is 126.1.

Armando,
Hope about the deep pass to Hartline? No good?

DEFENSE RARELY EVER GETS A STOP WHEN THEY NEED TO MOST. STOP DREAMING GUY!
Posted by: DyingBreed | September 25, 2011 at 03:06 PM
Dont look now but Sean Smith just made an open field tackle.
Posted by: Angry Elf | September 25, 2011 at 03:06 PM
Why do we always tackle so they get a 1st down or forward progress more field awareness defense
Posted by: David | September 25, 2011 at 03:07 PM
brady has 2 ints

I must admit I was holding out hope that the Fins would prove all the nay sayers wrong. Even after the NE loss, I couldn't help feel good about what looked to be a new and improved Henne. I thought we were finally going to have a legit offense to complement our "top 5" defense.
Now I just want to curl up in the fetal position, and suck my thumb..... We are not a very good football team.
I feel sorry for Tony S. I truly feel he can be a good coach. I personally place more blame at Jeff Ireland's feet for his horrible FA moves, and mediocre drafting. Tony only has so much talent to put on the field.

UGH...
Posted by: superPHIN | September 25, 2011 at 03:07 PM
First time i heard his name called. Drawing holding calls at least.
Posted by: TAO | September 25, 2011 at 03:07 PM
Joe Thomas has dominated all of the left ends on the Miami defense -- JT, Odrick, all of them.
Posted by: Armando Salguero | September 25, 2011 at 03:07 PM
Phintastic,
Are we watching the same game? We are winning on the road 13-10 you realize, right?
Posted by: Craig M | September 25, 2011 at 03:08 PM
LOL. Pillowbiter in Boca is a retard. Trying to troll me. Obviously a stroke victim.
Draw = horrid call. Red zone issues are weird. Like entire team and staff freaks out.
Posted by: Sideshow Bill | September 25, 2011 at 03:08 PM
Excuse me a sec.
Posted by: Gotta take a crap... | September 25, 2011 at 03:08 PM
we need a new gm in order to get a good coach
Posted by: ctphinsfan | September 25, 2011 at 03:08 PM
cool we may only lose by 4
Posted by: ctphinsfan | September 25, 2011 at 03:09 PM
ONLY REAL POSITIVE IS WE'RE PLAYING THE BROWNS TODAY. STILL WE HAVE A GIFT FOR PLAYING DOWN TO OUR OPPONENTS NO MATTER HOW INFERIOR!
Posted by: DyingBreed | September 25, 2011 at 03:09 PM
Craig M,
You do realize these are the Cleveland Browns, right?
Posted by: Phintastic | September 25, 2011 at 03:10 PM
O wow...13-10 going to the fourth.....Great Game*lmao*

Nah, dude, nah. I'm just, like you know, worried about ya, bro. That's all.

Hey Jason Taylor-a lot of talking and NO walking-do your job + change the game-Dansby + Wake same thing
Posted by: David | September 25, 2011 at 03:10 PM
We probably should be ahead by more but being ahead on the road isn't that bad.
Posted by: MiamiD20 | September 25, 2011 at 03:11 PM
SO HARD TO EVALUATE EXACTLY WHAT THIS TEAM IS BECAUSE CLEARLY THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BEAT GOOD TEAMS AND ALSO PLAYS DOWN TO THE COMPETITION NO MATTER HOW TERRIBLE ARE THE BAD TEAMS.
Posted by: DyingBreed | September 25, 2011 at 03:11 PM
I shall ask and I shall receive. Nice Wakey!
Posted by: TAO | September 25, 2011 at 03:12 PM
Phintastic,
What would make you happy? If we were beating them 21-10 or something? I'm not sure what you're looking for. This is a team that's started the year 0-2. I'll take any victory right now. Can't afford to be 0-3 to have anything matter for the rest of the season.
Posted by: Craig M | September 25, 2011 at 03:12 PM
We need 7!
Posted by: Jcb | September 25, 2011 at 03:12 PM
You guys need a stud in the 4th quarter, not this pansy you got in now.
Posted by: Andy Luck | September 25, 2011 at 03:12 PM
You have to attribute most of the problem is the inability to score in the red zone....period
Posted by: h8dpats | September 25, 2011 at 03:13 PM
Big drive here...need to put them away
Posted by: KBrad | September 25, 2011 at 03:14 PM
now run the ball with Thomas.
Posted by: mike d | September 25, 2011 at 03:16 PM
Bush with a 20 yd run...and a 3 yd gain.

THROW IT AWAY
Posted by: KBrad | September 25, 2011 at 03:16 PM
I love how everyone just KNOWS WITHOUT A DOUBT that Andrew Luck is the Jesus of football. If this staff DID draft him next season and he turned out to be a stiff the same needle-d**ks would retroactively hammer that pick.
Posted by: Sideshow Bill | September 25, 2011 at 03:16 PM
another browns sack
Posted by: PhinsFan4Life | September 25, 2011 at 03:16 PM
Ugh - this game is frustrating to watch
Posted by: Matt L | September 25, 2011 at 03:17 PM
Craig M,
So you expect something to matter for the rest of the season? By that logic you must think we're good (comparatively speaking to the rest of the NFL).
Did you expect to start 0-2??? If not, how many games do you "expect" us to win this season with the product that we have put on the field, thus far???
Posted by: Phintastic | September 25, 2011 at 03:17 PM
Craig, here's what I'm looking for: improvement. None.
Defense still can't cover middle of field. 2 big plays overthrown by McCoy.
Henne/offense still can't score in RZ.
Sparano still cheering FGs and still HC
Posted by: Chris | September 25, 2011 at 03:17 PM
Chad "Vick" Henne. How long will he last?
Posted by: TAO | September 25, 2011 at 03:17 PM
henne ran right into the rush horrible instincts
Posted by: Bill | September 25, 2011 at 03:18 PM
Penalties = undisciplined = bad coaching
Posted by: 72perfectstill | September 25, 2011 at 03:19 PM
STUPID play call
Posted by: DC Dolfan | September 25, 2011 at 03:19 PM
What the heck was that play called? Lose another 5 yards? HORRIBLE!
Posted by: Matt L | September 25, 2011 at 03:19 PM
Sparano is a terrible O line coach, which is to say nothing of his head coaching abilities.
Posted by: Angry Elf | September 25, 2011 at 03:20 PM
I do feel that Henne is the only one pushing forward in a team filled with mediocre players
Posted by: jtlawson5 | September 25, 2011 at 03:20 PM
Fields in the MVP, I wasn't lying.
Posted by: DC Dolfan | September 25, 2011 at 03:21 PM
Fields = team MVP
Posted by: 72perfectstill | September 25, 2011 at 03:21 PM
Penalties are just killing them.
Posted by: mike d | September 25, 2011 at 03:22 PM
Finally a decent play downing punt on 2 Brandon Fields our shining start this year. Now there is some positive talk for ya
Posted by: PhinsFan4Life | September 25, 2011 at 03:22 PM
Nice job Fields. It does suck when your best player is the punter. They are fighting but come on...its against a team in pure rebuilding mode
Posted by: TAO | September 25, 2011 at 03:23 PM
Nice Solia.
Posted by: DC Dolfan | September 25, 2011 at 03:24 PM
Henne sacked 5 times, McCoy has all day!
Posted by: redsky | September 25, 2011 at 03:25 PM
No QB pressure No sacks Bad defensive line play
Posted by: 72perfectstill | September 25, 2011 at 03:26 PM
Nolan Carrot...oh sweet jesus
Posted by: TAO | September 25, 2011 at 03:28 PM

dolphins d is killing itself
Posted by: bb | September 25, 2011 at 03:30 PM
13 shouldn't cut a win in this league.
Posted by: JJ | September 25, 2011 at 03:31 PM
OK. Defense at last gets off field. Now run it run it run it with Thomas.
Posted by: mike d | September 25, 2011 at 03:32 PM
Henning would have run twice, incomplete...punt. Let's see....
