Source: Dolphins '100 percent' not firing Sparano now

The Dolphins are 0-3 and they're in disbelief.

They cannot believe they are 0-3. They cannot believe they got there by losing to the Cleveland Browns today, 17-16.

But despite being in last place in the AFC East and one of only two teams standing at 0-3 as of this moment, the club is not planning on firing coach Tony Sparano right now.

I asked a source if there are changes planned in that regard this week. "No, nothing," was the response.

I asked for clarification. Are you 100 percent, I asked.

"One hundred percent," was the emphatic answer.

Sparano, for his part, told me he also has not been told of any change or planned change.

Obviously, folks can sleep on their thoughts overnight. Obviously, we are operating in the span of one hour after a loss and people can change their mind. But that's how things are at the moment as the Dolphins just left Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Ennui has set in. Is the front office fixable?

Source: Dolphins '100 percent' not firing Sparano now

News Flash - Dolphins '100 percent' going to live in the cellar this year!

Give him a pay raise.. That's what ya did before!

San Diego is playing the Dolphins next week.
Looks like an extra Bye week for the Chargers.

COACH NEEDS TO GO NOW! ALL /of em, maybe not daboll..

Rob Ryan for Fins headcoach

FOOLS!!!!

Fine with me... Waste Ross's money all you want, I WILL NOT GO THE GAMES, I WILL NOT BUY MEMORABILIA, I WILL NOT SHOP AT SPONSORS.

No More Enabling!!! The Phins need rehab,

NO MORE CHANCES!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is anyone surprised that a team owned by a celebrity obsessed real estate guy puts out such a product?

On the plus side Daniel Thomas looked good again. And Brandon, Fields that is, had another nice game.

Dear Reggie Bush.
Thanks for letting us arm tackle you.
You made our day so much easier.

I am a life long dolphin fan and live about 2 hrs from buffalo and the only thing i can say is go bills and tht's just wrong!!! but it ain't pretty in soflo, good luck tony u r not the problem

Thanks Brandon Marshall for not trying today...

If Peyton Hillis played I am sure we would have gotten stomped a la 27 - 10.

So is Reggie Bush like 90 pounds?

Rather than talk about who is going to coach next year let's start a conversation about who is going to buy this dumpster fire of s team. I'm sure the asking price can't be that high?

fans: 100% not going to any more home games.

Phins can't even fire their coach correctly.

Bunch of SOFT, SELFISH, NO HUSTLE, LOSERS!!

LOSERS! LOSERS! LOSERS! LOSERS!!!

How does that feel JASON? LOSER!

How does that feel TONY? your a LOSER!!!!!!!!

Only players with heart on this team

Jake Long
Chad Henne
Devon Bess
Maybe rookie Daniel Thomas
Koa Misi, and he is not good enough for the NFL.
Brian Hartline.
Brandon Fields. LOL

All others, here for the paycheck. maybe not Y.Bell

Coaches can not motivate and coach.

Fire them all, except for the above and Daboll

Ireland not Sporano needs to be fired 1st

I think Jimmy Wilson will become a good corner... he's already better than sean smith

Tony Sparano just burned his butt when he sat down.
He needs first aid.
Quick - get a fire hose and wash him down the gutter.

If I were the 'Phins, I'd fly directly to San Diego. There will be nothing positive about going back to Miami.

FOLKS THIS PHINS HAVE BEEN JINKED SINCE THE 70'S TIME TO BAILED OUT TO ANOTHER TEAM AND KEEP YOUR SANITY ;)

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE BILLS AND JETS TO KICK THIS LOWLY PHINS IN THEIR NUTS ;)

If Sparano was a real man, he would admit that hes a bad head coach and quit. Dolfans deserve that much.

Why would they fire him now when the bye week is after next weeks game? Also, why fire him at all this season? They already owe him 9 million guaranteed and the team isn't going anywhere. Might as well stay status quo, go 2-14, dismiss him at the end of the year, and bring in a new coach(Cowher).

Hey guys, you can totally 100% trust anything we say. Really. 100%!

Remember how we brought in that strong veteran quarterback to have a healthy competition with Chad Henne? Yeah, me too!

1. Hundred. Per. Cent.

However, they should fire Ireland ASAP. He won't do what he should do, trade away players that won't be here long term for picks, because he wants as many wins as possible to secure his job. Ross won't do this of course, that's his boy.

Uh, Jimmy Wilson a "good" corner? The same one that let that TD float over his head? The same one that looked like Smith earlier in the game. Uh...sure.

Start looking a talking for new GM

The Bills, the Lions, Texans... teams who toke advantage of opportunities in personnel that we had to build a team. it's only week 3 but i'm not looking to the chargers game next week. now i know how it used to feel to fans of the aforementioned teams.

Dear Sean Smith,

You look so confused when Josh Cribbs scored on you.

Have you no shame?

He's a rookie heck vontae and smith each give up a touchdown a game and they are in their third seasons so he is already as good as they are

Quick!

Sign some more Cowboys rejects!!

It's quite simple, the game plan is to scuttle the ship with sparano on board to asure a 0-16 season and guarante picking Andrew Luck, if Ross has any chance of making sure he can sell tickets to the fan base next year. GENENIUS!

I like the idea of Rob Ryan, especially in the same division as his brother. 2 fat, loud-mouth jerks who happen to be good coaches. At least it would be fun again.

Make this happen post haste!

The Miami Cellar Dwellers.

Sean smith...less swagger, more coverage!

Of course not. Can't have this team winning now can we?

We all know what the real deal looks like and This GM

The Miami Cellar Dwellers.

What does our new logo look like?

Fine by me. Enjoy those blackouts, Fish.

Rob Ryan wants to be a head coach badly, plus he hates to lose! Gruden and Cowher are not hungry anymore! Too rich and well fed!

I dont know, I really think Grudwn lobbied to caoch this team on monday night football.

I think it is about passion and heart. If u have those things for winning. Good things happen.

JMO

This GM and HC are not it!

Tony Sparano is a really good coach.

Headline Miami: "Dolphins Officially Change Their Name to Flounders!"

See how he feels after they lose to the Chargers next week. It's only a matter of when, not if.

Whatever. Looks like i'll be paying off my child support instead of going to Fins games.

pathetic. The owner is a joke. The coaching staff is a joke. Get rid of em all and start over. Not blaming players, even though some of them need to go too. This franchise has fallen. Once proud, now the whipping child of the league. Get someone in there who knows something about competitive, championship caliber football. Makes me sick.

What does the sky look like?

I can't see it from the cellar.

Do yourselves a favor, don't write about the Phins, don't read about the Phins, and don't spend a dime on the Phins...
THE FANS WILL MAKE THE CHANGE IF OWNERSHIP DOESN'T HAVE THE BALLS TO DO IT.
IGNORE THIS TEAM, THEY ARE NO LONGER RELEVANT...
MAYBE THEY'LL GET THAT WAY WHEN OWNERSHIP GETS A REAL COACH AND REAL FRONT OFFICE...
TWO CHOICES: COWHER OR FISHER

Cant fire Ireland or Sparano before seasons end. They are our best 2 hopes for winning the "Suck For Luck" sweepstakes!

What is the weather like today?

There are no windows down here in the cellar.

Disbelief at 0-3 ...SERIOUSLY , this offense in the redzone has not been fixed at all since week one, they've gotten worse and excuses are piling up, how are they improved from last year????

Players should be rolling heads right now in the locker room instead of being in Disbelief over 0-3....they deserve it 100%!!!

I'm stupefied.

Miami has the Dolphins, the gayest football team, they run around in light-pink gown's like the biggest ferries you've ever seen, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins, Miami Dolphins really suck!

Its official, Reggie Bush is the dumbest free agency move the Dolphins have ever made. Oh wait a minute...

Seems like a quick firing would suggest they had a 'plan' and that they (TS?) weren't sticking to that plan...if they have no idea why they are 0-3 then doesn't that suggest there was no bigger plan? Can anyone honestly say the words Ireland's plan, without either laughing or gagging?

The spark is gone, fire the coach now! Would you let a bad employee stay at your bussiness and run the store as your customers quite coming in, stay status quo and you wont have 5000 season ticket holders left by the end of the year.
