Dolphins lose to Texans, 23-13, to go 0-2

The Dolphins have lost again, this time to the Texans, 23-13.  It's bad, folks.

The team is not only 0-2 but 0-2 at home. It's bad, folks.

The Dolphins are winless. Everyone else in the AFC East is undefeated. It's really bad.

Now Miami goes on the road three consecutive game, including trips to San Diego and the New York Jets.

All I can say is no one's job can be considered safe right now -- even if we're just two games into the season. It's bad, folks.

And many of you tried to pin it all in me last year. What ya gotta say now? Still got no redzone, no sure handed receivers, no line. Not even Reggie can do much running. Like my predecessor said, you can't make chicken salad with chickin shyt.

guess what you were wrong about Daniel Thomas too! He broke a HUNDO in first game, you know, only days after you loudly proclaiming him to be a bust-ROTFLMAO!

Posted by: odinseye | September 18, 2011 at 08:32 PM

Look everybody. Dumba s s Odinseye is more excited and impressed about yardage than the costly late-game fumble by Thomas!! Sammie Smith v2.0!! I'm starting to really believe you're a blog-hit troll who couldn't care/know less about football. LMMFAO!!!

MDPhinFan,
What QB jerked off his fan base for a longer time? Fouts or Marino?
I mean seriously the 2 most prolific QB's to never win in the postseason.

Hey y'all.

I blew away my TV with my M-16.

I can't take it anymore.

"The first two games of the year remind me of TET offensive...There is NO light at the end of this tunnel...I have supported Sparano and Ireland the last two years, despite some questionable decisions...I do believe the dolphins have some talent, but Ireland lacks the ability to find the necessary additional pieces of the puzzle, while Sparano lacks the ability to bring together the talent he already has...Unfortunately, there are no easy answers and it appears things are going to get worse, much worse, before they get better - very disappointing...Armando do you agree???"

Coaching, coaching coaching. Poor coaching and unprepared players with them being out of position and poor play-calling in the red-zone (again and again and again and again). I am not giving the wishy-washy FO (Ireland) a pass at all. He is a POOR judge of talent overalll, although I really thought Thomas did an EXCELLENT job today, save the un-timely fumble. Why wasn't Bush used in the role he was signed for? Poor coaching is the answer. If we don't pick up 2 on the road and/or we lose our next home game against the Broncos, I WILL BE SURPRISED IF SPARANO ISN'T FIRED. Nolan could easily take over as interim. While on the subject of Nolan: I was suspect about his stats last year. So far this year: He has benn completely OUT-COACHED in the 1st 2 games. Cannot blame it on the players anymore. Our coaches are sucking wind and they need to do a gut check.

sean smith says they will take a look at the tape and make the proper adjustments. chad henne says they want to focus on the positive, not the negative.

Really, we need a coach and front office with a winning attitude. Enough of this crap. Besides a few good draft picks and free agents, this front office has not done crap. YOU get what you pay for. I love the FINS, but I am done watching this. I want a winner.

Dansby and Burnett going through the motions...pretty obvious most of tue defense knows Dumb and Dumber are lame ducks. Even Bell and Wake taking plays off.

Vontae may be insane.

Reshad Jones is a special teams player not a starting calber safety...only he and FP don't seem to know. Nolan Carroll needs to fill out his law school applications.

Henne wasn't good...even though had some drops. Still forcing ball into double coverage on The Borderline Personality Beast. Still inaccurate. Deflections. Has brain lock in RZ. Bush always open in flat.

Colombo has a couch in his near future.

Trusnik may be supplementing his income from opponents. He can't be THAT bad.

Henne

You guys are funny... If we had the chance to draft Luck, who says we would? We'd either trade out, or take an OG.

id cut smith, guy is worthless

No because Henne missed Hartline end the endzone after scrambling to his right on a gimme TD. Even fouts said that Henne panicked and missed. That is the difference between, say, a Ryan Fitzpatrick and our boy Henne. If only you would/could release your vice grip off of Henne's nutz you'd see that. Stop slurping Henne. There are kids reading this blog!

You watched this game and see Henne as the problem?

ROTFLMAO! If Marshall catches ths beutiful red zone pass with touch and accuracy, the Hartline pass never happens-Duh.

Besides, the pocket broke down causing Henne to scramble. By that time hartlines already out of bounds.

Get your forehead of your boyfriends abs and maybe you'll actually see the game. Ha ha ha!

Too bad the chiefs, colts and jaguars suck too

Hope in the very least we can get Boise St's Kellen Moore. The kid's a football junky and fearless as they come. His only knock is being only 6'1. Drew Brees had the same knock and same competitive fire.

Henne undoubtedly has improved. But he has failed miserably to improve where it matters most. The redzone and putting points on the scoreboard. Thats the primary reason qb's get payed for.

DS..that is the best summary of what happened that i have read. right on.

vote 1 if you think fist pumps makes it the year (or longer)
vote 2 if you think he is gone this week
vote 3 if you think we are in deep doo doo
vote 4 to hear this in spanish

welcome back to reality dying

Both were blessed with great offenses in their heyday and defenses that couldn't stop a good offense when it counted.

Q: Put Marino or Fouts on Montana's 49ers or Aikman's Cowboys - would Fouts or Marino have a championship? I say yes!

Mr. Odinseye,

Are you not on record saying no more excuses for Henne? No matter who the receivers, oline, OC, Henne has still been totally inept in the red zone. At what point does it become Henne's fault?

The Excuse Factory has been closed with no plans to reopen.

DD,

Its difficult to be too imaginative with your play calling when your oline seems to be a turnstile in both the running and passing game. You may just get your qb killed!

**FLIP FLOP ALERT**

You already posted it broder-LOL. You can't take it back now-LOL Oh Broder!

no thats where you are wrong. i never said nothing about thomas being a bust retard or are you too fuc@ed up to remember. now take hennes d$ck out of your mouth!

CT Phins says-you all suck ass

Good news for us is there is also Landry Jones and not just LUck

Let me take this time to admonish those of you who said we should keep Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, A.J. Edds, Patrick Cobbs, etc.

I'm really getting tired of the hate people have. First we waterboarded as a country, then they clapped for executions, NOW you folks don't want anyone to leave this cursed team. You want them to stay and suffer, with the rest of us.

No, not me. I wish those who leave well, and when they look back, saying with their eyes, "you can come too," I'll have to force myself not to follow them. But I don't wish we kept them, that's inhumane. I may have to suffer this fate, doesn't mean everyone else does too.

The fins r not the Bengals of the east coast. The Bengals r 1-1 and should've won today and its pretty bad when a owner/head coach combo like mike brown and Marvin Lewis makes us envious! SUCK FOR LUCK!!!!!

Why cause he dropped that TD pass and missed those kicks!

If you think that is a gimme TD, then you know nothing about football! Running the ball with Thomas inside the 10 is what they must do. Bush needs to return kicks and be the 3rd down back. Nothing more!

and Carolina, Seattle, Oakland, KC, AZ.

How'd you like to be a Cards fan and it's just sinking in that you're stuck with Kolb for at least 5 more years.

It's plain and simple. This roster has very few if any PLAYMAKERS. Years of bad personnel moves!

luck is million times better than any other qb coming out. lets hope 2-14 gets us first pick

Henne is tied to soprano and the next regime might use him as trade bait to get more picks or move up to get Luck or Landry.

Not true, puke breath. Hartline was open in the endzone and Henne, as usual, threw an inaccurate pass that sailed wide and out of bounds.

"mmmm waterboarding"- Homer Simpson

Good thing Cam newton is doing well, that's one less team to challenge for the Luck bowl!!

14-2

Please fire the coaches NOW and lets build for next year already. This season is all but done. Chad henne is still chad henne. The coaches continue to make bad calls. We are running the ball great and we get in the red zone and they pass, pass and pass. Thomas fumbles the ball and we dont give it to him any more, WOW.

sean smith says they will take a look at the tape and make the proper adjustments. chad henne says they want to focus on the positive, not the negative.

sparano calling timeout before the short fg hou misses then gets to re kick. acting like he was going for it on 4th and 1 in 4th qt then calls a timeout to punt instead of just taking delay of game and saving the to. we have the worst coaching staff in the nfl

You said he was a bust two. LOL, nobody ever fumbles when they get a helmet right on the ball right? Let me guess, you're sticking wih your original assessment, he's still a bust-Ah ha ha! If your not Armando Joe, I mean ahem MD, you just as bad-ROTFLMAO!

There are a ton of problems on this team and you miss everyone of them-BRILLIANT-ROTFLMAO!

i don't recall, im usually a henne basher so i don't think i did.

loss next week to cleveland will give us Luck!!!

ctphins:

He has to win at least once before our next home game against Denver in Oct. AND win that one. He better hope his maybe one lone road win comes agains the Jets in the Meadowlands. His asss IS on the hotseat and deservedly so.

I just feel like shooting myself it would make all the pain go away!

Running the ball with Thomas inside the 10 is what they must do. Bush needs to return kicks and be the 3rd down back. Nothing more!

You're an idiot if you think that not having a QB who can threaten the endzone with his arm doesn't hurt your red zone running game.

sean smith says they will take a look at the tape and make the proper adjustments. chad henne says they want to focus on the positive, not the negative.

u non-believer. Our OC still loves his white bread running back from Cleveland!

Anyway I think we'll get better as the season goes on.
Evidently the Pouncey-Thomas running combo looks promising.

Got to give it to Dabol, he found Hillis and he got us Thomas.

Jerry Jones also said that he does not have the luxury of owning a Profession which, of course, will never go broke.

So Carpenter will be fired tomorrow?

Why did Ireland fire Sapp but not Carpenter?

This game was ours! sad! it's like a re-run of last year!

cause sapp sucks

Posted by: odinseye | September 18, 2011 at 08:48 PM

I agree there are lots of problems on this team and Henne is one of them, not the least of them. LMAO at your lack of football knowledge, but then again you're just a blog-hit troll. LMMFAO!!!

but the blow fish were 3-1 in preseason.... glad blowcells left the house in good hands

The only way I'm watching another Dolphins game is if they get to .500 or better. I know it sounds bad but over a decade of this garbage has probably taken a few years off of my life and I am now in self preservation mode. I have better things to do with my time than to watch a clueless assistant coach try to play the role of head coach. I have better things to do with my money, unlike Ireland with Ross' money, I'm going to start spending mine on things that will serve me better. Thank God hockey season is right around the corner. The Miami Dolphins have ruined football for me.

GUYS FORGET ABOUT ANDREW LUCK. DONT YOU KNOW THE HISTORY OF THIS WRETCHED FRANCHISE?

WE'LL LOSE A BUNCH OF GAMES WHILE WE ALSO LOSING OUT ON ANDREW LUCK TOO. THEY'LL WIN JUST ENOUGH TO PISS US ALL OFF BY LOSING LUCK!

Why did Ireland fire the special teams coach LAST year but not this year?

Jackie Chan, the QB coach, better be watching his back.

a decade? I have been at it 30 plus years (ok 40 plus)

I puke because of the teams play, that's different from you pukong on your boyfriends abs!

Your boyfriend lied to you, you should have looked up for a sec, God forbid-LOL!

Hartline was covered like a glove.

Kinda like you were obviously "covering' your boyfriend.

Get some mouhwash and a clue-ROTFLMAO!

Yeah, Tuna sure got our house in order before he took his usual powder. They should sue him and try to get their money back.

odin u r a useless piece of dung.... yet u know that

so we lost...figured that would happen. however, the notion that we should give up on this team is flawed. we may be witnessing a long awaited reality check that leads to more stability and success in the long run. remember, there are a lot of new pieces to this puzzle. this may not be our year but i think we are on to something. hang in there...and lower your short term expectations in favor of long term gain.

i don't recall, im usually a henne basher so i don't think i did.
